"Shattered Unplugged" is our special feature where we conduct interviews and share Encouraging Thoughts from our team members. "Through the Realm of Light and Shadow" is our brand new Role-Play Adventure Series set in the world of J. R. R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings Series.
The Champions of Light have made it! Now hear some of the amazing highlights our players can recall in our Final Debrief of this Series.

Over the last few months, multiple lawsuits have rocked the entertainment industry.
The most disturbing involves the State of California vs. Activision Blizzard including allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination within the workplace.
A second lawsuit involves the Black Widow actress, Scarlett Johansson, suing Disney (parent company of Marvel Entertainment) for loss of personal revenue because of how the movie was released.
In the Season Finale of ShatterCast, we share our honest opinions about the lawsuits and the impact they could have on the entertainment industry. We also discuss one troubling similarity we found in both cases - the rather strong and defensive initial response from the entertainment companies.
How could they have handled those responses better? And in our own lives, how do we handle times when we might be accused of something?

He has combined a lot of Bible research with some fun mechanics to make an engaging experience.

In this special segment, we interview the creator of the game "Commissioned" by Chara Games. It is an incredibly fun and at times challenging game that takes an engaging look at early church history.
Patrick Lysaght and his lovely wife, Katherine, released "Commissioned" about five years ago. However, the new expansion for the game entitled "The Call" just hit Kickstarter this week and was funded in 52 minutes. That is amazing! They still have some incredible stretch goals they would love to meet and this is also a great time just to learn more about the game and its creators.
In this interview, we learn more about "Commissioned", its mechanics, its expansion, and how the theme influenced its design. Insights are shared about general game design, funding games, and also publishing games. Finally, we discuss how difficult times, faith, and game design can all meet in beautiful ways.

Meanwhile, some board games have been able to continue their production most notably Frosthaven (the sequel to the massively successful Gloomhaven) has raised almost $13 million on Kickstarter. And Marvel Champions (just released the end of last year) announced its first major expansion.
In Marvel Champions, cards in your hands can serve multiple purposes. The challenge is to be willing to discard some cards in order to have the chance to draw even better ones. In life, do we also face the challenge of being willing to let some things go for the opportunity to be blessed even more?

A few months ago it was announced that Spider-Man may no longer be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans were distraught and almost immediately started to take sides as to who was at fault: Sony (owner of the Spider-Man film rights) or Disney (owner of the MCU).
We have since learned the great news that Spider-Man is indeed back in the MCU! (Including some recent revelations on the unusual circumstances that help make that happen... we're looking at you Tom Holland).
This segment was originally recorded during the time when there was still some doubt about Spider-Man's future. We discuss our thoughts about whether Spider-Man could survive outside of the MCU and also the danger in people being too hasty to take a side or make hasty judgments in conflicts.

Welcome to the Premiere of ShatterCast, Season 2!
Recently, one of our viewers asked us to give our thoughts on a recent news story. After discussing in our team we realized this topic was something we were very passionate about and was very personal to us. We thought the discussion was so important that we decided to do some quick edits and make this our premiere episode.
Take a deep breath, here is the story so far to the best of our research...
A few weeks ago Activision Blizzard made news when they decided to penalize a player who made a brief statement supporting the protests in Hong Kong. Blizzard was met with almost instant fan outrage for the perceived severity of their punishment, for what seemed like a double-standard when other players based in the U.S. expressed similar support of Hong Kong, and their actions received the attention of international news organizations and even congressional leaders in the U.S.
Activision Blizzard has since decreased the penalty of the original player and has now penalized the U.S. based players in a similar fashion. However, it still has led to many people still being unhappy with Blizzard and some even boycotting their games. At the center of the controversy is the concern that Blizzard acted in such a way because of outside pressure they may have felt.
Did Blizzard go too far with their original actions? And how do we respond when we have a choice to make but might feel outside pressure as well? How often in our own lives are we willing to stand up for what we believe is "right" even when we might feel like we may be standing alone?
