Fear. The word alone may cause certain feelings within, for we all have had our own experiences with it. But whatever the circumstance, we are left with a choice. Will we yield to fear or will we choose to yield to His perfect love? Will we “stand still” and wait on Him to move forward or will we continually wander on our own accord?
There are many lenses one could look through when trying to define the word “son.” Our Father invites us to look at sonship through the eyes of His Son, who walked this earth with a knowing of why He came. He knew His “why,” so that we could know ours.
When one hears the phrase “heart of worship,” often the first thought that comes to mind is worship by way of song. However, when examining scripture, there are many instances where worship takes on a meaning outside of the accompaniment of music. Look at Abraham when he was asked to sacrifice Isaac. The posture of his heart was surrendered to the Word of the Lord…his obedience and surrender was actually worship. This lifestyle of worship is our call as sons and daughters.
The bread is fresh. The table is set. An empty seat is awaiting. The invitation to sit at the table and dine with Him has been given. Being seated with Him and setting the Lord before will usher in divine encounter. And divine encounter will produce a knowing of Him by way of experience.
Jesus’ resurrection is a fundamental part of our faith. It changed everything. It should absolutely be celebrated and talked about! But it should not stop there. It is not meant to just be talked about, it is meant to be experienced. This experience is not just for us, but it is evidence to the world.
Life is but a vapor. We only have so long on earth. When life’s to do lists try to distract, may the stirring within our hearts remind us of the point of it all. We have been identified by our Father as sons and daughters. We are called to serve. We are called to love one another as He has loved us.
What does servanthood look like? There are certain examples that come to mind, but one stands above the rest. Jesus modeled the attributes of servanthood like no one else. He lived His life in a way that demonstrated He knew exactly who He was and why He was here. He showed us what it means to serve by walking confidently in identity, being a giver, and choosing to love no matter what. This is the ultimate blueprint to follow.
From the Old Testament until now, our assignment has been the same. We are called to tend to the flame. In the days of old it was about gazing upon a sacrificial fire. Now, it is all about staring into eyes like fire. The invitation is to behold Jesus. For when we behold the eyes like fire, there is no other option than to come out with an authentic flame.
In the culture we live in today, the world will try to influence us into thinking we are called to this and that. As Believers, it is significantly important that we come into the authentic expression of who He designed us to be and operate from a place of knowing why He designed us that way. When we begin to express this, the parts of the body of Christ will come together in unity with the Father in order to reveal to the world Jesus, His Son.
You don’t just stumble upon the authentic you. You are your true authentic self when you have the full awareness that His Spirit abides within. He formed you for His purpose, glory, and will. You are not designed for the likely, you are designed for the impossible. You are called to walk this planet in authenticity, so heaven may be revealed to earth.
Our mindset is so important. If we expand our understanding and see “mindset” as having our mind set and singularly focused on the Lord, the significance becomes clearer. We’re not just natural beings, but spiritual beings, and our mind is the natural gateway for heaven to come to earth. The right mindset keeps us in position to catch the wind of Holy Spirit and live as the access point for heavenly realities to come into this earthly realm.
Events in our world’s culture are designed to demand a response, most often based in worry and doubt. This can cause an emotional rollercoaster, even for us as Believers. So how should we respond? This is our opportunity to prove what’s within us and represent the culture of the Kingdom - the King’s domain, where there is one King and one throne. In this day of breakthrough, the King is beckoning us back to the simplicity of His table where He fills our cup, even when our enemies surround us. It’s there, in His domain, where we tap into joy that supercedes all emotions.
Our Father shapes and forms the day, and we each have the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Rejoicing is the expression of joy that is already present within each of us, even when we don’t feel it. When we live in the awareness that this joy exists within and understand that it’s not an emotion that has to be pursued, it will provide the endurance we need for what is set before us.
Our Father wants to see us in breakthrough and victory. It doesn’t mean that everything will be easy and trials won’t happen. When those moments come it’s so vital to respond by speaking these words to yourself: “This is the day that the Lord has made.…” Seeing this day, whatever day that is, as the day the Lord made, will raise us up to be exactly where and who we need to be in that moment. And ultimately, there will be victory and breakthrough.
The Lord most often speaks in a still, small voice. If we continually give Him our ear and lean in to hear the whisper of His voice, even in the noise and chaos around us, we can enter into the faith-rest life He has promised.
Breakthrough: What does that mean and what does it look like? It’s important to perceive breakthrough not as an event, but as a process. It is first internal, then external. The right perception will cause a shift within and create the stability and root that needs to go deep in order for us to experience all we are designed to experience.
An “eve” of something is the day or moment of time before a significant event takes place. The word of the Lord to us is that we are on the eve of breakthrough. As Tribe, as a family, we are leaning into this word. We receive it as an intentional promise from Him and have an extreme anticipation of His goodness to come.
“A thrill of hope” is not just a phrase from a Christmas song. It’s about a supernatural hope that comes from the face to face presence of God, an announcement that Christ lives within us and our life can be filled with nothing but a joy-filled expectation for good.
If we’re honest, sometimes it’s not easy to be thankful in everything. It seems so simple, but even when life is tough, there is great significance in going back to rehearse and give thanks for the breakthroughs and blessings in our lives. If we can perceive it, gratitude is the key that unlocks the gateway to manifesting the goodness of the Lord.
The knowledge of the Lord is embedded in every human heart, and He has made His wonderful attributes easily perceived. (See Romans 1). It is vital to remember that what we perceive is what we think about and what we think about is what we believe, and what we believe, we speak. We are creators, and what we perceive and speak, creates and shapes the world around us.
If we can perceive it, today is a new day. In order for us to move into this new day, we have to be willing to leave tradition, lose sight of the shore and follow Abba into something that is brand new, life-giving and power-filled. Something that will testify to generations to come that we went after the One Thing with our whole hearts and didn’t sell out to tradition, but sold out to The Lord.
There is something within us that hungers for more than what has been defined by church tradition. Holy Spirit is beckoning us to step out of the typical norm and allow ourselves to be reborn again…a reimagining and rebirthing of what we are meant to look like. This is more than a shift, it is saying yes to the call of the Lord to start a movement.
In the Sabbatismos lifestyle, there is a promise of rest that is for us today, every day. This promise is an invitation to keep and celebrate Abba’s rest and show us what is attainable because of the living Christ within. This rest brings a re-wilding, re-changing, re-introduction into the reality of who we were designed to be.
There is a Sabbath rest that is so much deeper than just a day. It’s the rest that Yahweh took on the 7th day of creation, a Sabbatismos - celebrating the completed work of perfection. So it should be for us, to keep a Sabbatismos lifestyle as the foundation of who we are as His sons and daughters. Not settling for just a day, but a full and complete rest, in every day and in everything.
The will and intent of our Father is for His Kingdom plan to be released into the earth. When the mind is renewed (Romans 12:2), the person is renewed, and the atmosphere around us is changed. This brings heaven to earth.
A people of chara (joy) bring heaven to earth because they carry the presence of the Lord. This deep, inner abiding and rejoicing joy comes directly from His presence, found through communion with Him.
“A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8 (KJV). The earth needs sons and daughters to be true believers who will take every thought - the bad and the good, negative and positive - and hold them captive to the authority of the mind of Christ. It will create a consistency within that enables us to always live in deep and inner abiding rejoicing.
The emotional pursuit or expectation of happiness can cause us to miss the supernatural joy we were designed to have in every circumstance we face. The original Greek Biblical word for joy is “chara” (pronounced har-ah), which means: “A deep and inner abiding rejoicing.” This joy lives, moves, and has its being within us. It is a joy that is unspeakable and full of His goodness. This joy knows that even in the midst of storms, Abba’s will surely will come to pass.
We are spirit beings living in a natural body. When we face the circumstances of life, we have to go to this checkpoint within ourselves and ask, “Is my mindset focused on hope and victory?” This reminds our natural man that we have the mind of Christ and no matter what we are dealing with, we face that circumstance with hope (a joy-filled expectation for good), knowing that at the end there will be victory.
Abba does not want us to be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. When our mind is renewed, we are coming into agreement with the mind of Christ, so that we are able to prove the reality of the heavenly realm here on this earth, not one day, but today.
I Corinthians 2:16 tells us that we have the mind of Christ. It is not reserved just for the preacher or theologian, or the person who seems to have it all together, but for those who feel lost, broken, sick, depressed or less than; for those who are not living in abundance or have debt that they fear can’t be recovered…it is for those who suffer lack in any form. Do not believe anything other than this truth: you have the mind of Christ, and there is no circumstance that cannot end with hope and victory.
For too long, we have allowed ourselves to believe that it’s acceptable for our cup to be half-full and that “almost” is good enough. Our cup was meant to be full and running over! Yahweh is awakening us to actually believe that blessing in all things was reserved for His sons and daughters, and we were created to live a life of abundance. This is the promise of the Scriptures, and it brings glory to the Lord.
We were designed for something far greater than what we have ever comprehended. It may seem too simple to believe, but your purpose for being on this earth is to bring Abba’s heavenly reality into your earthly reality. Your mission is to manifest His glory so that the knowledge of His goodness floods this earth like the waters cover the sea. This does not happen through the religious system or political leaders. It comes by way of you understanding that the entire earth is standing on tiptoe, waiting for the revealing of Abba’s sons and daughters. It is waiting to respond to you!
When Jesus walked this earth, He would often turn aside, alone, to pray and align Himself with His Father. His example shows us a much deeper revelation of what prayer actually should be. It is meant to be communication between Creator and creation, the silencing of any voice and opinion other than our Father’s, allowing Him and Him alone to remind us who we are so that we can align ourselves with what His word is over us.
Holy Spirit within us is a transformer of the way we see and think, the way we operate and make decisions, and the way we find peace and joy. In this transforming power, He reveals Abba’s will to us, calling us to something higher than ourselves. He enables us to come into agreement with what Abba has spoken and we can be confident that He will see it through.
Our Father loved the cosmos so much that He sent His only Son to save it. A love like that cannot be boxed up or restrained or bound by the rules and regulations of religion, for it is only the kindness and goodness of God expressed through us that will show others the authentic presence of our loving Father.
There is a supernatural exchange that takes place when we worship. As we honor the environment of worship and minister to the Lord, we become aligned with who He is, and what He is speaking over us. Everything He wants to accomplish through and for us is done by way of worship.
In every situation, every battle and every storm, in the good times and the bad - He is “I AM" and it shall come to pass. There will be trials, but the One who is above it all is with you. It will not end in trial but in glory. It will come to pass.
We have to know how vital it is to seek our own face to face life-union with the Father and not rely on the supermarket of the church system to be our source of sustenance. Once you have tasted of the wild, authentic nature of the Father, nothing else can ever satisfy.
There is a confidence that comes within when you are in such union with Abba that you truly believe He is working all things together for your good, and no matter what you step into, you believe you cannot miss.
Jim Lovejoy of The North Gate in Streetsboro, Ohio brought a timely word to Tribe, encouraging the dreamers to awaken and embrace the new day that is dawning.
Intimacy with Holy Spirit is found in a deep, living, day to day relationship with Him. In this intimacy, we come to know Abba and truly trust that He is good and is working in our favor.
The language of the Holy Spirit is a gift given to us by our Father, but religion has made it divisive and misunderstood. We are redeemers, called to redeem the beauty of this pure, authentic gift and lay hold of the great significance in the personal intimacy that this language possesses.
If we can let go of the reins of religion and grasp what was completed and perfected on the cross, we will fully understand that when Jesus said “It is Finished,” He was proclaiming the beautiful message of salvation…that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
The favor of Holy Spirit is with us because we were created to be representatives of the Kingdom of God and what He is speaking in this hour. This is your moment!
When we start to step aside into the revelation of the person of Holy Spirit and begin to seek after a relationship with Him, not based on need - things will begin to be unlocked in the life of Believers and we can then truly say, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard….”
The Bible speaks to us about the nature of Holy Spirit and His function in the life of a Believer. He is meant to be the most unifying force between brothers and sisters in Christ and not divisive, as opinions and religion have made Him.
This is a time to celebrate the grace that brought us to today and say “Thank You” for where we’ve been, and then embrace the new grace that will take us where we are going.
These are the greatest days in history. We are about to move into the most explosive, incredible days that Yahweh’s sons and daughters have ever seen. Look around and see the telltale signs of His wind beginning to blow.
There comes a place of understanding where a new word from the Lord requires a shift, a new level of trust, where we say yes to the Spirit-Wind that is blowing and lean into what He is speaking. “For the Spirit-Wind blows as it chooses. You can hear its sound, but you don’t know where it came from or where it’s going. So it is the same with those who are Spirit-born!” John 3:8 TPT
The Lord often speaks to us about our physical bodies in order to reveal something we need to see on a deeper, spiritual level. But if we never heed His voice and address the physical part of who we are, we won’t see the spiritual significance He is wanting to show us.
We are so prone to self awareness...evaluating, questioning and criticizing ourselves. Yahweh’s original intent for us is to live in freedom and rest and recognize that in reality, we are His sons and daughters who were designed to reflect the life and light of His Kingdom.
We are not meant to walk this walk alone in isolation. It was Abba’s original intent when He designed us to stay in connection with other Believers, joined together by Holy Spirit.
Grace can be defined as: God’s life, power, and righteousness given to us by unmerited favor. He illuminates our path with favor and is giving us His grace to attain and walk in everything He has promised to us.
We were designed to reveal God’s glory. We are being awakened in our Spirit and our natural senses to perceive that He is in everything we hear, taste, see, touch, and even smell. These are keys the Lord is giving us to shift the way that we think in this day and prepare the way for His glory to flow.
Holy Spirit is constantly pointing us back to the Father. He makes Abba real to us, and when we honor the point and are led by His impulses, it ultimately changes our perspective in everything.
St. Ireneaus has been quoted as saying, “The glory of God is man fully alive.” In the life of a Kingdom son or daughter, it is the Father’s desire that we be fully alive, filled with joy and hope through the power of Holy Spirit.
Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.”
It is our job as Believers, as sons and daughters of Yahweh, to wake up to the greatness we carry, for it is Christ within us that is the hope of glory. He wants to flood the earth with His presence…through you.
For the earth (you, me, us, our families) will be filled (as we are saturated in His presence and inwardly transformed) with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. -Habbakuk 2:14
What is Kingdom Culture? Simply put, it is a culture centered around King Yahshua (Jesus), with our lives focused on cultivating a relationship with Him. It is only in this culture that we can be awakened to who we truly are and what His Kingdom was meant to look like.
The word "culture" has its origins in the word “cultivate,” meaning to prepare and tend, as in a garden. As our hearts are prepared and tended for the Lord, we reap a faith-rest life.
The Lord is calling us into a place of rest. He’s about to do something miraculous as we are completely yielded to Him, trusting in who He is and what He is doing.
As Believers, there is only one way to respond to the amazing things the Lord is doing in our midst, and that is to rejoice with those who are rejoicing. We know that if He moves on their behalf, He will do the same for you.
Abba’s sons and daughters are being awakened, becoming aware of who they are and the authority they possess. We are His image bearers, filled with His nature, likeness and imagination.
Psalm 23: We can all quote it, and thousands of messages have been preached out of this well known chapter. Even with that, it remains a living word, because Holy Spirit, the revealer of all truth, has inspired it and continues to bring a timeless revelation that is wrapped in glory.
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Psalm 23 paints a beautiful picture of the love and care that our Father has for us. He is The Good Shepherd, we are the sheep of His pasture, and He is worthy of our trust.
There is an invitation into more… more of discovering who you are and who you are to be for your tribe. We need each other to go where the Father is taking us, into what no eye has ever seen and no ear has ever heard. We are one people, becoming one sound.
Beloved ones, God has called us to live a life of freedom in the Holy Spirit. But don’t view this wonderful freedom as an opportunity to set up a base of operations in the natural realm. Freedom means that we become so completely free of self-indulgence that we become servants of one another, expressing love in all we do. Galatians 5:13-14 TPT
It is so imported for us to be seated as a son, to be sent from a Father, and to stand as an oak tree, displaying His majesty.
Trials and storms will come to challenge the word of the Lord within us. But when we shift our perspective, those trials are actually meant to authenticate the word and put the storms in order.
Even when the kingdoms of this world are shaking, Yahweh’s sons and daughters are filled with hope, because He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (II Timothy 1:7 NKJV)
We can walk through anything - the good and the bad - when we face life with the perspective of Christ in the earth.
A Believer's role is not to be focused on the reward, but focused on obedience and being led by His voice.
Believers, those who are led by the impulses of Holy Spirit, have the unique ability to hear, see and perceive what the Lord is saying in this day. We were designed to be connected to the heart of the Father and know how to respond in any day, any circumstance. That connection can only come by His Spirit. “God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, He has revealed to us His inmost heart and deepest mystery through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things.” I Cor. 2:10
There’s nothing like a political move that can divide a nation, even Believers. We need to know exactly how to respond in a time like this, having the eyes and heart of Christ, keeping our focus on the unity that He prayed for us to walk in.
Before His crucifixion, Yahshua’s prayer over us was that we would experience the same unity with Him that He had with our Father, and He also prayed that we would have that same unity with one another. If we can truly grasp the meaning of the words, ”Our Father,” our world will be different.
The same rain that falls on the earth and causes the flower to grow, also causes the weed to grow. Likewise, the rain of Yahweh's Presence that falls on the soil of our heart, exposes the seeds of both belief and unbelief that we have sown.
"When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the Word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul." - Proverbs 29:18
What is it to inherit the Jacob Generation blessing? What does it look like, from both heaven and earth’s perspective?
Steward the word Yahweh has spoken to you and believe it based on His promise, not the circumstances around you. The day will come when that word will bear fruit in your life.
You will never occupy the seat of peace, authority, and blessing you were actually designed for, if you are not first willing to vacate the seat of the scornful.
In Proverbs 3:5, we are encouraged to “trust in the Lord completely.” In this particular scripture, the Hebrew word for trust is “Betach,” which translates into our language as “for sure, certainly, of course.” This understanding of trust is the foundation of belief, where we can say “yes” to what Yahweh is saying, even when we don’t understand.
The resurrection of the Christ has been called the greatest story ever told. That’s certainly true, but the story was not meant to end there. The responsibility to announce that the story continues, lies with us…the sons and daughters of Yahweh, Almighty God. We are to carry this story as we move from glory to glory in His ever-increasing Kingdom.
Are we truly believers? What would change in our lives if we truly believe the promises of Yahweh and are fully convinced that we are His sons and daughters?
"Do not plant two kinds of seed in your vineyard; if you do, not only the crops you plant but also the fruit of your vineyard will be defiled." - Deuteronomy 22:9 NIV
Yahweh’s plan for His Kingdom on this earth has been woven throughout time and eternity, often hidden but always released in the “now.” What we measure as time, He measures as “now.” His Kingdom is not bound to the past or anticipated for the future, it is now. The release of His Kingdom continues on through us, in our day…in our “now.”
What is our response when bad things happen? When Yahweh’s sons and daughters take the position that no matter what takes place, our Father is good and His goodness surely will be seen in the land of the living, great faith is produced. We are not moved by the circumstances around us, but by the security that is within us.
This week, Eva Gerlecz shares openly and honestly about her journey into a deeper level of trusting Abba. Her story is so encouraging, reminding us that He is a good Father and He is worthy of our trust.
One encounter with the Lord will completely change the atmosphere around you. He causes the impossible to become possible, the hopeless to be filled with hope, and the weary to be strengthened. When He shows up, everything changes and there’s no way that we can stay the same.
Rest….waiting…stepping away from the anxious worry of today with its fear and frustration and into believing that Yahweh’s presence is truly enough. He really is who He says He is, and He really will do what He promised.
If we are going to be able to perceive and see the glory and magnificence of Yahweh on full display, we must fix our gaze on Him. We are mirrors, reflecting what we are looking at. If we can see His glory, we can reflect it.
What does it look like when the Lordship of Holy Spirit is prevalent in our lives? We will know true freedom…and everything will testify of His goodness and power wherever He is made Lord.
II Cor.3:16-17 TPT: "But the moment one turns to the Lord with an open heart, the veil is lifted and they see. Now, the 'Lord' I’m referring to is the Holy Spirit, and wherever he is Lord, there is freedom."
