Resilience is a non-profit organization that advocates against violence: more specifically, domestic violence. This week on The Share Chair Podcast we meet freshman Patrick Goran. Patrick recently lost his grandmother, which took a toll on many of his family members, namely his grandpa. In hopes of lifting his spirits, Patrick reached out to his grandpa with a letter. Soon, one letter became two, then three and four, until he was writing a letter to him daily. Touched by the letters, his grandfather shared them with his friends, who then spread the love of Patrick's writing. Now, Patrick has published the letters as a book: "Letters To Grandpa". After getting cut from the freshman boys soccer team, Adam tried out for the cross country team. This year, he made it to the state meet. After getting cast in the high school musical production in his EIGHTH grade year, he assumed a speaking part would be easy his freshman year, but he landed in the chorus to train his voice and dancing chops. The setback, if we're to call it that, worked. He just landed a major role in this year's spring musical.

Vulnerability is just one of those weird traits; a person doesn't often understand its power until he/she experiences it. We tend to think of it as weakness; instead, it nourishes us and grows our confidence.
