Forest Park Wildcast
Our 6th episode of the Forest Park WildCAST comes from Roberto, Casey and Carlos. Roberto shares information and thoughts on what being a wrestler entails. Casey interviews Mrs. Thoen about our athletics grade policy and gets student feedback. Carlos interviews Mrs. Koenig & Mrs. Gorak on what it's like to teach with and without a SMART Board in the classroom.
Our 5th episode of the season comes from Savannah, Mikayla and Haneen. Savannah interviews some 7th graders about what it's like adjusting to Forest Park. Mikayla asks some students to review movies they've seen recently. Haneen interviews some staff to find out more about the dress code policy at Forest Park.
Our 4th episode of the season comes from Paul, Jake and Emmanuel. Paul conducts a musical preferences poll in our class and shares his findings. Jake interviews some students in New Media and gets their feedback on what they are learning. Emmanuel interviews Mrs. Mohr and find out more about her position as an art teacher at Forest Park.
This third episode of the FP WildCAST season 3 has Megan, Jasleen and Caroyln sharing their stories they worked on in New Media class. Carolyn gets students thoughts on the new Harry Potter movie. Jasleen interviews one of our 8th Grade Science teachers, Mrs. Laffin. Megan gets some feedback on school spirt at Forest Park.
In episode 2 of the 3rd Season of the Forest Park New Media WildCAST, Nathan, Tyler and Ali share their stories from Forest Park. Ali talks about the computer classes at Forest Park. Tyler interviews one of the cafeteria workers and Nathan finds out more about what it means to be part of the Forest Park Student Council.
This episode of the Forest Park WildCAST kicks off our 3rd "season." New Media students enrolled in Mr. Kafka's 8th Grade New Media class at Forest Park Middle School in Franklin, WI have been busy creating GROUP podcasts. This episode comes from Mike, Joe, and Jake Mike starts off with what the New Media class is. Joe interviews some 7th graders on what it's like to transition to the middle school. Jake wraps things up with talking to our basketball coach, Mr. Sievert.
Our 8th grade New Media students have been hard at work putting together their segments for the FPWildCAST. In this episode, Megan reviews the Girls' Basketball Season and Josh gives his thoughts on being a member of the FP Jazz Band. They talk about what brought them to Forest Park and what they are excited about for this year. After our semester switch, we come back online with all new segments from new students enrolled in the NEW MEDIA course at Forest Park Middle School. This episode takes on a sports theme. In this episode, Colton & Colin give their predictions for the NCAA tournament. Andy looks at how the Boston Red Sox are doing during Spring Training. Madison interviews Forest Park's Coach Thoen about the girls' volleyball team.
In this episode, Randy talks with a student about the "no hats in school rule." Dan interviews Mrs. Mohr, one of our art teachers at Forest Park. Roman talks with another wrestling teammate about getting ready for the wrestling season.
In this episode, Matt interviews one of our PE teachers, Mr. Bauer. Derek and Nathan talk about their thoughts on whether or not cell phones should be allowed in school. Sondaya wraps things up by discussing the difference between a fashion and a trend. Enjoy!

And finally, we have a surprise singing segment from Mrs. Kanczewski's 7th Grade Social Studies students.

The Forest Park WildCAST is a podcast put on by students enrolled in the 8th Grade New Media course at Forest Park Middle School in Franklin, WI. This first episode was put together by the instructor, Mr. Kafka. Mr. Kafka sits down with Assistant Principal Mr. Foeckler and Principal Mr. Lesar to get their views on rolling into the 2008-2009 school year.
