What if our efforts to pursue knowledge in discipleship unintentionally create barriers to faith? How can we, as leaders, foster a church culture that emphasizes not just understanding Scripture, but living it out authentically in community?
In this impactful episode, Brian Daniel interviews Larry Osborne, teaching pastor at North Coast Church, who shares practical wisdom on creating a healthy discipleship environment. They explore the need for balance between knowledge and obedience, the importance of reading Scripture in context, and how we might unknowingly become "accidental Pharisees" who add burdens rather than lifting them.
Larry also touches on encouraging trends in church culture, like a renewed hunger for Scripture and a desire for authentic, transparent relationships. This conversation is filled with insights for leaders passionate about nurturing a Christ-centered, welcoming church culture that both challenges and encourages. Join us to reflect on how we can lead in ways that break down barriers, build true community, and bring fresh life to discipleship.
