This is an experiment. I love poetry, I love performing. I get conscious about my face very often. So I'm here. Maybe I can finally be at home.
There are no human rights for doctors until they're considered human. Wrote this piece a few years ago. Waiting for a day when this will be irrelevant.
Did this reading only because Samina reminded me that she listens to this podcast (if you can call it that). This episode is for her. This is also the first time I have tried to structure an episode, let me know what you think.
Women are not all-powerful. They don't need to be. Give them the space to be human. Let them be.
This is a poem by Walt Whitman. I doubt that I've captured it's essence but well, I tried to contribute a verse. :)
Written on an APM prompt last year. This is probably one of the least dooming pieces I've written. Let me know if it gives you hope!

This is one of my many poems inspired by Ma. Will be making this a series because she is, and always will be my muse.
This was written a couple of years ago on a prompt by Airplane Poetry Movement. Had thought of doing a reading at the time of writing but somehow never did. I guess not showing my face really helps.
