In this Reckless Summer Nights episode, Spencer has seniors Jadd Hampton and Sophie Perez on the podcast to discuss the question of the night: "What if I don't feel God, even if I have a relationship with Him?"
New host Spencer Lee takes over the podcast and kicks it off with a recap of Rush Camp 2025. Joined by guests Aidan Bailey and James Deal, the guys talk about the eternal impact of the week, how they can build off of it moving forward, and what God has in store for Reckless in the upcoming year.
In this special edition for our 100th all-time student podcast, Charlie is joined by former podcast hosts Caleb Park and Avery Post. The three discuss the best things that they have seen through the podcast and the ways that the Lord has worked through it. "Until Jesus is enough, we will never find rest." This powerful statement begs the question: "If Jesus was all you had, would He be enough for you?"
As we discuss kicking off a new series, Charlie is joined by Seniors Cole Hancock and Skylar Parker. They talk about their experiences to prove the fact that you can be physically drained while being spiritually revived. In our exhausting lives, the rest that the world offers pales in comparison to the Holy Spirit within us who brings rest to our souls.
As we kick off a new series on Rest, we dive into Matthew 11:28-30 to find an invitation to take the yoke of Jesus upon us. In the midst of a stressed-out world, we find that allowing Jesus to teach us His way of life see's that we experience rest for our souls in the way that we are truly meant to as followers of Him.
In this sermon, we are taken back to Genesis to look at the life of Sarah, to see that the Lord was faithful to through her most difficult times. Through learning to trust in Him, we see that Sarah was able to build her faith around the fact that God was writing her story even when she couldn't see it. In the same way, God is writing your story, today.
This week, we are joined by our young adults pastor Todd Hampton, who takes us through the courageous life of David - a man who was after God's own heart. Knowing that God fights our battles, we are reminded to identify the giants in our lives so that we can surrender them to Him.
In this series, based on the "Hall of Faith" in Hebrews 11, we look at the lives of three different heroes of the Faith. Tonight, we look to the life of Daniel to see that a faithful walk devoted to God is a testimony to those watching.

Based on 1 Timothy 4:7-8, students Charlie, Andrew and Bella discuss being broken down in repentance and built up in godliness for spiritual growth. They talk about the conviction of surrendering control, repenting of our worldliness, and committing to a reckless pursuit of walking with Jesus as a high school student.
This weeks topic of discussion was put to a vote amongst the students. In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul addresses a depraved church in Corinth with the same lessons that we look through tonight to find the importance and how-to in resisting sexual sin. Society has placed us at a disadvantage, but we have victory in Christ.
After witnessing the Lord answer our prayers of renewal, our student team is committing to training ourselves for godliness and accountability as we walk toward Jesus together in 2025.
Charlie is joined by Junior Tate Ford, and Freshman Jacob Barnes to discuss what it looks like to get off the throne of our own lives through the act of repentance. In response to Ken's message, the students discuss things like the culture and lack of reverence in it, what it looks like to genuinely fear God as a student, and what God's discipline looks like in our lives. As we continue in our Renew series, Ken Buwalda shares five key truths with us to reveal God's character as it relates to sin, justice and His holiness. The question now is: "How do we respond to this?" Our answer to this question determines the course of our lives.
In this episode, Charlie is joined by Ethan Davis and Brennan Rice. The three guys talk about trying to "clean yourself up" before talking to God, and how He is the one who truly cleans us through Jesus. They further the conversation by also discussing seeking closeness to God, and what it looks like to consecrate ourselves as we seek closeness and intimacy with Him as a student.
In week two of our Renew series, we take a deep dive in what it looks like for the Lord to renew the way that we approach Him. As we look at Scripture, we find that because of the hope that we have in Jesus, we can approach God with confidence. This hope is “a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.” – Hebrews 6:19". We also find what happens when you approach God and remain in his presence: You become a friend of His. If we are to seek renewal, this is what we strive for: intimacy with the King of the Universe.
In this episode, Charlie is joined by guests Chloe Trottier and Cole Hancock as they breakdown the sermon and go deeper into student-led discussion on what it means to be in awe of God. The students discuss things like: where they have personally experienced being in awe of Him, what it practically looks like to offer our lives to Him as students, and good places to read in Scripture so that we may meditate on how great our God is.
In the episode as we kick off 2025, Reckless starts a new series called "Renew". Together, we are seeking a renewal of our hearts toward Jesus so that we may be prepared for whatever He has in store for us in the new year. In this sermon specifically, we look at God's interactions with Moses and the Israelites in the book of Exodus to get a better look at how great, how holy, and how awe-inspiring He truly is. God, renew the way that we view you.
This week, as we continue in our Christmas series called "Joyful" based on Romans 15:13, we look at the Joy of Serving. Diving into Jesus' first public miracle in John 2 from the perspective of the servants, we find that serving sets the stage for the miracle. Yet, we also find the true miracle of Christmas, that is completely underserved by us, comes from the life and sacrifice of the one true servant, Jesus.

In this week's Student Discussion, Avery and Charlie turn into a couple of Scrooges. Perhaps because no one joined them as a guest. They dump on New Year's Resolutions, classic Christmas movies, songs sung by Mariah Carey, and other Christmas traditions. Fortunately, they turn their frowns upside down when it comes to Tyler's message on the dragon in the story of the nativity. They talk about the spiritual and physical realm, how they have faced spiritual battles in their lives, and what to do about it. They also invite students out for the last Reckless of the year this Sunday night.
Typically, we view the Biblical story of the nativity as cute and sweet, with a little baby and some shepherds and wisemen. But, did you know that the Christmas story in the Bible involves a dragon and war? Sometimes, we need to be reminded not just of what's happening physically, but what is happening behind the scenes in the spiritual world. The birth of Jesus was so important that an enemy was ready to attack.
In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Charlie talk with Hannah and Caleb about their favorite Christmas traditions and what they love about this time of year. They also talk about Mary and Joseph's role in the Christmas story and how that impacts their own faith.

More importantly, they talk about how we are called to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. How have they experienced God restore their life? They challenge each other and the listener to prioritize their walk with Jesus and spend time with Him each day.

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Charlie talk with Jackson and Asher about our new series, GOD GOT ME. They discuss what thing they can't live without, the struggle to remove idols they have in their lives, and how they are learning to find everything they need in their walk with Jesus. In the last week of our BE THE CHURCH series, we look at one more key aspect that makes the Church the greatest movement ever. When God is working and moving, other people outside the faith are drawn into it and are changed because of it.

"Spiritual battles require spiritual armor." We're all in a battle with the enemy - how do we fight the fight faithfully?
What is the difference between the worlds love and God's love? In 1 John we see a picture of what it is like to be loved by God.
Romans 8:29 calls us as believers to be "conformed to the image of Jesus." This means that our entire Christian lives we are called to grow to look more like him so that we can be a light to the world. How do we grow in christlikeness?
This week in our BE THE CHURCH Series, we look at an important aspect that makes the Church unique...community. We were not meant to live alone, and the Church is meant to be a body of people unified together.

How does Jesus respond to our doubts? Does he shun us away and become angry with us? Does he slap us over the head with Bible verse and tell us to have more faith? In John 20, we see Jesus respond to the doubts that the disciple Thomas was struggling with. If you're having doubts, know that Jesus does not turn us away, and he is not afraid of our questions.
In our last week of our series "Live Sent", we talk through the question of what is our mission and purpose as believers? How do we run the race of the Christian life well? In Acts 20:24 Paul proclaims, "24 But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."
What is God's view for sex and sexuality? This past Wednesday we addressed this tough topic at Revolution ultimately to see what God's word has to say on this matter.

All we know is a world full of sin, disease, and death. But one day, all of that will be defeated once and for all!
The message of Jesus is expanding. The early church is growing. But then someone rises up to stop the church. Is God's grace big enough to change even the "worst sinner"?

Part 1 of Amnesia is all about the question we all are asking; "who am I?" The answer is something that we used to know. God put it in us but sin has clouded our memory and caused to forget our identity. But Jesus calls us to remember who He made us to be!
The story of Jonah is one that mirrors our own. So often, we know what God is calling us to, and we run the other way. Instead of giving up on us, God continues to pursue us with his love and grace so that we can get where we're supposed to be to experience life.
Broken promises happen all the time. Others break promises to us. We break promises to others. Typically when someone goes back on their word, especially multiple times, you are written off and ruin a relationship in the process. If this is how relationships work, then what happens when we break a promise to God? One of Jesus' disciples has some experience with that and learns something about grace that applies to all of our lives.
We all mess up and we all fall short. We sin. Our natural reaction in those moments is to hide. To run away. It's the ultimate game of "hide & seek" that we play with God. It's a game that's been going on from the begin of the human race. We sin, and God seeks. The problem is we will always lose. The an exhausting game when you play it against the one who knows everything. So what if we stopped running away from God, and started running to Him?
In every fight there is offense and defense. In this fight against evil, God has given some powerful weapons to claim the victory we have in Jesus.
We get hit by things in our life that knock us down all the time. In fact we are in a fight daily. There is someone trying to take us out, and he can be relentless. Take heart, because God has already won this fight for us. Through Jesus we can overcome. So when the devil comes at you, you can simply say "not today".
We may trick ourselves into thinking we are good people. After all, we do good things from time to time. The problem is that we also do some bad things too. Specifically, we sin. This means we have fallen short of good. But God gives us Jesus. And Jesus gives us His perfection. Now instead of just being good, we can be made perfect.
Our sin has caused us to have no future and lose all hope. But God has given us Jesus. Now we have a future and hope for today.

Once we get this new life in Jesus, sometimes we get comfortable or tripped up from actually experiencing it. We sit still. God is calling us to move and follow Jesus in the good things he wants us to experience as we show others who He is.
Because of sin there is a broken relationship between God and man. Now our fate is death,... BUT GOD offers us life through His Son Jesus. He invites us to take our spiritual breath back and restore what was once dead.
We all know that life is depressing, with short lived happiness, and full of disappointments. But that's only half the story.
