As AI enters the classrooms, are we all going to become lazy and maybe lacking critical thinking?
Dean Batson, a lecturer at Arizona State University, will address the issue. Dean teaches communication, persuasion, and consumer behavior and works with students of all ages, mostly Gen Z.
In this interview, Dean will highlight what we’re getting wrong about AI in education and specifically:
2) How to teach students to spot bias, think deeper, and still own their ideas
3) What happens when people treat AI like a shortcut instead of a skill
He concludes that students today aren’t “cheating” with AI, they’re trying to survive a system that hasn’t caught up.

Topics covered: AI, artificial intelligence, critical thinking, communication skills, adaptability, super power, spot bias, think deep, shortcuts, cheating, educational methodology, university, high school learning, good student

Are you looking for a way to step out of chronic mental illness by resetting your brain?
In this episode, we meet Kathryn A. Walker, a former ER and ICU nurse turned CRNA and CEO of Revitalist Lifestyle and Wellness, (with clinics in Florida and Tennessee).
Kathryn has witnessed firsthand the limitations of our current mental health system, where patients are often left feeling stigmatized, unsupported, not listened to by doctors, and chronically ill with a ‘one size fits all approach that does not help them.
Through years of intensive training as a psychiatric nurse and anesthetist, Kathryn noticed how deeply connected all our organs are to one another and to our brain. She saw firsthand the emotional toll of physical ailment, and conversely, the physiological manifestations of psychological trauma. And she learned how to give the brain a reset in a fast, safe way.
This conversation with Kathryn may give you hope. She is a passionate advocate for psychedelic-assisted therapy as a powerful tool for healing. She believes that by treating the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – we can finally start to address the root causes of mental health issues and achieve lasting remission.
While research is ongoing in this field of science, its potential will revolutionize psychiatry.
In this episode, you'll learn:
Don't miss this groundbreaking episode! Feel free to contact her at her clinic to understand if you are suitable for this kind of treatment. An initial consultation with Kathryn costs less than $50.

All the substances mentioned by Kathryn are to be used solely under strict medical supervision, in medical settings and after a thorough assessment by a trained professional expert in the fields of psychiatric and psychedelics. Studies are under way and podcasts such as Huberman Lab have explored the potential pf psychedelics. We refer you to those episodes to expand your knowledge on where the science is at the moment regarding magic mushrooms, ketamines and so on. Are you living an ethical life? Sounds like a strange question, but after much talking about living in a way that is aligned with our beliefs, we could go deeper and discover if they underpin a way of living that is good for us AND for the others.
In an age of relativism where many think that what they believe is the absolute truth, that impossible to discuss, in a world where there is no longer right or wrong (or is there? Maybe it has always been there) it’s fascinating to discuss an ethical life from a different point of view.
For this conversation I was honored to host the Ethics Ninja, professor, Rabbi and Ted talk speaker Yonason Goldson. Together we go deep into the realm of what an ethical life might look like in our families, at work and - why not - in businesses and governments.
Tune in to find out what it takes to live ethically, doing good and taking responsibly and ultimately experiencing a much richer and more fulfilling life - while allowing others to do the same.

Eric sat in the aircraft, his sweaty hands gripping the seat rests, his breathing accelerating and his whole being dreading the rest of the flight. As turbulence hit the airplane he had a panic attack. It was not his first one - flying phobia had been his companion for many years. Yet this time, Eric Goodman, a clinical psychologist specialized in treating anxiety disorders, decided to follow his own advice.
He stopped leaning into the tempting suggestions given by his anxious mind and did exactly the opposite, eventually overcoming his flying phobia. He let go of controlling or avoiding the feeling, and let it be.
Anxiety has been a survival mechanism for humans throughout history, yet modern society has seen a rise in anxiety about experiencing anxiety itself.
In this highly interesting conversation, Eric Goodman, Ph.D lecturer at Calpol State University, will shed much light on what anxiety really is and on why only two types of people never have anxiety: psychopaths and dead people.
In the end we hope you will agree that demonizing anxiety cause more problems than it solves, and with self compassion coupled with exposure therapy we can minimize it and live a normal life.

In this episode, we explore the common yet often overlooked challenge women face: losing themselves in the pursuit of love and belonging. We’ll delve into the subtle ways societal expectations and personal choices can lead to a diminished sense of self. This is not to say that we should not pursue having a family and children: quite the contrary - they are fundamental; however, in many cultures, particularly macho cultures, the woman is expected to submit to the man and totally forget about her free time, interests and passions.
She will even feel guilty for taking a day off or not being busy serving others 24/7…sounds familiar?
Our guest, best selling author Alicia Rodriguez, shares her personal journey of self-discovery and the steps she took to reclaim her power and purpose.
Her new book, ‘The shaman’s wife’ has a message: love is boundless, but it must begin with nurturing oneself.
You will hear her story of how she married a powerful Shaman and then realized that she had surrendered her power and agency to him, eventually moving on to reclaim her true purpose and identity. Alicia wants to help those who are in a similar situation.
Together, we’ll uncover the signs of losing your identity, discuss the impact on your relationships, and provide actionable strategies to prioritize self-care without feeling guilty. Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom, a career woman, or somewhere in between, this episode offers invaluable insights and inspiration to help you create a life that fulfills both your personal and family-related aspirations.
Tune in to discover:
Even the commandments contained in the Bible, for those who believe in them, ask to ‘love your neighbour as you love yourself’ - so self love comes first and it comes with respect and nourishing our own interests too. Let’s redefine what it means to be a strong, confident woman who prioritizes both love and self.
When a woman is happy and able to follow her own interests (depending on which seasons of life she is experiencing) everything will be smoother at home.

Having babies has to do with a lot more than labor and birth: our health, microbiome, mental health and mindset are also important.
Esther Lawton, Yoga teacher, RTT therapist, homeopath, NHS nurse, will explain how we take on beliefs from our environment without even realising it: for example if our Mother felt that having children had been too hard, we carry that feeling in our inner mind and it might make it impossible to conceive, because our subconscious is trying to protect us.
We will also find out what happens when we carry fried after miscarrying a baby, and how having that conversation with the baby to let him go in peace matters.
Years of cases and experience have taught Esther how women live pregnancy, infertility and all the problems that might occur while living through them, especially if we keep giving and ignoring our needs, until we become depleted.
Studies show how effective hypnosis is to prepare our mind to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy.

If you are feeling something blocking you from achieving from you want, a sense of never being good enough, not feeling loved, wanted, appreciated and you even block life from giving you good gifts, this episode is for you.
Helen Buchanan, an Advanced Conversational Hypnotist in Australia, will help us to understand the deep reasons why so many of us as adults can’t progress and seemingly get stuck into a series of frustrating and fulfilling relationships, careers, and experiences.
While you listen to the heartfelt experience of Helen’s childhood, feel free to use this time to ask yourself if maybe some of your issues are due to your own years as a youngster, feeling unwanted and unloved by important figures in your life.
With Helen we celebrate today a victory over the ranting negative committee that keeps telling us we are not good enough, so we can simply live in the present and be there for ourselves, and not just for others.
In other words, your new life can begin now, because - guess what - you are in charge of it - not your past emotions!
And if you need some help detangling those emotions, helps is at hand with hypnosis, art therapy, NLP and coaching - just to name a few possible modalities to get better.

Why so many men today feel depressed, frustrated and suicidal? What are the three elements that make a man happy and satisfied? In this conversation with coach and hypnotist Paul Wilson we will delve into the male brain to see what makes a man tick and what turns him off.
Discover the actions you can take today to enhance your relationships with males both at home and at work.
Learn how to effectively communicate so that you don’t end up pairing up with the wrong man, and then separating when you both realise you are not a good match at all or you have not mastered the three important skills that sustain a relationship.
Discover what makes a relationship work - and that it’s not an automatic consequence of sharing a home. Quite the contrary, it involves a lot of work from both parts: team work.
Also, understand what it means for the two of you when you bring children into your relationship and your world. Are you aware of the changes you will have to make and ready to embrace a new role? Or are you at risk of becoming a parent by accident and then hating the experience, causing issues to your offspring?
These are all important considerations to make when starting up relationship - and not when you are already living together!

Are you looking for answers and daily tools to help you with your feelings of being lost, lacking purpose, feeling you are not enough and even self sabotaging your own success? This interview will give you all that and much more.
Join us as Madgalena Lyle takes us to a journey into the emotions that block our success and inner harmony. Using channeling, RTT, and advanced conversational hypnosis, Magdalena unveils the reasons why we simply cannot move on and live the life we really want, and the fact that they are inside ourselves.
Using tools that specifically rewire our neurons and shed light on the real stumbling block we have not yet addressed, we can reach for our inner mind, our very soul and embrace a whole concept of us as a being who is loved by the Universe and is here to thrive.
Madgalena quotes from Gary Lee (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jIUIcYQbBQ)
One of the tools we mention in this episode is the use of journalling. Before you brush this off as something designed only for women, or a woo-woo idea, please bear in mind that journaling is a brief yet highly effective science-supported habit.
If you seek for more information on an effective way of using journaling and you like data-based research on it, please go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAZn9dF3XTo.
In this episode, Professor Andrew Huberman from Stanford University outlines a specific writing protocol shown in hundreds of scientific studies to significantly improve immediate and long-term health. Journal writing, in fact, affects neuroplasticity (brain rewiring) and brain function in the short and long term.
These brain changes positively impact our physical health, including our system's immune function and thus our ability to combat infections, improve sleep, reduce feelings of physical and emotional pain, lower anxiety, and bring about healing from traumas.
Just think how much easier your life can be, and how much clarity you can achieve, when you learn to be still and listen to your own thoughts, instead of giving in to the huge pressure that activists, social media, marketing companies, movies and adverts put on us on a daily basis.
Learn what you really want from life and why, find your passions and bring light into problems that seem unsolvable.
If you liked this episode, please click on 'like' and share it so that more people can find our little channel and be helped on their way to live the life they dreamed of and that had never materialised.

Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and sensed a part of you was missing? Are you no longer the fully whole, vibrant, and courageous person you once were? Often it takes a fall to realise you were meant to soar high all along. Don’t accept emotional struggles as a life sentence. In You Are Not Depressed. You Are Un-Finished, Dr. Mehran helps you analyze your emotions and your body and go from managing symptoms to living abundantly. Learn how depression and anxiety are our own signals, saying, “Wake up, claim your life.”
In our heartfelt interview, Dr Mehran, a US-based psychologist, psychoanalyst and transformation leader, explains the deep mechanisms of what we know as depression and shares the first three principles of his seven Emotional Rights™.
You will learn that depression is not the cause of your unhappiness. Depression is the result of an unfulfilled life. It’s time to claim your rights.

Let's talk about men's mental health. Men are taught to keep quiet about their issues, button up, hide up problems, and even as victims of abuse, their own families tend to shove their issues under the carpet. Men are culturally not allowed to express their emotions as women do with tears, words, art, counselling and so on, many of them find alternative ways to dull their pain and some of these methods are self-destructive.
What are some hidden symptoms of depression, other than self-loathing, self harm, lack of self confidence?
In this episode I interview Immigration Attorney Hèctor Quiroga. Hèctor grew up in Columbia where a series of events, including abuse, created all the triggers above. Even after creating what we could see as a dream career as an Attorney and Law professor, Hèctor continued to doubt his own capacities and keep all his emotional 'skeletons in the cupboard' locked in. This was partly because of the macho culture he grew up with.
We will hear how Hèctor eventually overcame his emotional problems and created a truly gratifying life. Hector's fondest wish is to encourage others, especially men, to overcome their own emotional issues. The principles he shares in this audio and video podcast episode are available to you in his book, 'Prove them wrong'.
Prove Them Wrong: One Immigrant’s 10-Year Journey from Bankrupt to Millionaire is the inspirational story of an immigrant's pursuit of the American Dream – a trajectory fraught with unparalleled obstacles and exceptional triumphs. A story of embracing your path, believing in your potential, and living life to the fullest – no matter the odds.

Coming soon: Discovering how to balance pleasure, gain and virtue, with best-selling author Ryan A. Bush.
Imagine you go to a fancy restaurant with your friends and you anticipate a fine meal. The waiter approaches you and asks what would you like to eat. You have read the large menu in front of you and you start, 'Well, I certainly don't want any carbs. I also don't eat legumes. I don't like Indian food. I can't have nuts, I'm allergic....and I don't want to gain weight...'
How can the waiter give you a fine meal if you can't even explain what you want? And yet many times this is exactly how we live life. We wish things were not so bad. We complain of everything that is not going well. But we have not quite figured out what it is that we want. Therefore our mind cannot create it.
Think about it: everything is created first as a thought, as energy, vibrations, molecules, electricity, and it becomes then stored as such in our brain. Only then we can start dreaming about it, making plans and strategies and eventually get close and closer to it.
As long as we keep thinking about what we don't want, or RAS cannot help us to focus on what we want.
And there is plenty of literature about this (Stephen Covey, 'Begin with the end in mind') and science, too!
Twenty years ago the University of Aberdeen conducted a peer reviewed study which showed that what we visualise can improve the quality of our health in terms of cancer healing. When Annabella Zeiddar was a child, the nurse who measured the weight of all the children in her school assumed that she was overweight because she didn't fit in the charts. Annabella was immediately put on a diet, but in reality was that she was simply quite tall for her age. This led to a life where the perception of food was distorted.
In our interview we will discuss:
Annabella has been featured in Forbes and has had mentions in Good Housekeeping, The Guardian and Stylist magazine. She is an RTT therapist, an NLP practitioner and coach and Timeline therapist. Feel free to ask her any questions by visiting her here: annabellazeiddar.com

I remember reading an amazing story of love, dedication and healing in my RTT world some years ago. I was so inspired by it that I mentioned it to many of my friends and clients as it shows the immense power that hypnosis has to remove unhelpful beliefs. In this specific case, my colleague Rachel Farnsworth was then a newly qualified hypnotist and she decided to try to help her daughter, who was 14 at the time and had been diagnosed with juvenal idiopathic arthritis when she was just one year old.
After years of pain, injections, steroids, medications side effects, nausea, beign unable to use her joints properly and being told she would never heal, Rachel's daughter sat there thinking 'All I need to do is close my eyes while mum relaxes me.' But the outcome of her RTT session was so profound that after the session, her body relaseased the root causes of her agony, and then the pain itself simply vanished. Years later, she is a healthy hair dresser with no symptoms at all, who has been signed off by her doctors. What happened?
Put it simply, with the hypnotic process Rachel found out the cause of the issue and helped her daughter to let it go, so she was free to feel well again. Find out how the emotions and perception of a tiny baby had powerfully shaped her beliefs to the point of creating a mesmerising and painful disease so she could fit into the world as she understood it.

It happens to a lot of couples: one day she is absolutely fine, healthy and adorable, and then suddenly she is in pain, or has anxiety, irritability and all sort of strange symptoms that make you wonder if the previous playful kitten has transformed overnight into an angry lioness.
What is this and why you should not worry that she doesn't love you anymore?
These are some of the symptoms of PMDD -a condition shared by over 10% of women in child-bearing age, which displays a frustrating arrays of symptoms that modern science explains with hormonal imbalance. However, in our chat with Chloe Jimenez Peters, who has a background of years at medical school, then hypnosis, RTT and coaching, we will discover that the reason for PMDD is actually emotional, and specifically unresolved trauma.
You will find out what exactly happens when our hormones fluctuate and how to resolve the issue with self care and trauma informed therapy.

When Karin Hill's husband of 37 years was tragically murdered ten years ago, she experienced a deep trauma. Her heart was racing all day long and her pressure went up - and she remained in that high alert state for weeks and weeks. It was going to kill her.
Doctors prescribed anti depressants, and they didn't help. After four months, doctors were still unable to stop Karin's symptoms. Talking therapy didn't help either.
One night Karin remembered something about hypnosis and the body-mind connection that she had learned years before. She immediately made up a 20 minutes self-hypnosis in her mind and changed the haunting picture in her mind into a good one.
The day after she felt well for the first time in months, and has remained well ever since - so today she is able to share her remarkable recovery story, as part of her mission to help those who went through trauma and have tried everything, to no avail.
Truly the body keeps the score! Prepare to be inspired by this touching experience that will show you the amazing power of our mind. The healing power we are seeking for is found within ourselves.

I remember a song from Bee Gees: "How can you mend a broken heart" which was about the end of a love story. I always wondered: is it actually possible to heal our shuttered self?
It's difficult to describe the heartbreak, shock, numbness and feeling of loss that happen when a serious or long-term relationship ends. Our future, the life we envisioned with our partner vanish in front of our eyes. We might feel broken, rejected, abandoned, dead inside, hopeless, alone, angry or bitter. We might have thought that this person was our soulmate and we might think that we will never find another relationship that is as satisfying as this was.
Some of us end up in toxic relationships, too. They accepted to be in them because deep down, they didn't believe that they deserved any better. They had no trust in themselves.
In this heart-felt interview with Beatrice Zamfir, a relationship coach and hypnotist based in the UK, we will discuss all the aspects to consider when we find ourselves alone. Not only that, but she will explain how by working with Advanced Conversational Hypnosis (ACH) we can shift to a lighter, easier state, filled with peace, hope and understanding - a new self.
Beatrice has been nominated as the Mental Health Specialist of the year for 2023/2024 at London Prestige Awards. This is a great honour and a testament to her dedication and hard work in the field of mental health. Additionally, she is being recognised as one of the top 500 entrepreneurs dedicated to helping people in so many countries is a remarkable achievement.

Most people are aware that that behind successful individuals there are solid skills, hours of study and practice, commitment, stress, sacrifice and much more. We see the sparkly stars of victory, the trophies, the achievements and we might think, 'I wish I were like them!' But did you know that for some of these champions, dancers, performers, CEOs, pilots, musicians and corporate professionals life is not as rosy as it seems?
Life in many professions sees stress, depression, unfulfilment and lack of daily joy and satisfaction.
In this episode we will delve into the competitive life of dancers (and by extension into any other competitive profession), where the end all is often to WIN - and everything else risks to be erased.
We interview Italian-born and Belgium-based coach and RTT therapist Sara Nativi, who will share her story as a professional dancer who suffered from anorexia under the huge pressure she was put on for many years. During those years Sara learned how to listen to her body and experience a shift in wellness.
Today, Sara specialises in helping high achievers to move from stress to success and she shares in this episode what are the key points that may help us to achieve our grand dreams without losing our mental health.
Not only that, but we can also find joy in life again. And you can soon see us talking in my Youtube channel, too!

According to the W.H.O., depression affects about 5% of adults worldwide, or 280 million people, many of whom are women. Symptoms include feeling low and hopeless, guilty, irritable, unable to sleep and sometimes having thoughts about suicide. Depression can affect anyone as a single episode following a challenging time, or can be alternated to manic symptoms in bipolar disorders. We are going to talk only about recurrent depressive disorder, where at least two depressive episodes occur and the condition persists over time.
Despite the existence of many effective psychological and medical interventions, many people do not get treated for depression, and it is often found that medication is taken by some for many years, but the root cause of the issue is not lack of serotonin as we have been told for years. ‘There remains no clear evidence that serotonin levels or serotonin activity are responsible for depression, according to a major review of prior research led by UCL scientists. The new umbrella review – an overview of existing meta-analyses and systematic reviews – published in Molecular Psychiatry, suggests that depression is not likely caused by a chemical imbalance, and calls into question what antidepressants do. Most antidepressants are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), which were originally said to work by correcting abnormally low serotonin levels. There is no other accepted pharmacological mechanism by which antidepressants affect the symptoms of depression. Many people take antidepressants because they have been led to believe their depression has a biochemical cause, but this new research suggests this belief is not grounded in evidence. (Link to study: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/news/2022/jul/no-evidence-depression-caused-low-serotonin-levels-finds-comprehensive-review)
Self-care plays an important role in managing symptoms of depression and promoting overall well-being: doing enjoyable activities, staying connected, exercise, avoiding alcohol and drugs, talking to someone.
In my interview with Chloe Jimenez Peters we will hear about her depression story, which started when she was just a teen. Over decades, Chloe went through medication, therapy and shifts in behaviour, and while at medical school she was taught that genetics and chemicals were the only culprits behind disease.
But her beliefs were to encounter the reality of the unconscious mind and how it shapes our mental health - even creating depression as a nervous system response to triggers such as trauma.
Chloe ended up retraining in RTT, becoming trauma-informed and working with depressed patients who had lost all hope.
With her 1 and 2 month programs, depressed clients were able redesign their life and exit the cocoon where they had sheltered for many years.
How did this happen? Using hypnosis in combination with NLP, coaching and CBT, which is part of the RTT training that both myself and Chloe have undertaken.
After clearing up old beliefs of not being good enough, and reprocessing the past, we can effectively move to the present, stop ruminating the past and see ourselves as the powerful, spiritual being we are - magnificent people with purpose and with all life ahead of us.
We hold within us the power to heal, the power to change behaviours we don’t like, the power to achieve success like we never dared to dream before.

In this interview with California based coach and hypnotist Susan Urban, we gain more insights on anxiety and how straight forward it can be to heal from it. Susan herself suffered from anger and anxiety as a young child - who didn’t have the happiest childhood and also felt ashamed because of a speech impediment.
Susan has now completely recovered from her stutter and speaks fluidly - how did this happen?
In our conversation, Susan shares her insight into the "real" meaning behind mind/body connection and how people can utilise this understanding to empower themselves, just like she did, using the power of hypnosis and harnessing the unconscious to serve our higher purpose.

In this interview with Paris Beyk, we discuss how a distorted image of our body can create serious emotional problems. A widepsread issue in our society, hating how we look like is causing those affected to take drastic actions, just to realise they are still unhappy after changing looks, using various products, procedures and even surgery.
Listen out as Paris outlines the root cause of her issue and how she managed it - emerging full of peace and acceptance for her body. Hint: hypnosis was the most successful tool!

An eye-opening interview with RTT therapist Lucia Costin. We discuss how our view of the world is altered and we fear judgement from others when we live in a state of anxiety. Lucia digs deep into the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and how during the lockdowns we thought we were 'safe' from the very thing we all need so much: human contact.
Lucia also shares freely how to get over it - as of course nobody can solve a problem with the same mindset that created it.

Abuse is not love. Yet every year thousands of people end a relationship because the initial affection has been replaced by some form of abuse. For some it takes a few weeks to realise it's time to go. For others it takes years. Domestic abuse is a vile aspect of our society and we can't even scratch the surface of such a vaste topic. It affects all segments of society, ages and abilities. We could talk about it for years.
However, we will attempt to give concise guidelines of what is not a healthy relationship, and why our safety matters more than stability or other aspects that are keeping us stuck.
Our guest Chris Goode will share with us his thoughts about toxic, narcisistic, abusive people and why we need to take steps to keep ourselves safe.
Be careful not to label every partner with a diagnosis that is best left to professionals. Whatever the situation, disorder or condition is keeping you in fear and walking on eggshells, you need to prioritise your own safety.

When we experience a break up, it's natural to feel shocked, overwhelmed, sad, depressed and negative. We might feel that the world is crashing down and everything is bleak, including our future. What we thought would be a happy life with this person is gone and gosh, it hurts!
Is it possible to find healing and move on, and rebuild a new life? Yes. In this interview with Chris Goode, a break up recovery expert and hypnotherapist from California, we will discuss the aspects to consider so we can process the pain, grief, and then start lifting our head and heart - rebuilding our life one step at a time.

There are millions of people who suffer from an eating disorder, or ED. These are accompanied and triggered by several factors, including genetics, and may continue for 20-30 years - or even lead a person to death. While wading through tons of medical papers is beyond the scope of this podcast, I just wanted to balance the conversation a bit after talking so much about weight loss, and focus just on anorexia nervosa. Anorexia isn't a stand-alone condition, bur rather presents itself alongside specific common mental issues.

We continue the fascinating conversation about letting the weight go. In this interview, and we are now in part two, Steven will explore more areas that are connected with success in losing weight. One of them is concerned with how to deal with contionous offers of foods that we no longer want to eat.
Isn't that strange that when we stop smoking, our smoking 'friends' keep offering us cigarettes/vapes? And when we stop drinking, they get offended if we don't join them, despite knowing all too well we are done with alcohol?
Food is seen by many as a way to celebrate and reward, and thus it is incredibly difficult to stop eating sugary or processed foods that are present in shops, parties, celebrations, work areas, cafeterias, schools, nurseries, hospitals and in the house of our best friends.
Steven will cover way more than this and will give us a good idea of what it's like to be on the 'other side' and not feel guilty, but still enjoy food in a healthier way.
Feel free to ask any questions, share, make comments etc and please before embarking on any diet consult your doctor. We are not prescribing or diagnosing in this podcast, which has only educational purposes and relates to our experience.
In this interview with Steven Blake, the creator of OldFat2Go, we will go through many myths related to diets, calorie counting, why diets fail, the type of body we really want and much more. The refreshing outlook that Steven introduces here might be just what you were looking for and it's mindset based!
The same interview is published in full on Youtube, but we split it in episode one and two for the podcast only.
Feel free to ask any questions. However, please bear in mind that we are prescribing or diagnosing anything, therefore before embarking on any diet, please consult a registered/licenced dietician/nutritionist.
What's the difference between a healthy relationship and a toxic one?
At work or at home, we risk our mental health if we suffer in a toxic environment because of the actions of family, co-workers or a partner. In this episode we will go through the main aspects that make a relationship toxic, what abuse is and how to call it off or leave.
Sadly many of us do not leave but instead drink away their problems- causing bigger ones. If you are in a toxic relationship at the moment, or you know of someone who is, please reach out to the many organisations that offer a listening ear - it could save a life.

This episode is basically the audio track from the Youtube video I recorded with my guest, Steven Blake of OldPain2Go. com
In this one hour long interview, Steven goes really deep into the realm of pain and what type of message the body is trying to give us with certain types of chronic pain. In far too many cases, we ignore the pain and keep pushing, and so it returns, stronger and stronger until we can no longer ignore it.
This has been an eye-opening chat for me about being always 'busy'!
There is a personal threshold between being busy with life, and being overwhelmed, and Steven will clarifies how the process works.
In the end of the interview, Steven also explains what to do when we can't sleep because our mind is racing with to do lists and worries.

In my conversation with Steven Blake, the founder of OldPain2Go, I will ask many questions about the meaning of pain. Where is it coming from? What is it telling us and do we need it for years and years to remind us of something?
Steven will enlighten all of us regarding some aspects of pain that we might have not considered before. The one that shines to me is that many times we can let the old pain GO for good!
In the episode you will hear several incredible stories of healing after many years of severe pain, including Steven's story.

Raise your hand if you have been criticised by people who felt threatened by you, by your parents or peers, by in-laws, by work colleagues, and by partners. It happens, and sometimes it happens every single day, for YEARS.
What our parents, carers, authority figures and friends tell us contributes to form the idea of who we are. Not only that, but overly critical people in our lives will eventually destroy our self esteem, our capacity to trust in our abilities, and our ability to properly understand, regulate and express our emotions.
In my new episode I share the main issues that affect those who grew up with controlling, super critical parents and how they often tend to transfer those behaviours to their own offspring. Despite best intentions, even loving parents can fall into the trap of constantly focusing on what their child is doing wrong - while forgetting to praise small and big achievements.
And that makes them feel awful.
In the same way, these principles apply to friends, society, media, relationships and whatever is influencing us in our daily lives.
Overly critical environments create individuals who are unable to find true joy, express themselves, trust their own judgement, and be kind to themselves. They might experience anxiety, addictions, suicidal ideation, lack of desire to engage with others, indecision and many other unpleasant issues.
I will share how to deal with super critical, harsh humans who diminish us, how to turn things around, accept that some people won't change and move on.
The most important thing we can learn in the journey is to love ourselves and understand that we are worthy humans.
We are enough!
If you need help in the process, you know where I am! Using RTT, Ericksonian hypnosis, Coaching and NLP, and a good dose of warmth and humour, I will transform your life in just four weeks!

If you suffer from anxiety and panic attacks when it comes to money, you might have a money phobia, which is also known as Chrometophobia. In this episode I will share what the symptoms of this condition are and how it affects people who have regular or very well paid jobs; they won't spend money for bills, repairs or necessities, and might end up in financial trouble, or neglecting serious home repairs and health issues until they end up spending a lot more than they wished to save.
This is a real condition that affects many people and I will also add some down to earth tips on how to tackle it.
Chrometophobia has nothing to do with wisdom and realism, and with those who realistically cannot spend money because it's tight or it's not there.
The origins of this issue usually stem from negative beliefs we have built around money when we were younger or when financial disaster hit us.
Symptoms range from anxiety to avoidance and full blown panic attacks when talking or thinking about this mysterious thing: money!

I must admit I was shocked when I saw a short BBC documentary where young people spoke to a stranger the same words they tell themselves every day. Those dialogues were dark and depressing. Yet we know that a surprisingly large amount of our youth and young adults is suffering in an environment that is toxic for them, and is destroying their self esteem, while pushing them, in some cases, to self destroy in an attempt to be cool, popular and accepted.
Let's not divert our gaze when we see anorexia, bulimia, self harm, addiction, self hate, body hate, social anxiety and so on. There is always a reason when we start hating ourselves.
In this episode I will crunch some data from studies that seek to understand the impact of societal pressure and social media on how we view ourselves.
Whether we are under pressure to become smaller, bigger, larger, more or less endowed, faster, slower, prettier or stronger, I want to send a loud and clear message: You are more that your body! You are unique and important.
You matter. You are loved.
You are ENOUGH*

More than 10% of the population suffers from anxiety related to driving. I did too and I completely recovered!
In this episode I explore the types of fears one might might experience (such as fear of motorways, bridges, tunnels), some reasons why this disorder might happen, and some considerations on how to tackle driving anxiety.
In some cases, using either CBT, hypnosis and/or a short refresher driving course may achieve optimal results - each case is different and may require different interventions.

Have you ever wondered if it's possible to live a good life - not perfect or without trails, but good and without regrets?
I did - and I eventually I realised that if I didn't take action, nobody would do it for me. I had to take responsibility to fix my issues, change my habits, my thoughts, my everything if I wanted to reach my goals. One thing I had to learn was to stop licking my wounds, stop living in the past.
I used life-long learning and hypnosis to work on many layers of my personality so I could emerge as the real me - the one I was born to be: the artist, the mind architect, the piano lover, the eclectic learner, the optimistic life-loving mite that you might spot eating black sugar free chocolate and dance at the music of Technotronic (not at the same time!)
In the process I found out that fear was stopping me from change. I was not investing in myself and I was waiting for some kind of saviour who would do all the hard work for me. I had to work on my fear of failure, of rejection, of pain to be able to burst out of my chrysalis and extend my wings.
Hypnosis helped me to conquer my fears, try new things and create the life I want.
No, I haven't become a famous singer, or a millionaire nor have I become younger. That's not what inner work is about. It's more about enjoying every day, being grateful, and changing small things to change the big things in my life.
If you are wondering what's next in your life and you are curious about hypnosis, my new podcast episode is for you. It will give you ideas of what hypnosis and inner work can achieve when you and I work together. No, I don't do the work for you but with you. It's different.
As you listen you will see how many others have found creativity, solutions, focus, improved performance, and broke habits of over eating, smoking, negative thinking etc.
You might be surprised that many well-known people from Churchill to Einstein, To Mel B and Adele have benefited from hypnosis. And you can be the next.
What are you waiting for?

A diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis can be daunting. There isn't a total cure yet. Therefore, when Cindy Hubbs Longsdale found out she had MS, she had two choices: helplessly watch the disease destroy her life or take action.
In this episode, we will find out what type of mindset Cindy had, how her stressful situation triggered M.S., and how she managed to reverse her condition through several, widely available life-style based techniques.
The result? After her most recent MRI scan, her specialist doctor stated, 'There is no sign of progression. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it!'
I learned that much of what we habitually do in the Western world can in some people trigger MS or other auto-immune conditions. Thus, prevention is the best cure. 'And if you are thinking that wellness is expensive', says Cindy, 'try illness! That will cost you a lot more.'

Between lack of sleep, overwhelm, multitasking and lack of clear goals, everything seems to be set up to make us fail. In this engaging episode we will examine why we can't concentrate - and most importantly, on how we can focus on what really matters and get things done.
If this is a significant and not a clinical problem, I will be very happy to help you with coaching, hypnosis and NLP to find out what's keeping you stuck and what you can do to start moving towards the life that you want.

New year, new goals, right? So you've done it all:
BUT...
If this is happening to you, I have good news. Sometimes, even after clearing all your emotional problems, we still desire and even crave certain foods. How come? Very often it is because we are wired to prefer sweet over savoury foods. And because of your biology, which makes us crave more of the wrong food with mechanism I will explain in the podcast.
Therefore, by understanding what happens when we eat someting sweet, we can regulate the timing and type of foods we eat, so we can work with our body to lose those cravings. By learning which foods affect our mood, appetite and sleep we can modify our pattern just enough to allow those stubborn inches to melt away.
In this tip-packed episode I will share the connection between sugar and the brain, following an amazing podcast episode from Dr A. Hubermann, an American neuroscientist and tenured associate professor in the department of neurobiology and psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine who has made contributions to the brain development and plasticity.
My summary will point you back to his 2 hour long podcast episode, but if time is a commodity for you, it will certainly get you started straight away with simple and effective strategies to kick those extra inches off for good!

In post-war Italy, torn by poverty and lack of opportunities, many Italians left their shelters and emigrated to Latin America, the USA or Australia. Salvatore Forcina was one of them. Leaving his small town in Lazio, he and his family moved to Argentina where he eventually trained to become a medical doctor. Overcoming one obstacle after the other, Salvatore then moved to the USA, learned English from scratch and sat many more exams to specialise in his profession, becoming the chief of surgery at two major hospitals. In his words, sheer grit, determination and inspirational wise advice from his Dad were like a drop of water that, dripping gently on a rock for years, eventually created a cavity in it.
'Life is tough where you have nothing, but you need to move out of your comfort zone tor each the top of that mountain,' he said. Listen to his interview to learn how you too, can overcome the belief that all doors are closed and there is no hope.
And of course find out more by reading his forthcoming memoir in May. You can see more details on Facebook and Instagram.

Guess what, it's not written in stone that most of us will all have dementia when we age. In fact, this condition can be largely prevented and even reversed to a point in advanced stages, by changing our lifestyle. In this episode brimming with tips from Dr. Dale Bredesen's book, 'The first survivors of Alzheimers', I will share his wisdom and his research about preventing cognitive decline by optimising our habits in such a way that your brain will be able to detox correctly, and our health will improve at many levels.
Preventing cognitive issues starts in our youth - it is not a one-day process and it lasts a lifetime of good habits! So, if you are looking for a worthy goal in 2023, maybe this is the right time for you to take care of your amazing brain with a new focus: be clean!
Do you ever hypentilate, gasp for air when worrying about some future event, or realise that you are breathing with an open mouth?
In this interview with Chris Davies, an expert in breathwork, hypnosis, NLP and a host of disciplines, we are going to discuss the importance of breathing well to maintain good mental, emotional and physical health. Chris is an ex royal marines commando of ten years and is now a trained breath work facilitator who helps people break old paradigms, release trauma and reach new levels of success and consciousness.
You will learn the importance of breathing well so that our mind works well. A second episode will delve deeper into the topic next time!

Every year millions of us diligently set up incredibly worthy and noble goals that we generously support throughout the first few weeks of January. Come February, some of the shiny future has lost its allure and by June we can't list any of our goals. Are we doomed for failure?
The answer is no. By following three basic steps we can not only implement new ways of getting where we want, but also eliminate the very habits that have caused problems until now.
Happy new year - with new, strategic resolutions translated into action that supports (instead of hindering) the way our mind works.
Did you know that there are more than 40 peer-reviewed studies on the impact of dance on Parkinson’s? Something changes in our brain when we dance and the improvements envelop many areas of our life. In this episode I will explore the discoveries of David Leventhal, who started introducing dance to a group of six PD suffererers and ended up creating a global program that is benefiting not only patients but their connections. I will also share the results of the study by Jess Bone, Research Fellow in Epidemiology and Statistics at the University College in London. Jess demonstrated that the engagement with the arts help to prevent and slow diseases like dementia; we will also learn about the impact of the arts in the children's ability to express their feelings, and engage in creative writing. I will give you tips on how to improve children's skills and how to introduce them to art, writing, music, singing etc from an early age - but without the pressure of becoming a professional.
The arts have the potential to bring us connection, love, peace, expression and joy - let's make more art in the new year!

Oliver cannot sit still at school. He disturbs everyone, pushes other kids and refuses to listen to those trying to help him. Doctors say there is nothing physically wrong with him. Yet he is verbally aggressive, has no self confidence and gets warned, then isolated, then punished, and finally excluded from high school. He joins an armed gang, and talks about revenge. His future looks bleak and his anger at the system his high. What’s happening?
Why is the system failing him? What can we do to help?
Sometimes we overlook the obvious reasons why our youth behave in unacceptable ways. In this episode and in the next one I follow Professor Kelvin Ramirez in his programme designed to rescue children at risk like Oliver and to intervene before the damage is done.

We often make assumptions on why children and teen behave in disruptive ways. In many cases, they are unable to understand, regulate and express their emotions.
Professor Ramirez's outstanding work in a refugee camp shows how creative activities, self expression and connection to the community are the key behind healing from trauma.
Talk therapies help to clarify what's going on, but it's when the person acts to create something, that the magic really happens.

Our daily activities are surrounded by colours. What we eat, wear, touch, see, draw, drink, detest or admire has colour.
So how does colour influence our perception on what is good, pleasant and healthy for us and what is not?
Could colour hinder our performance or even boost it, make us relax or energise us?
In this episode we shall see if it's possible that our perception and mood can be altered by modifing the colour of an object or our environment.
This is such a fun topic for me as an artist and designer!
When are you ready to work with a therapist? Is it when your parents make you go to the psychologist? Or when tragic events trigger a deep depression and your doctor recommends you seek for therapy? You are not alone: most people do procrastinate one or two tasks they don't like. It's human. Procrastinating doing the washing up is one thing...putting off living our dreams is another thing. Losing our health is also a serious issue....
When procrastination starts affecting our quality of life, things change. We change!

From guide dogs to petting farms - there is such a wide choice for those who want to learn about animals and maybe have one as a pet. Studies show that individuals who have pets tend to show lower stress during tests. But how does a pet help a person to feel safe, secure, and calmer? We are going to talk just about that in this short and sweet episode.
Do you have a pet? What do you like doing with your big or little pet? Can you suppress a smile and an 'awww' when you see a cute baby animal?
Maybe this is what you need to feel better! But remember: a pet is not an object and it's for life. As long as you are capable of looking after it, giving it love and attention, your pet will be glad to stay very close to you and (depending on the type of animal) enjoy your cuddles, just like the burrowing owl in the photo!
How many opportunities do we miss because we lack self confidence?

In this episode I look back at 6 amazing clients who had issues with:
Weight loss not happening despite good efforts
Lack of self confidence in relationships, at work, and at University
Anger or inability to express themselves healthily
Need to smoke when under pressure
Procrastination and self sabotage
.....And much more!
All six of these clients had experienced situations in the past when they lost self belief, self love, confidence and purpose. The situation changed when they connected the dots!
If you or a loved one are suffering from an insistent bad habit that is ruining your life, an addiction to porn, alchol, smoking/chemical substances, too much work/stress or failing health despite good intentions/good diet... there is hope.
Data published from the CDC shows a strong correlation between Adverse Childhod Events (ACE) and many conditions including diabetes, depression and addiction. Those events might be remembered in a faded, benign and rationalised way 'strict parents', 'doting uncle', 'hard-working Dad', ' brother in hospital', 'moved to 3 cities in two years'.
However, in some cases what we thought was 'real life' is what 63% of adults experience: trauma.
In this episode I will share my findinds about those connections:
How past trauma triggers us today
What we can do if we are stuck in our old ways physically or emotionally due to trauma
Healing doesn't happen overnight: it's a process. Are you ready to take the first step?

In this episode I interview Dr Kelly Cox, an Illinois based E.R. physician. He shares how he helps patients by preventing illness instead of just treating its final consequences. We discuss how we should learn about our mind and how it works, how every thought we have affects how we live, eat, drink, become addicted, lose sleep etc. he then shares some valuable lessons on living a more mindful life - with much lower stress and with conscious, healthier choices.

A common thread among many of my clients is the fact that they don't see love, success, happiness as avaiable to them. They think that because when they were younger they didn't get enough love, attention, support - or even worse, because they got cold shoulders, criticism etc they have one main duty in life: to shut down to anyone who might threaten their peace.
They retreat like a snail in its shell and don't even dare emotionally venturing outside.
Happiness becomes simply the absence of pain. No risk -no failure.
In this episode I will explore how we can navigate those wounds and use the bricks thrown at us to build the future we deserve.
Have you ever wondered why...
your confidence is so low?
you seem to attract partners who can't show affection?
you feel that relationships are not for you and you announced you are going to stay single?
you find it a bit uncomfortable to give affection or praise to others?
when you witness families of friends displaying affection/praise, you feel they must be faking it?
In this episode I will share some of the elements that may cause those feelings.
Granted, we are all different and things can vary within each family, but ...
It all started in your childhood!
Tune it to learn more and let me know if it resonates.
The good news is that you CAN change!
When I worked as a stained glass designer I learned many interesting aspects about the actions that culminate in a stunning and vibrant window or glass object. Not surprisingly, many of these steps have striking parallels with our life and with how, looking back at what belongs to our past, we can treasure those moments of learning so we can look forward with gratefulness and intention. We may even appreciate the dark days in the past, because the joyful colours of today are standing out so well against the dark background.
Join me in this fascinating journey into the colourful glass world - which is remarkably similar to our life patterns and teaches us an important lesson: we are not broken.

I've been researching a bit more about clean communication, and in this episode I will share the six aspects of black and white thinking. This is a typical situation when we just listen to our drums, ignore others and any evidence we might possibly have got something wrong. Aside from the basic morals about of life, death, violence, etc where it's quite clear what is good, in many occasions we can expand our knowledge and understanding by taking some time to listen to the other side.

Do our beliefs affect how we perceive reality? Is it possible that we see what we want to see and ignore what doesn’t fit our existing views?
In this episode I start by drawing conclusions from a Yale study (link provided below). The study shows that even people who were excellent at maths, when given data on a subject about which they held an opinion opposite to the conclusion of the study, they drew the wrong mathematical conclusion.

I will talk about why we spend so much energy trying to prove we are right, and ignoring any data or facts that don't fit our beliefs. There are six steps that create this situation and at some point we might quietly admit to ourselves that confirmation bias is a reality in our life. This tendency has the potential of hurting others and destroying all our relationships, so it's a great idea to consider this possibility when we are pondering 'life'.
As Thomas Huxley is quoted saying,
'It is not who is right but what is right that is of importance’

In this episode I will outline the 6 aspects you might want to consider as you design your presentation. Thinking ahead of the type of client you serve, his needs, what he resonates with and how your message will come across will give you a better product, ensure greater impact and ultimately create a healthy connection with the people you want to help.
How do you actually record a video in a few steps? Is it too confusing? I have simplified the process so that anyone can get started immediately! We will talk about position of equipment, baackground, lighting, dress requirements, editing and summarising the text you will draw inspiration from. The secret is to keep things simple! Because if they are not, you will never find the energy to repeat a long and complicated experience.
We continue to streamline in eight simple steps how to further plan our video. Asking yourself the right questions will allow the message you crafted to reach the right audience, resonate with their mind and needs, and make them feel the desire to take action. Let me know what else you would like to talk about so we can add it in the next episodes!
If you feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of steps you need to get started on video making, here is a simplified process that will guide you from concept to mindset, your message and your reasons for doing this. Before rushing to get specialist equipment, embarking in a 6 month video production or editing course, or reading a whole book on content marketing, you need to nail down a few things that will determine your focus and direction, and ultimatly your success. Let me know if there is anything. else you want me to cover!
In this new series of episodes I will talk about a different form of anxiety: the fear of cameras (and of course videocameras). In fact making videos is extremely useful for communicating your message in a powerful way - whether it's a message for your own family or something that will explain how your product or service can help others. So if you want to learn where this fear comes from, and how to get started with video making, listen to the next 3 episodes too!
We all agree that sadly life may bring to some chronic illness, accidents, divorce, loss, betrayal or poverty. As a consequence, we might feel broken and lose purpose. We might not even know who we are, why we are here, and what's the point in trying to get something good in our life. We might feel depressed and suicidal. Or....we might reach for help. We can start therapy, visualise and build a good future, a better life, and not only survive, but thrive. In this heartfelt interview with hypnotherapist PamelaMarie Topjan, who is a victim of abuse herself, we will show you that we can not only survive, but thrive despite all the tragedies that have filled our days. If you want to contact Pamela, this is her website: HypnoBreakthrough.com
Despite the fact that we are undoubtely the product of our environment, upbringing, genetics and many other factors, a good initial step to create our future is to stop blaming our parents for their actions. Yes, parents make mistakes, some more grave and serious than others. However, how helpful is it to rest on those negative memories to justify our lack of action? How long can we live in the past?
Are you preparing for exams? Or maybe you are looking for help when you study, so you can be at peak form? This week I am giving you a FREE hypnotic recording that will help you to:

In our quest for knowledge we present you Melissa, who runs Guided Life By Design. She explains the basics of Human Design, a holistic system that aims to help people recognise their innate gifts and traits, so that they can be who they truly came here to be - which is the less complicated road to living their dream life.
Whether it's binge eating, drinking, drug use, smoking or gambling, addiction can be treated using many methods, including hypnosis and NLP. In this introductory session I will discuss the first steps that lead us out of the vicious cycle of doing something damaging for us, feeling guilty, hiding, and doing it again because we are ashamed of ourselves and think we are a failure. It all starts with our thinking patterns...
Remember those goals you set back in January? If you are working on them, congratulations! But if you have forgotten about them or feel that you are stuck, help is at hand. Are you anxious and permanently worried about an invisible enemy? Are you stuck home and fed up of unhealthy relationships with people, or food, or yourself? In this episode I will share the six steps you can take to turn your life around, without years and years of therapy, medication, drugs and failed efforts.
Sometimes recovering or healing can be achieved with the most ancient method: hand healing and prayer. Our guest Mark Earlix has healed thousands of people doing just that and will share with us that our body can heal itself, as directed by our Creator - once we get out of our way, change our thoughts and trust that amazing things can happen and open the way to a better life. The change initiates within ourselves.

What's the purpose of my life? Why am I here? What on earth am I doing? These are questions that often come to us, whether we are feeling great or not. When we can't find answers, depression, addiction, lack of satisfaction might find their way into our lives because we feel empty and without purpose. Kellan was a successul musician and business coach but was still feeling that something was missing. He had failed in his relationships and was using drugs to numb the pain. But he was not forgotten. After some amazing experiences, including a near death, he came back with a message he wants to share with the world. We matter. We have purpose. But we must BELIEVE to see what is possible for us. Listen to his story of finding out who he is, and working to bring service and love to others to find real happiness.

In this episode I share ten science based tips on raising independent children. From the words we use to chores issues, how many toys are recommended, dealing with emotional issues and making decisions, there is a lot there to get you going and moving from 'He is so entitled/bored/laxy' to 'He is so helpful/hard working/motivated'. I so wish I had those tips before having kids myself, but as my parents raised me to be self reliant I simpy passed on those values in the hope they will one day be appreciated. Research shows that giving responsibilities helps more than we think!
“Change is the end result of all true learning.” (Leo Buscaglia)
Do you agree with Leo? I do. Education is power. Yet, so many spend their time unfulfilled and in chronic distress because their lack of education is stemming from - and also causing - a lesser quality of life, worse health outcomes and lack of opportunities.
I am not advocating a world-wide rush to gain a university degree but I invite all of us to consider learning new skills, and to develop a love for life learning, which will improve our mental health, our socio-economic situation and our self reliance.
In this episode I will be sharing some concepts from the NCBI site Study of 2019 'Education Improves Public Health and Promotes Health Equity' which concludes that,
“Education improves health because it increases effective agency, enhancing a sense of personal control that encourages and enables a healthy lifestyle. Education’s beneficial effects are pervasive, cumulative, and self-amplifying, growing across the life course.”
Tune in to learn more and be inspired by the achievements of many dyslexic people who have become scientists, artists and even Presidents by looking at their challenge as an opportunity to grow.
We live in an uncertain world where our economic situation, our health an our freedom can deteriorate at any time. What can we do about it?
We can learn about self reliance and plan ahead for what is more likely to happen to our family, our city or country. When we consider what lies ahead, what type of education and skills will we need? What type of job will be more helpful? Can we lower our debt and learn to live within our means?
By preparing now we will feel more peaceful.

Millions of people suffer from depression but relatively few openly talk about it, especially men. Having intense feelings or being suicidal is not something to be ashamed of. Instead we can recognise the symptoms, seek for help and learn that feeling better is possible.
In this episode I quote author Matt Haigh whose awesome book you can buy here: https://amzn.to/3Dl3lAy
Aged 24, Matt Haig's world caved in. He could see no way to go on living. This is the true story of how he came through crisis, triumphed over an illness that almost destroyed him and learned to live again. If someone you care about has depression, give him this book!

What do you tend to do when you are stressed? Happy? Busy? Hungry? Frustrated or late? Do you eat something, smoke, lose your patience, shut down, go for a walk or work until you drop?
Did you know that our actions and reactions are often just a habit and not quite a thoughtful decision designed to achieve a certain goal? In fact, most times our habit are shortcuts for efficiency reason and do not serve our higher purpose.
In this episode I will share with you a few concepts about:
Let me know if you need help changing your habits so you can become happier, calmer, more balanced and productive.
Christmas is coming! We are all thinking about festive food, right? Well, not everyone! Some people are terrified of meeting up and eating contaminated food or touching germs.
Did you know that 1.7% to 3.1% of males and 6% to 7% of females are terrified about the idea of vomiting? This disorder is called emetophobia and can change the life of the sufferers, who go to great lengths to avoid contamination in order not to see or experience throwing up. Shame and embarrassment about the condition keep it hidden until their life becomes miserable. Even watching someone being sick on TV can trigger a reaction.
In this episode I will share the main behaviours that come with this disorder, such as obsessive cleaning and avoiding people, foods or transport, what are the reasons that may cause emetophobia, and how by using a blend of hypnosis, coaching, NLP and psychotherapy anyone can overcome.
And this can happen not in 20 session but in one!
Now that you know about this disorder, you might notice how many friends or work colleagues might be offering in silence and need help.
The message is clear: once we uncover the causes of this condition, during a hypnosis/RTT session, we are able to reframe our mind and move on!
As Stephen Covey said,
'You don't see the world as it is, you see it according to who you are.'

Or do you focus on what you can do, on being grateful for the silver lining - or the teaching moment you just experienced? Neuroscience is clear that the way we think, filter and anticipate events changes our perception and reality.

I will share 10 stories of clients who were able to discover what was holding them back in their journey to health and to remove those triggers by using hypnosis. In this episode packed full of tips, find out what are the symptoms of anticipatory anxiety, how they affect your daily life and your sleep and how to tackle them in a few easy steps.

Taking care of yourself and your emotional and physical health will be paramount.

In this episode I will share a few tips to help you raise your confidence in your workplace, starting from your body language and your thinking. The way you think, your posture, and tone of voice, have a direct impact on how others perceive you and respond to your actions.
In this episode I will share the best tips for preparing the perfect resume and talk about the things that the employer finds more important. You will learn why being a problem solver is the number 1 skill that you will want to highlight!
Many of my clients lament lack of success and feel defeated, low and not good enough. They want to give up. I will discuss the four aspects that can determine failure (as long as the fundamentals were right) and why having smart goals, being consistent, learning from our mistakes and being positive will support our efforts to have success.
These aspects apply to efforts in career, family, health, fitness and person matters.
If you are one of those people who dreads pronouncing the word NO even when you are berated with enough duties, tasks and appointments, this episode is for you.
When saying YES is distracting you from an important long term goal or task, or taking away much needed rest or time with your family, there are ways to politely decline and reclaim your life.
It turns out that sometimes, saying NO is the best way to respect ourselves and establish healthy boundaries, especially at work.
What if we invested in our health, relationships, career, fitness, spirituality or talents just like investors do in the stock market?
Guess what - we would get excellent long term results. It turned out that advice given to investors is strikingly similar to the one that is given for people to succeed in their personal life. Find out why in this super-informative and fun episode!
Can you give feedback without crushing others? Do you fear receiving appraisal? Learn techniques to give and receive positive feedback.
Could it be that we failed to established our career or relationship because we have not built rapport with others? Small details like posture, body language, word choice influence how others perceive us and our communication structure. In this episode we will find out how to address the issue and communicate with skill the precise message we want to convey.
Newsflash: we spend the time doing the things that most matter to us. Even if we think we just watched TV (which is not a 'goal') what mattered to us was perhaps to rest/unwind.... in this episode we discover the subtle difference between lack of time and lack of importance in our long term goals.
Ever wondered why we feel high, or low, just like batteries? It's because our cells are filled with energy, our bodies are energy and our thoughts can create positive or negative energy. Thus the very first step to feel great is to create great thoughts and generate positive energy.

We get what we focus on, and others can perceive how we feel by our body language. In this episode we do an N.L.P. exercise to see what's the difference between thinking we will succeed and anticipating failure. It turns out that it always pays to visualise success to manifest it, as we take appropriate steps and truly believe we CAN.

What is the internal bias? It's something we form with our experiences, success and failures, as we lump events and people in useful categories for quick decisions. Although experience is a great teacher, at times it can be of hindrance and stop us from enjoying our life, getting along with others and move on. Relationship and work issues are sometimes best addressed with the help of an external figure who has a different bias and a fresher outlook on the issue.
Did you know that our brilliant mind can create problems so we can cope with other problems? We inherently resist pain, change, and failure and often we find out that an inexplicable illness or condition has an emotional reason for existing. From weight issues to skin complaints, we got them all covered!

Be inspired by Steve. From being told not to take Art in his High School options - to being employed in a variety of creative endeavours as a sculptor, fabricator, cartoonist, prop maker, animator and teacher.
The teachers' unhelpful suggestion propelled Steve into a stronger desire to embrace art in many forms. Today he talks creative variety, inspirations and keeping "it" fresh as a creative. Foremostly a traditionalist here in 2020, Steve has worked on projects such as:
• Concept design and character creation
• Theatre props
• Scenic art

• Cartoons and Illustration

• Life drawing and life sculpture
• Mask making

When we change what's going on in our mind first, we can reintroduce art in our life and truly enjoy it.
In the following episodes I will interview full-time and part-time artists and ask them how they got there.
