I created Grateful Connections to change that.
This community is built on the belief that growth happens through gratitude, guidance, and genuine relationships. It’s where you’ll find honest conversations, helpful connections, and a circle of women who want to see you succeed.

Kristin Crockett welcomes Kate Juozaitis, a clinical mental health therapist and women's empowerment coach, to share her journey of personal growth and professional evolution in a heartfelt conversation. Kate recounts her early experiences as a helper, starting with volunteering at the American Lung Association alongside her grandmother. Her path took a transformative turn when she became a firefighter and paramedic at just 17 years old, a decision triggered by a life-altering car accident. This pivotal moment instilled in her a profound sense of purpose: to help others while also healing herself along the way. The discussion delves into the critical concept of 'mother wounds,' a term that Kate uses to describe the deep-rooted issues many women face regarding their relationships with their mothers. Through her coaching, she aims to empower women to recognize and address these wounds, which often manifest as negative self-talk and diminished self-esteem. The conversation highlights how understanding these wounds can foster healing, self-acceptance, and the ability to love oneself without the burden of inherited fears or criticisms.
The episode further explores the theme of fear versus clarity. Kate shares her profound realization of how a traumatic experience stripped her of fear and brought clarity to her life path. This clarity, she explains, allows individuals to swat away fears like annoyances, focusing instead on their courageous destinies. Kristin and Kate emphasize the importance of self-awareness in the journey of self-love and healing, discussing how recognizing and reframing negative self-talk can significantly change one’s life trajectory. They encourage listeners to become observant of their inner dialogues, suggesting that the way one speaks to oneself can either empower or undermine one’s goals. Ultimately, they present a compelling case for the necessity of self-compassion and the active pursuit of understanding one’s purpose, inviting listeners to embark on their own journeys of courageous self-discovery.

Bea recounts a pivotal moment during a mission trip to Haiti, where she faced chaos and loss, leading to her brother's memorable advice about calling later when the rates were cheaper. This moment not only inspired the title of her book but also encapsulates the significance of maintaining connections during challenging times—a theme that resonates deeply throughout the episode.
As Bea shares her multifaceted background, from her days as an opera singer to her work in nonprofit fundraising, listeners are drawn into her narrative of overcoming adversity with humor and grace. Her journey highlights that challenges are not merely obstacles but opportunities for growth, encouraging listeners to embrace their struggles as part of their unique story. The discussion culminates in Bea's aspiration to become a motivational speaker, sharing her story to inspire others to find hope and courage in their own lives. Listeners are prompted to consider their paths and the potential for transformation, reinforced by Bea's belief that with faith, anything is possible. The episode serves as a beacon of encouragement, urging individuals to pursue their passions, cultivate resilience, and share their stories with the world. This episode launches the Courageous Destiny Season 2. It is my honor to dedicate this episode to my client and friend Joni Killius. Joni has always inspired me from the first moment I met her. She has been through things most cannot even imagine. She has had cancer and survived the odds, battled and placed herself in the care of God in her recovery, she has 5 living children, experienced the loss of her baby Trinity, gotten a PHD, lost everything financially and rebuilt everything and recently has been diagnosed with Stage 4D Melanoma. In that diagnosis, she did have one clinical trial opportunity that recently she was not able to qualify for and has had complete home devastation with hurricane Ian recently clearing it's path through central Florida. This isn't made up, this all actually happened to one person. In that, when you speak to Joni she will ask you how you are doing and she will hold her chin up working through her fears with her faith in God and keep stepping up to the plate of life no matter what. If it is in your heart to help Joni, both Sherra and I make a bold request for prayer, sharing this podcast, her facebook public group Dead Folks Talking, we invite you to an event link below as well as an opportunity to share resources to the Go fund me I created for Joni and her family. Thank you in advance for listening. This couldn't be nearer to my heart and Joni needs our help even if she herself wouldn't ask for it. But I can and so can Sherra! We are all given talents throughout our life. They show up as things we love to do and things that break us apart from the crowd. How many of us think about monetizing those gifts and making a career out of it? Cheryl Rausch, as a phychic medium, since she can remember had the amazing ability to communicate with "the other side." Only, being able to communicate to the other side has its challenges when it comes to being accepted by society. She was called a "basket case" and learned that her gift was strange and only for "certain" company. Then one day, not so long ago, she embraced her gift at a whole new level and relaunched her career as a psychic medium. In today's episode, Cheryl shares how she communicates with spirits, what she overcame to monetize her gift as a psychic medium and she honors me with the gift of re-connecting me to an old friend and mentor. I am forever grateful for this episode. For anyone, who has a gift that they are afraid to share and is looking for inspiration or anyone curious about psychic medium readings, this episode is for you.
One thing I always love to say, love and life is not all unicorns and rainbows. We can expect it to be, we can judge that it's not good if it's not all unicorns and rainbows, but really isn't it a journey of a lifetime to learn to navigate through the storms? To embark on a conscious journey of self love, one of the key components if you ask me, is to allow oneself to accept oneself and one's circumstances as they are and design and build a life anyway. Yes, even in the middle of a storm. In today's episode Moyra Gorski shares how she made herself important even though she was navigating challenges in motherhood. Moyra shares about how she consciously released the idea she could fix, manage and control her adult child experiencing the impacts of an incredibly challenging eating disorder. She explains how she created herself as the example of self love, made herself important, loved her child like a mighty warrior and consciously made sure she was not enabling her. Sometimes as a mom we choose tough love and even though it's not all unicorns and rainbows, it is in the best interest of our children. This is a must listen for all moms and daughters. We all deserve self love, even in the storms.
Diagnosis of cancer as a young woman, addiction, 6 children, another cancer diagnosis and the loss of a child. When I asked Joni Killius, "how did you survive and keep going?" Let's face it, any ONE of the things Joni had endured in life could take most of us out and here she was in front of me... an accountant, wellness enthusiast and coach, woman of faith, mom... She shared... That through each turn and twist, just when she thought, I can't do this anymore, she handed her life over to God and surrendered. She knew she couldn't do it on her her own, but she believed she wasn't alone and she had her faith to take her through. If you or anyone you know is in the eye of the storm or approaching heavy waters in life or need some inspiration, I invite you to listen to this very special interview with this very beautiful and brave woman.
"You get in life what your unconscious mind believes you deserve," Ed Bohlke, Deserve Level Coaching. I hired Ed years ago when I had this experience of waking up and not knowing where the heck I was. I was 80lbs heavier than I am today, in a career where I was not happy and quite frankly, did not see a pathway out. A good friend of mine recommended I speak to Ed Bohlke. It was one of the best decisions I had ever made. In three short months I went from stuck and trapped to requesting I join Ed in his mission to raise the Deserve Level of the Planet and become a Deserve Level coach myself. I left behind corporate America, became a speaker, podcaster, Deserve Level Coach and entrepreneur. Through Ed's coaching I had learned there was an invisible ceiling in my unconscious mind that if I hit up against it, that was the point in which I would self sabotage or just not be willing to take action to bring certain success into my life. Ed coached me to expand my awareness and raise that ceiling of my Deserve Level. That allowed me to take actions toward my desired success naturally and instinctively. I couldn't believe the dramatic difference just a few months of coaching made in my life. After I experienced the RESULTS (lost my first 30lbs and tripled my sales), the freedom and love that could be generated in raising my Deserve Level, it became my mission to inspire and coach others to also raise their Deserve Level and create miracles and giant leaps forward in their lives. In today's very special episode, I interview my coach and mentor Ed Bohlke, Founder of Deserve Level Coaching. This is a must listen to anyone ready to take on their lives with a whole new rigor. If you for a moment think, "Do I really not believe I deserve the success I have been striving for years... Could I just raise my Deserve Level and that will get me to where I have been wanting to go?" I know the answer... perhaps it's time you knew too. I invite you to listen.
Imagine the scene. Lock down changes small businesses overnight all over the world and everything you do is based on local attendance. No one can come and you have recreational business! Now what? In today's episode Jayson Mamaclay, owner of Fuzzy Logic Escape room (www.fuzzylogicescaperoom.com) shares how when confronted with this challenge, he was able to pivot his business by providing small group escape room experiences through video conferencing. This allowed him an opportunity to expand his business beyond the local community and shift to providing team building experiences for globally based and small to medium companies. Discover what solution based thinking, creativity and being willing to make a strong pivot can do when faced with an unimaginable challenge!
In today's episode I interview my friend, Deserve Level Coach Mentee and client, Yvonne Heller. So why do people stop themselves from action when it comes to sales? Why do they go so far up the ladder of success and find any excuse to stop action growing their business? Why do they procrastinate anything to do with sales because they are just not good sales people, don't want to be salesy or simply just don't have time for sales? If this sounds like you, this is a must listen. In my coaching I have observed, anyone can be handed a blueprint to success identifying all of the actions one needs to take to be successful. But... so many just won't take the actions or will for a time and just mysteriously STOP action right before the real success hits. In today's conversation, Yvonne and I identify some of the potential unconscious limits that keep a person stuck and a true solution to this mysterious conundrum that impacts so many sales people and entrepreneurs. I invite you to listen now! You deserve it!
Kristin Crockett interviews Kimberly Lechnick about faith and how trust in God can clear away blocks, create peace and inspiration to move forward. How do we navigate the unthinkable? There are times in all our lives when we are rejected, torn down and are challenged with circumstances growing up and as adults that are seemingly almost impossible to navigate. They create anger, upset and can certainly stall or slow down a person's life. But what if that was supposed to happen? What if because the obstacles and challenging circumstances happened were actually a blessing that moved you down the path of life to exactly where you are supposed to be? What if there were no accidents and those challenges were actually the framework necessary to guide you toward your destiny? In today's episode I interview Kimberly Lechnick relationship coach, T.V. Host, entrepreneur and faith driven mother(https://www.intentionalpathwaysbydesign.com/?fbclid=IwAR0PK8Yy0JIjUX627zH6Mk9jrQCboi_cmSx1ZBvKjPT33UI0PJlzTVgDKh8 (www.intentionalpathwaysbydesign.com)). Kimberly boldly shares some of her story and the obstacles she was able to overcome and re-frame by putting her trust in God and her courageous faith. If you want to create and generate true change in your life and beyond, it is critical to create congruency with your unconscious mind. In today's episode I interview Shirley Solis (www.newcodeexperience.com). We have an incredible discussion on the inner workings and importance of expanding awareness and re-coding the unconscious mind. The unconscious mind is 95% of the way that we think. If the unconscious mind is not on board with your deepest desires and the success you are looking to attract, things will be difficult, hard and virtually impossible to achieve. Why is that? Why can things be so HARD? How can you make doing things that seem impossible fun and natural? LISTEN to this episode! I met Shirley a few years back at her event "Live Life the Experience." I traveled from Chicago to Miami 3 times to be part of her amazing event. This event truly helped me transform my parenting, my relationships and more. Shirley is a catalyst for change, a friend and mentor of mine, a Master NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) coach, mother of 6 children she home schooled, true stand for people and one of the most authentic people I know. If you are interested in self development and true change in your life... this is a MUST listen.
If you do not follow Kevin McNally, Yacht Broker at Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales, on Facebook or his Youtube Channel (BoatNuck1), you will want to. If you like courageous sunsets, beautiful yachts and amazing landscapes, one may think that Kevin McNally is an artist of sorts. Though that would definitely be part of the story if you ask me, he is also courage on fire! Kevin talks about some of the things he has done that are courageous. Though, to him, he is incredibly humble and just what he does! Can you imagine jumping on a million dollar plus yacht you have never driven and just driving it across lake Michigan? Or... as a young man, after making a spur of the moment decision to go to Southern California with friends, Kevin created an "entertainment" event to raise funds. Kevin embodies courage and lives unlike any other person I have met. One thing I truly enjoyed interviewing Kevin is how he walks the talk of the beautiful Yachts he sells, how he shares how he sees them in their beautiful landscape with the world and how he doesn't "seem" to have much of a comfort zone! Want some more courage!? Listen...

Today I interview Health Coach, Lynn Gale of Gale Force Health, LLC. The coolest thing about Lynn... she is just like me. We could be twins... She was a corporate marketing powerhouse making well into the six figures, an incredibly successful bad ass in every way and through a twist of fate that made no sense at all, after 30 years she found herself out of her company and left with the question, what's next? Like me, for a time, she found comfort in pans of brownies, pizza and wine and after she had enough, she took on redesigning and recreating her health. In doing so, she found not only her next chapter, but her courageous destiny! Today we go into detail how she redesigned it all, what making the corporate leap into the entrepreneurial lifestyle was like and how she transformed her mindset to win! Anyone out there actually ready to create the courage to make the leap out of corporate america? Take on your health in a whole new way? If YES, this episode is for you!
In this episode I interview Julie Graham, a dear friend from grade school I had the honor to reconnect with after... 25+ years! I watched her journey on Facebook and was so impressed with the shift she had made in her life. I remembered a very kind, very intelligent studious person. I did not remember the woman I was seeing in the photos running marathons, hiking in really cool parts of the world and becoming as far as I am concerned an IRON LADY. I knew she had a story to be showing that kind of a contrast. It went way beyond the obvious appearance of weight loss... I saw her transform before my eyes. I am incredibly honored she chose to share on my Courageous Destiny Podcast. Listen for you and for your loved ones! Nutrition can change EVERYTHING so much more than most realize. It can even save a life...
