In Proverbs 13:20 says "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed". The enjoyability and success of your journey depends on the quality of the people closest to you. So as leaders, we have to choose our friends wisely. Be sensitive on God’s leading in choosing your friends.
If you are self-conscious, you limit yourself. But if you are Christ-conscious, you will be at rest. Focus on His ability and let Him do the work in you and through you. Learn to rest in Him. His grace is sufficient for you. His strength is made perfect in your weaknesses.
Sometimes, we limit ourselves because we are too conscious of what people will say about us. In this episode, we will talk about what matter most: God’s opinion of you. See yourself as someone who are accepted and approved by God, not because of what you have done, but because of what Jesus has done on the cross for you!
Moses felt a lack of knowledge about God. He didn’t know God well enough to describe Him to the people. It is very important to know God in a personal level. Do you know God? Do you know Him personally?
Moses struggled with his identity when God called Him as a leader. He didn’t feel that he is qualified. He thought God had picked the wrong leader/person for the role. Many people nowadays have no sense of identity and what we called "identity crisis". But the only way we can find/know our true identity is knowing God who is our Creator. If you are a believer, you are identified with Christ.
"Do I Have What It Takes?", "Am I qualified?" - These are the most common questions of a person who doesn't have enough confidence or hesitant to continue his/her journey in life. In this mini series of episodes, let us know that our “disqualification” is our qualification in the Grace of God.
