Channeling my younger self as a producer of a local Christian music video show, I'm excited to journey back in time and explore a vastly different era of faith and music. Joining me is the enlightening Reverend Ruin Martin Oakley, who has walked his spiritual path from Pentecostalism to atheism, and now identifies as a universalist and pantheist. Reverend Oakley's spiritual expedition is a fascinating tale of faith deconstruction, sparked by questions that led him to authors like Christopher Hitchens and ultimately propelled him to his current beliefs. His is a testament to the power of questioning and evolving our beliefs.

In the spirit of our nostalgia trip, we journey back to the 90s, a time of Christian music explosion spanning genres from ska to hard metal. We walk down memory lane, reminiscing about Adobe after effects and my own forays into music video production across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our dialogue extends beyond spirituality and music, touching upon the polarizing influence of leaders, tribalism, and religious interpretations. We also spar over popular television shows and movies, revealing our contrasting tastes and perspectives. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

“Everything I know about love is taught by the people who really never loved me. We strive to be loved… we do… and we hope to be loved back but sometimes what we give is not returned in the same authentic way… so let’s don’t allow this to change our heart. Let’s learn from it. Keep on spreading love around as love is really all we need.” The phrase “you get what you give” certainly comes to mind with this week’s guest on The Malliard Report. This week Jim welcomes Claudia Noriega Bernstein to the show. Claudia is an artist, writer, philanthropist, life coach, mentor, mother, and wife. During her career as a journalist, she has worked for magazines and television in South America and the US, touching subjects from parenting, forgiveness, and growth to political issues. "Woo Woo For Your Boo Hoo.” Psychic abilities have been long researched, tried, debated, and utilized for centuries. While many “academics” may be quick to write it off, the fact is that there is something to it. Why else would the CIA put so much time and money into conducting tests like remote viewing and OBE research? This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes a guest that has jumped far into the deep end when it comes to this kind of stuff. This week Jim welcomes Julie Guthrie Smulson who happens to be a remote viewer, medium, channeler, healer, wearer of many other hats, and is here to discuss her incredibly busy life doing such. “Julie is an Author, Spiritual Healer & Podcaster. As an author Julie is passionate about sharing her lifetime and lifetimes of experiences with the world. Julie’s intention in all that she does is to help others overcome their personal traumas and challenges so they can become happy and thriving individuals. Through Julie’s own personal traumas and challenges she has been endowed with the gift of being a highly sensitive empath. Julie’s empathic abilities allow her to help others through her business Spiritual Alchemy Energy Transfigurations as a Reiki Master/Teacher and Sound Healer. Julie developed a strong belief in spiritual healing from her own healing journey. Julie’s journey has led her to start her podcast Spiritual Alchemy Energy The PODCAST with Julie. Julie’s podcast highlights other healers, lightworkers and authors. Julie believes that everyone possesses unique and special gifts that they are sent here to share with others. There are a handful of voices that have become staples and fan favorites in the Malliard repertoire. This week one of those voices returns, and it is none other than the Safety Doc himself David Perridon. A lot has happened since the last time David has been on, and he’s produced another amazing book. This episode is certainly a heavy one, with a lot of information to take in. So sit down, strap in, and get ready.
“David P. Perrodin, PhD, worked twelve years as a Director of Student Services before exiting the profession to focus exclusively on researching school safety and high-stakes decision-making in conjunction with his doctoral dissertation at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. As an expert in safety preparedness and response, Dr. Perrodin has presented on public television, in school districts and at school safety conferences. He has access to the top safety specialists in the industry and works collaboratively with this talented network to bring unparalleled services to clients. In 2016, he partnered with Pulitzer Prize winning author and producer David Obst to write and direct a script involving an intruder in an elementary school setting. Since 2003, David has been a core faculty member with Viterbo University’s Educational Leadership Department and instructs aspiring administrators on the nuances of pupil nondiscrimination and school safety.”
Finite faultage, information overload, and general human chaos, David unpacks a lot in this episode, and as usual is always amazing. Every individual has something inside that drives them. A spark deep within that builds to a flame of personal achievement or passion. What it looks like, or the fuel behind it varies for each person, but the base behind it is all the same. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes a guest that has a raging inferno inside and has overcome obstacles that very few will ever know. On this episode Jim welcomes Courtenay Turner to discuss her achievements, her philosophies, and what drives her.
“…Courtenay Turner was born with congenital rubella. Her mother had the German measles during first trimester of pregnancy. Some of the ramifications including but not limited to unilateral blindness, severe bilateral hearing impairment, hypotonia affecting the limbs, heart complications, asymmetrical bone development, stunted growth, for fine and graphic motor coordination and several other afflictions. Doctors told her parents the best they could hope was to find an institution to put her in for life. From the baby nurse who put her in a wet sandbox, to her grandfather building a balance beam and exercises that her mother developed, or childhood gymnastics and other individualized sports, Courtenay is a prime example of how movement is integral to development and healing! She attributes her ability to overcome lack of motion parallax depth perception, for vestibular sense, hypotonic muscles, and poor coordination to the movement practices she has emerged from infancy through adulthood. Shields to inspire others to find ways to inhabit their physical home and moving in ways that heal their mind, body, and spirit.”
Courtenay is truly an inspirational guest, and her story is certainly one worth hearing. Make sure to check out her podcast, see her story, and even get in touch with her over on her website courtenayturner.com. As we binge through our favorite shows, watch that go-to comfort movie for the 150th time, and curiosity scroll through the protagonists’ real life social media pages, we often find ourselves wondering what the actor life is like. Daydreaming about how we would be in front of the camera for the whole world to see. Working alongside people that we have been enthralled and entertained by. Forgetting that most of the individuals we love and love to hate through our endless streams have had to fight and claw to the position they are in. This week on The Malliard Report, we get a rare chance to pull back that curtain and see just how life as an actor really…plays out… with special guest Sean Dillingham.
Sean Dillingham “…has appeared in over 135+ commercials and 70+ films and 25 national television series. He's had network television appearances on Operation REPO, Discovery ID, Buried in the Backyard, The NightShift, Longmire, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, This is Us, There's Johnny, Yellowstone & Better call Saul! He has acted alongside Kevin Costner, Tony Danza, Jane Seymour, Patrick Duffy, Roger Bart, Don Ameche, Stacy Keache, John O'Hurley, Andre Braugher, Andy Samberg, Milo Ventimiglia, Bob Odenkirk, Aidan Quinn, BJ Novak, Ashton Kutcher and more. The fascination with the hereafter has been something that humans have pondered over since we first set foot on this corporeal plane. The problem that has plagued this curiosity is the small detail of being able to venture on to the next realm requires that one…well…dies. With that, it has a tendency to make things a little more difficult in being able to report back ones findings.

It wasn’t until the late 19th century when a phenomena called expérience de mort imminente by French psychologist Victor Egger was studied. These “experience of imminent death” situations were further studied due to the claims of panoramic life reviews experienced by climbers during falls. Further study was then followed up in 1892 when a series of subjective observations by workers falling from scaffolds, war soldiers who suffered injuries, climbers who had fallen from heights or other individuals who had come close to death (near drownings, accidents) was reported. Eventually gaining traction as more than simply an anomalous perceptual experience or hallucination, the phenomenon was then described as a clinical syndrome and popularized thanks to the work of psychiatrist Raymond Moody who coined the term “Near Death Experience” or NDE.

On this episode of the Malliard Report, Jim welcomes Robert Kopecky to the show. Robert is a former animator and illustrator turned author and spiritual advisor/speaker. Robert’s change originally stemmed from a brush with death, however this was not his only journey to the other side. Robert experienced not one, but three near death experiences with each one being entirely different from the others. However, while these were different from each other, one common thread weaved between them and was an eventual take away and that is you do not have to die, to get to Heaven. Robert now has written two books that share how to find Heaven while still here on Earth and tours the nation attending various conferences sharing the same message.

Robert’s story is quite an interesting one and we don’t want to give it away here, so go ahead and give it a listen. “So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity and conservation, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality, nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit.”

Love it or hate, change happens. How one accepts the change determines the outlook of the situation to the individual. For The Malliard Report, change is happening and it is all for good.

One of the worst things that anyone, no matter the field or situation, could do is become stagnant or complacent within their element. Doing the same thing over and over becomes predictable and hinders any opportunity for future growth. So what is trying to be said here? Your browser does not support the audio element.Crawling out “from a dark, damp, stench infested laboratory that smells of decomposing bodies of tweakers and crack heads used in alien experimental research” is this week’s guest on The Malliard Report. With a name that conjures up images of melting heat, saguaro cacti that tower over the landscape, and creatures of all types waiting to kill you with some form of venomous bite or sting, but actually hailing from western Ohio; Arizona Tramp joins Jim to discuss UFOs, missing time incidents, and all the joy associated with podcasting.

The concept of missing time is an event that is widely associated with paranormal experiences, especially encounters with UFOs or aliens. While the event of the sighting or abduction is often the key focal point (as it should be), the whole missing time element is frequently overlooked. Strangely enough a subject that does not garner more attention in the alternative thinking communities, time and its oddities are becoming a growing topic of research and discussion in the fields of high level academia.

The idea of time and how it works is highly debated, but one thing that is quickly coming to an overall census is that the whole notion of how time works has been wrong. For most people, and for many years, time has been viewed as a linear object. While relatively, yes, this is the case (you are born, you live, you die…sorry for being totally blunt there, but it is the truth) however, as an actual “thing” it is completely incorrect.

A growing theory on how the universe works, and that could explain events like missing time (hate to crush the paranormal part of this, however, it still is very strange) lies within the idea of string theory. While explaining theory is something that would take an entire dissertation, it can be somewhat (very loose term here) explained as follows. The universe is made up of numerous interconnected “strings” and these strings (along with the entire universe) is constantly vibrating. Now it is suggested that the concept of time travel or even elements such as lost time can be explained with these vibrating strings and wave like formations. Now a postulated theory on how these elements of lost time occur can be seen like this. Imagine that you are sitting on a surf board just outside the breakers with three friends of yours. You are facing the shore while your friends are facing the surf as a large wave rolls in. They are able to ride the wave to the shore while it simply crashes over the top of you. The same amount of “time” has passed, but you and your friends are in two different locations. What if these lost time moments are simply people having a vibrating string wave crash over the top of them instead of riding it forward like the rest of the universe around them? Just something to ponder over.

The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.”

“The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings…Today no war has been declared–and however fierce the struggle may be, it may never be declared in the traditional fashion. Our way of life is under attack. Those who make themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe. The survival of our friends is in danger. And yet no war has been declared, no borders have been crossed by marching troops, no missiles have been fired.”

As President Dwight D. Eisenhower prepared to leave his presidential seat, he addressed the nation and passed on an often overlooked grave warning. John F. Kennedy in front of the American Newspaper Publishers Association decried a similar alarum. If at least sitting Presidents felt compelled to alert the American public of an ever growing power within the shadows of the government, then at the very minimum, general awareness should be spread far and wide right? This week’s guest on The Malliard Report is working to achieve such a goal.

This week Jim welcomes Dr. Jerome Corsi to the show. Jerome Corsi is an American author, political commentator, and conspiracy theorist best known for his two New York Times Best Selling books: The Obama Nation and Unfit for Command (with co-author John O’Neill); the former written in 2008 and the latter in 2004. While a rather short interview (Jerome is under the weather at the time of the interview and has a late night spot on another popular show that is heard from coast…to coast…) Jerome still crams a lot of information that if true, could be a huge revelation. So join Jim and Jerome as they discuss the shadow government and deep state, progress of the whole “draining of the swamp” movement, and the possible identity and legitimacy of “Q”.

“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.” Genesis 6:4 ESV

This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes two former guest back to the show for a collaborative effort into a potential piece of ancient history that is victim to a cover up. (Say it ain’t so!) This episode sees the return of both Chris Zuger and Denver Michaels; both of whom are leading experts in their respective fields to discuss one very large topic. Giants.

Native American lore speaks of a race of giant people that roamed the lands long before they did. Western explorers wrote of red-haired natives of great stature that could run alongside buffalo, snatch and carry them under one arm, and devour them as if they were a normal sized individual biting into a chicken leg. Countless biblical and other ancient text references riddled with giants and even sources as late as the early twentieth century recount excavating skeletal remains of abnormally large humans. In fact there are numerous New York Times articles from the 1880s through the early 1900s reporting of railroad workers digging up what they believed to be giant Native American remains.

So the question posed here is that if there are in fact was traces of a very large race of humans verified by reputable sources (at the time), what happened to them? Like many of the other times where a person or entity that is tied to power is proven to be wrong, the news goes nearly silent, and very little is heard on the subject. Just recently a US Supreme Court ruling has forced the Smithsonian to release classified papers that prove their involvement in a major historical cover up.

A number of whistle blowers from within the Smithsonian and even those that were tied to the cover-up itself have come forward stating that “…there has been a major cover up by western archaeological institutions since the early 1900s to make us believe that America was first colonized by Asian peoples migrating through the Bering Strait 15,000 years ago, when in fact, there are hundreds of thousands of burial mounds all over America which the Natives claim were there a long time before them, and that show traces of a highly developed civilization, complex use of metal alloys and where giant human skeleton remains are frequently found but still go unreported in the media and news outlets” and that “… We are hiding the truth about the forefathers of humanity, our ancestors, the giants who roamed the earth as recalled in the Bible and ancient texts of the world” The official release of these papers is scheduled for 2020.

So what will be the ramifications once these papers are finally released? The credibility of assumed pillars in the world of academia completely destroyed? Ancient texts often touted as nothing more than lore and stories proven to be correct? The whole course of our human evolution and history as a continent (and others) needing to be re-written? If these giants were an advanced civilization like some speculate, what other secrets are they hiding? What are the origins of these giants? Is it not a strange coincidence that one of the biblical terms referring to the giants is Anak and how eerily similar it is to the word Anunnaki? There are so many cans of worms that are opened here and one can barely figure out where to start.

Chris and Denver are both amazingly brilliant and researched individuals and their work reflects it. To catch up with Chris, head over to www.denoflore.com and to follow Denver’s work you can visit www.denvermichaels.net . To keep up with all things Malliard connect with us via Twitter @Malliard.

Returning to the show this week is Scott Wolter. While probably most widely known for hosting the late A&E networks H2 television show America Unearthed Scott also holds great notoriety as a forensic geologist, being the president of Minnesota-based American Petrographic Services, and developing an entirely new field of science called archaeopetrography. Archaeopetrography is a scientific based process in which mysterious stones, artifacts, and locations are dated and studied so as to better understand their origins and meanings. Scott joins Jim this week to discuss his most recent source of intrigue, The Newport Tower in Newport Rhode Island.

The Newport Tower is nestled on top of a hill in Touro Park, located in a historical residential neighborhood, on a small plot of land that was purchased by the city of Newport from the generosity of Judah Touro (who donated 10,000 dollars to the city to purchase the land in 1854 so as to not have any development occur in that location). Rather unassuming in appearance, the Tower is the centerpiece to several high profile debates and Scott is square in the middle of it with his own expert opinions.

One of the main arguments that is making the circuit in regards to The Tower is the age and actual architect of The Tower. While there are many good speculative guesses at the actual age, the only one for certain is that the tower is old. One of the first written mentions of The Tower can be found in 1677 in the will of Benedict Arnold where he mentions “….my stone built wind mill”. Some theorize that the architecture matches that of Norse buildings and that it was a church built between the 11th and 14th centuries. Another theory for The Tower is that it was built as a signal outpost for Chinese junks of the Zheng He era in 1421. There is little supporting evidence for this theory, but it is not completely disputed.

Now where does Scott come into play with these? Scott’s theory is one of the upcoming ones and is one of the most highly disputed. Scott along with writer Andrew Sinclair have put forth the hypothesis that the Newport Tower was built by medieval Scottish Templars led by Scottish earl Henry Sinclair as part of an alleged voyage to New England approximately one hundred years prior to Columbus setting sail. This theory is vigorously disputed and Scott states that this is what causes him to believe the theory even more. There are many other possible ideas out there to the origin of The Tower and its builder and more continue to pop up.

“Consumers ought to have clearer information, not opaque policies and complex click-through consent pages. The tech industry has an obligation to respond to widespread and growing concerns over data privacy and security and to restore the public’s trust. The status quo no longer works. Moreover, Congress must determine if and how we need to strengthen privacy standards to ensure transparency and understanding for the billions of consumers who utilize these products.”

“If you and other social media companies do not get your act in order, none of us are going to have any privacy anymore. That’s what we are facing. We’re talking about personally identifiable information that, in not kept by the social media companies from theft, a value that we have in America, being our personal privacy, we wont have it anymore.”

While these, along with many other scathing words, were launched at Mark Zuckerberg by congressional members as he shifted and squirmed in his little booster seat, one could not help but scream in agony at the palpable hypocrisy of the entire situation. The very same members of Congress that continue to allow organizations such as the NSA, and CIA to openly spy and illegally collect personal data on its citizens lectured the social media giant for four hours on the “dangers” of allowing data to be so free and accessible. Only in America (a place that brags about unprecedented “Freedom” by its citizens) can a case of irony so stupendous in size like this play out.

This week on The Malliard Report Jim Welcomes back Trip Elix to the show to discuss the three ring circus that is the Facebook Congressional hearings, Zuckerberg himself and much more. Trip Elix a former hacker turned author and personal advocate has started the ItsMyInfo.org campaign to help people keep their information out of the distributing hands of the large data mining companies. Stating that “I watched the internet evolve; I witnessed unparalleled innovation and creativity with a leveling of sorts. The story of the individual making a difference for humanity is what the net is all about. It was why Tim Berners-Lee left his creation it to the world. Equally common people now have a platform, and ability to share with others, though the vision of Zuckerberg. After the invention of Facebook countless other services came online. It created the platform and a movement for the world to follow.” Trip urges for a more free and secured internet, but like many of us, fears the Orwellian dystopic nightmare that we continue to race towards.

To follow Trip you can find all of his information on his websites www.itsmyinfo.org and www.tripelix.com or follow him on Twitter @trip_elix. Make sure to keep of with The Malliard Report via Twitter @Malliard and don’t forget to share the show.

John Trudel has led an interesting life to say the least. From graduating in an elite level of electronic engineering and research, chasing an elusive doctoral degree, to bouncing around in the back of an airplane in the height of the Vietnam War testing new electronic intelligence and weapons systems in varying Special Operations missions as a civilian. John has found himself as an advisor to the Secretary of Defense, the developer of the first automobile radar detector (a personal huge “Thank You” for that one!), and as a consultant for a number of large, world-wide tech firms. John’s latest endeavors however is one of his favorites; writing.

This week on The Malliard Report John is the featured guest and joins Jim in discussion about the current unrestful state of information security, the growing collection of novels that he has written and one of the most unusual declassified CIA programs to date.

Operation Stargate. No not the movie from 1994 with Kurt Russel and James Spader (while a bit dated, is still actually a halfway decent movie) but rather a classified program ran by the CIA in 1970s through the 1990s in an attempt to use remote viewing to gather intelligence and influence Russian operations. .

Originally falling under a handful of different names (Project Gondola Wish, Grill Flame, Center Lane, Sun Streak, and Scanate) the projects eventually merged together under the Stargate moniker. With a purpose “To provide an overview on remote viewing focusing on definitions, operations, management, participation, benefits, primary and secondary methodologies, categories of taskings, types of targets, and operational methodology” the program studied many different elements to remote viewing. One of the most astounding take aways from this program is that within the actual documents themselves, from the CIA website archives, it states that remote viewing is “ accessing information without the use of: The normal five senses, Information from other people, Logical deductions, Direct connective implementation of electronic or other devices.” Remote viewing is also declared as “A talent which is inherent to every human to some degree. Probably a vestigial form of self-preservation. Largely ignored in today’s societal setting. Through proper training, can be developed to a person’s individual potential”.

The program allegedly ended in 1995 with the results stating that remote viewing should not be used as a “stand alone source” for information but “Remote Viewers can be used as Collectors in Conjunction with other Intelligence Sources Throughout the DoD Intelligence Community [sic].” Pretty crazy huh?

Make sure to head over to www.johntrudel.com to keep up to date with his latest events, order his books, and to follow his blogs. He can be also be reached via Twitter @JohnDTrudel. June 10, 2009, a creepy pasta thread found within the Something Awful forum bore witness to the birth of a modern day mythological monster. Described as unnaturally tall, thin, sporting a black suit and tie, and having a white featureless face, the tentacle sprouting Slender Man has terrorized horror fans for nearly a decade through many different mediums. Unlike many other fictional fan favorites, the line between reality and make-believe seems to have been greatly blurred and getting worse as time goes on. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes back distinguished guest Nick Redfern to the show to discuss whether or not this is simply digital folklore that has gotten out of control, or the possibility of this having become an actual tulpa set loose into our world.

Seeing as how the Slender Man’s backstory has no real “official” canon, his appearance, abilities, habits, motives, etc. change dependent on who is telling the story. The common imagery with Slender Man is that of a very large gaunt figure with no face stalking through the woods. He wears a black suit and tie, and is said to have (again varies from story to story) multiple tentacle like arms sprouting from his back. It is often claimed that being within close proximity of the Slender Man can induce “Slender Sickness” which is described as “rapid onset paranoia, nightmares and delusions, often accompanied with severe nosebleeds” in addition to interfering with audio and video equipment. Motives of the Slender Man have been shown to target children and young adults as its “prey.”

The Slender Man was originally created in a Something Awful thread as a Photoshop contest where users were challenged to take every-day photos and make them appear paranormal. Under the username “Victor Surge”, Eric Knudsen submitted a handful of pictures with a tall, thin, spectral figure, wearing a black suit with bits of text added to resemble tellings from individuals that may have found themselves within the presence of that being. The quotes that Eric added to the photos read:

“We didn’t want to go, we didn’t want to kill them, but its persistent silence and outstretched arms horrified and comforted us at the same time… — 1983, Photographer Unknown, presumed dead”

“One of two recovered photographs from the Stirling City Library blaze. Notable for being taken the day which fourteen children vanished and for what is referred to as “The Slender Man”. Deformities cited as film defects by officials. Fire at library occurred one week later. Actual photograph confiscated as evidence. – 1986, Photographer: Mary Thomas, missing since June 13, 1986”.

These images accompanied by the subsequent text instantly shot the story into internet lore status and generated a flurry of follow on content. Today you can now find video games, a series of web shorts, and countless other stories however, unfortunately like many other things people have taken this fictional (maybe?) idea and gone too far.

May 31, 2014 in Waukesha, Wisconsin 12 year-olds Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser lured friend Payton Leutner into the woods near their home where they stabbed Leutner 19 times as a sacrifice to appease the Slender Man. Leutner miraculously survived the ordeal and was able to drag herself to a nearby road where she was discovered by a passing cyclist. Weier and Geyser were soon picked up by local police walking down the interstate carrying the knife they had used to stab Leutner. Leutner recovered and returned to school the following year while Weier and Geyser were both committed to state mental institutions in 2017 for extended periods of time. (Weier 25 years, and Geyser 40 years)

Jim and Nick also discuss the possibility of the Slender Man becoming a tulpa, the power of combined consciousness, and much more. It is always a privilege to have Nick on the show. You can find all of Nick’s books through Amazon and many other online retailers and you can keep up with all of his latest on www.nickredfernfortean.blogspot.com For all things Malliard head over to Malliard.com or connect through Twitter @Malliard.

In the time between the original airing of this podcast and its posting for preservation, a number of events have unfolded in such a manner it was as if the guest could see into the future. Or maybe it was more obvious than anticipated; either way, the eerily predictions that were made have come to fruition, and seem to be getting only worse for those involved in the upper levels in the field. This of course is the huge data mining/selling/vulnerability that was exposed with Facebook. In this episode, Jim’s guest Ellie Maloney makes the prediction that big data and data mining and selling from large companies will be one of the problems in the near future, and it so happened that this came true. In a recent expose’ , a former lead with Facebook blew the whistle and now Zuckerberg continues to face severe backlash.

In a recent interview, whistle blower Sandy Parakilas stated that “…one Facebook executive advised him against looking too deeply at how the data was being used, warning him: ‘Do you really want to see what you’ll find?’ Parakilas said he interpreted the comment to mean that ‘Facebook was in a stronger legal position if it didn’t know about the abuse that was happening’. He added: “They felt that it was better not to know. I found that utterly shocking and horrifying.” In addition to this these claims, Zuckerberg is now being formally requested to appear before the cultural committee for the UK, EU, and the US for an oral evidence session.

In addition to the somewhat prophetic nature of this episode, Ellie and Jim discuss very interesting topics for this show. One of the most perplexing questions presented is why have we not been back to the moon. Some claim that the cost and benefit of sending explorers to the moon is not worth the investment, others say there was no other reason after beating the Russians in the race. These are all plausible, but what if there was something else? With all of the heavy redactions on transcripts, missing footage and photos, and a number of other glaring oddities one can only question the story and is left theorizing what could be.

Jim and Ellie also discuss Area 51, quantum consciousness, ancient aliens, aliens meddling with our affairs, and others. “Ellie in a previous life, was a lawyer specializing in human rights. Now she writes fiction, consumes massive amounts of late night comedy and politics, collects typewriters, and lives all over the world with her spouse and a 5-yo Newfoundland dog. She lived, worked, and studied in such countries as Kosovo, Ukraine, Liberia, Albania, and the United States.” You can find Ellie’s book 329 Years Awake on Amazon and through her website www.elliemaloney.com . Ellie can be found on all social media (including Facebook) and enjoys hearing from readers. It is no surprise that conspiracy theories are a regular staple here on The Malliard Report. While a large number of people question the given narrative for many of the events that take place, (and the Las Vegas shooting is no exception) there is still an element that is often overlooked within the conspiracy circles. More often than not, a number of events are in fact orchestrated, or at a minimum allowed to happen, but there is a human element still attached to these situations. People still are affected by the events in many different ways, especially those that unfortunately bare witness first hand.

This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes Bryan Hopkins to the show. Bryan is a slightly different guest than the usual line up, in the fact that Bryan has no background in the paranormal or conspiratorial. Bryan is a full time musician; front-man/ lead singer for the band Elvis Monroe. The success of Elvis Monroe is not why Bryan and Jim sit down for this episode. It was the events that transpired on October 1, 2017.

Wanting to see Jason Aldean perform from the viewpoint of the crowd and “fanboy” with the rest of the people, Bryan and guitarist Ben Carey left the backstage area and moved their way to the front of the stage. Not long after chaos ensued. As shots rang out and people began to scatter, Bryan sprang into action. Grabbing two women and having survival mode kick into full gear Bryan began to flee for the backstage area. Discovering a large refrigeration truck, Bryan led the women into the safety and waited while hell unfolded around him.

Bryan’s story is far more in-depth that what can be provided here, harrowing to say the least, and to hear him tell it adds a human element that many conspiracy heads tend to forget. To check out Bryan’s band Elvis Monroe you can find them on Spotify, iTunes, and many other music streaming services (no paid advert here). In 1942 the Office for Strategic Services (OSS) began covertly planting military leaders and experts into journalism circles so as to influence the direction of public opinion through news and other forms of media under the code name “Operation Mockingbird.” This continued on “officially” until 1948’s passing of the Smith-Mundt Act. In essence the Smith-Mundt Act eliminated propaganda from media outlets, however, this seemed to be more of an attempt to prevent overt propaganda and completely forgot the more subversive attempts at subliminally reaching the public. In 2013 the Smith-Mundt Act was repealed under the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013, and coincidently enough there was an increase in movies that romanticize certain elements and a major schism occurred in an already divided media.

Operation Mockingbird (like many other “conspiracy theories”) is a confirmed program through FOIA requests and happens to be one this week’s guest on The Malliard report’s favorite conspiracies. For this episode, Jim welcomes the likes of Sean Ras to the show. Sean is a fellow podcaster, conspiracy theorist, and all around hunter for the truth. Jim and Sean both got their start around the same time and share a mutual acquaintance that helped them onto the path that they both are on today.

This is a great episode that covers a lot of conspiratorial ground in a short amount of time. Sean shares his thoughts on the JFK assassination, Operations Mockingbird and Paperclip, certain popular conspiratorial, Texas based radio hosts, the Parkland shooting, 9/11, Chemtrails, and many others. Sean is very open about how his views have continually shifted as he learns more, and believes that many share the same views as him. So go ahead, hit play, and enjoy this episode already. “I only wear underwear with little pictures of Santa Claus on them, because then not matter what mood I’m in, it’s always Christmas…in my pants.” This week on The Malliard Report, Jim features a Tarot reader, ghost hunter, and a standup comedienne which happen to be all the same person; the talented and very funny Karen Rontowski.

Originally from Pittsfield Massachusetts, Karen has been a full time comedienne for almost twenty years. Deciding to pursue her dream and follow in the footsteps of her inspiration Gracie Allen, Karen left the northeast and soon found herself in Las Vegas. After her stint in Vegas Karen continued her westward journey and eventually wound up in San Diego California where she became a regular at the Comedy Store and The Improv. Karen today continues to see success in her comedy career and has been featured on shows such as The Tonight Show with David Letterman, and has rubbed elbows with some of the biggest names in the industry (Jay Leno, Sinbad, and many others).

As a described “elegant hippie” (according to a Cosmo quiz she took) she aspires to live up to her Bohemian moniker. Not only has she found great success within the entertainment world, Karen is also an established paranormal investigator and tarot reader. Karen shares that one of her favorite parts of touring on the comedy circuit is her ability to visit many different paranormal locations for investigations. Karen also discusses that even as common place as paranormal material is today, people still seem unsure and uneasy when it comes to discussing. Even in a comedic sense, she has learned that are boundaries still to what people are okay with, and what they consider “too dark” when it comes to paranormal.

Karen is a very funny individual and this is a great episode. Karen shares what drives her as a performer, what got her into Tarot readings, some of her favorite places to investigate, and her soon to launch podcast. You can keep up with her very busy tour schedule, schedule a Tarot reading with her, or just connect with her in general through her website at www.karenrontowski.com or through social media @rontowski . There have been a lot of major news worthy events over the last few weeks and it is always interesting to see what you dear listener have to say about it.

On February 6, 2018 Elon Musk launched a groundbreaking payload into space, and secured himself into the history books of modern science. While it may seem a tad gimmicky launching your very own personal roadster into space with the likes of David Bowie blasting through the speakers, it goes far deeper than that. While the motto for “Starman” was “Don’t Panic”, it is safe to say that the government sector may very well be doing just that. The Falcon Heavy launch was more than just being able to send a Tesla to the stars, it was am enormous leap for the private sector; showing the world how bloated and unnecessary government programs have been.

The prime example of the now completely inefficient nature of government programs can be seen simply in the operating costs of the two different platforms. For NASA to launch any sort of payload it costs the program 59,000 dollars a kilogram to launch. For the SPACE X program it costs a mere 49 dollars a kilogram. Yes that is correct. The SPACE X program is able to operate at .001% of that of NASA. As to why these costs are so dramatically different is another story for another day, but the bottom line is that it has been shown the private sector is able to operate beyond the capabilities of that of government entities and in a far more efficient manner.

In addition to the brilliance of the Falcon Heavy launch, one takeway that can be gleaned from the event is the stunning views of the Earth that were captured during the on board filming. The photographs that showed in great detail the Earth, its continents, its weather patterns, and of course its shape. We’ll just end this part of the conversation there.

During this episode Jim poses a question that certainly is one to get the ol’ noodle going on several different fronts. The 1960s was one of the most pivotal decades in modern history. The 60s bore witness to The British Invasion, multiple major social movements, and two of the biggest events in human and conspiratorial history; The Moon landing and the assassination of John F Kennedy. While conspiracies are one of the top subjects for The Malliard Report, this episode will not get into depth as to what exactly happened, but rather pose the question “which was the bigger event?”

On this episode you will hear some familiar voices to the show that share some very thought provoking ideas and it is encouraged for you to share yours. So head over to www.malliard.com or connect via Twitter @Malliard and let us know what your thoughts on the events are or any others.

This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes the Safety Doc, Dr. David Perrodin to the show to discuss one of the major events that happened just recently (depending on when you are listening to this episode), the Mandela and butterfly effects, how easily people can be persuaded to believe certain things, and how effective his podcast featuring Jim might have been at changing the narrative to a major news story.

January 13, 2018, at 8:07 a.m. local time residents of Hawaii received an official emergency alert that stated “Ballistic missile threat impound to Hawaii. Seek immediate shelter. This is not a drill.” For 38 long minutes, residents, confused and terrified, sought out shelter, called and texted loved ones, and wondered what was next. After what must have felt like an eternity, word eventually got around that this was a false alert. As the news continues on alongside an ongoing investigation to what exactly transpired that day, we are left with more questions than answers, the feeling that something is being hidden from us (go figure), and that again we are not getting the full story. We may never know what exactly happened, but here are a few ideas:

The threat was real, and the missile was shot down: The amount of time it takes an ICBM to travel from Southeast Asia to Hawaii is approximately 20-30 min (~10 min to hit ICBM max speed of 7 km/s, ~7200 km, (7200/7)/ (60) = ~17 min for total travel time of ~27 min, not accounting for earth’s rotation in that time period). The amount of time it took for the false alarm to be sent out was 38 min. he way the US’s ABM system works is that they basically launch a giant chunk of metal at the ICBM and hit it really hard. The ABMs have no ordinance or anything, they just destroy the incoming missile through shear impact. However, even though our ABM system is the best in the world, it’s still only successful around 50% of the time. So when the incoming threat was discovered, it would still be protocol to alert the intended target of the threat in the event that the ABM systems fail. This is a plausible theory however one argument that could refute this is “why would the US not tell us they shot down an enemy ICBM”? Most likely reason is that the President does not want war. While the President may put on an air of bravado he may realize that it is not beneficial to declare a war where no casualties were involved. When one of these missiles goes off the US pretty much immediately knows where it’s going and where it came from. So if there was a real threat, the US Government is for whatever reason not sharing this information with the public. Maybe they don’t want to cause panic.

Another possibility as to what happened is that the event was staged. This theory is one that seems to have gained some of the most traction out of the numerous ideas that have been spread around. In an attempt to distract the main stream media from policies that the President may be trying to pursue a “fake” threat was ordered so to allow the alternative motives would be obscured by the threat. Alternately there is the notion that a fake threat was issued so as to show other world powers that we have an effective early warning system and/or to test public response to see how they would respond in the event of a real threat.

The third one to consider (there are many others) is that the system malfunctioned. This happens more often than you would think. The early alert systems are very sensitive. They’re a lot better than they used to be, but they’ve detected false missiles before. There are reports of them being triggered by sunlight reflecting off large pieces of metal. They’re sensitive for a reason. Additionally, the large spike in recent meteor sightings could very well be a factor in the triggering of the false alarm. So possibly in an effort to prevent people panicking over a faulty early warning system, the government blamed a bumbling employee.

One thing that is for certain is that there is a lot of weird “circumstances” involving the incident, and things are not getting any better. David and Jim discuss this in depth and David provides some really good insight to what he believes it may be.
