Hello! We are Tufty and Bones (Susanna and Léonie), two friends who met on board a missionary ship, now being made to trade fresh sea air for house-bound isolation. Times are tough, but we are here to try and bring some joy and comfort in the midst of the confusion and frustration. Let's walk through this together- one day at a time.
Lockdown no. 2 is upon us and so is a new episode of Manna in the Midst. Bones shares a personal story of how she has approached dealing with big questions. Every Christian will (and probably should) encounter moments of doubt in their walk with God. In this episode, Bones offers 5 tips on how to manage the discomfort of faith questions.
In this episode, Tufty shares about the incredible way technology has changed our world in recent decades, as well as how it has subtlety transformed our relationships with others and ourselves. In this episode, be prepared for many silly conversations and giggles as Bones exposes herself, we educate you on the eating habits of badgers, and discover that washing your hair with mayo may actually be a good idea.

In this episode, Tufty and Bones discuss what the Bible says about justice, what it means, and how we can live it out day to day.
In this episode, Tufty engages in the conversation of race. Through sharing the words of black friends, authors, and the suffering psalmist, she hopes to encourage you to continue reading, praying and being willing to become uncomfortable. ps. apologies for the number of 'ums'

The Bible is a book we have received from God and it can teach us so much about life in step with Him. For the first 10 years of my Christian life, I read it, but never really delved deep into the words that are there for us. In this podcast episode, I share about DBS (a Bible study method) and how it can help you to become more aware of the depth of Scripture.
Be blessed as you listen!
Enjoy an episode filled with fun tunes. Tufty and Bones discuss childhood favourite melodies, jams to start the day with, songs with a story and worship music. Stay tuned (pun intended) till the end of the episode to hear a rendition of Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus, one of our favourites.
