This parable points out the determination and effort the world puts forth towards it's sinful works, and how we as Believers, make minimal effort with the vast amount of living word within us to be about God's business. This was a personal wake-up call to become a diligent worker for Christ and make every effort to be accountable for the tasks he has given me. I pray it encourages your faith walk, because this is not the season to be a slacker in Christ!
