GBO in Yoruba means listen , it is also a one woman show/audio drama, where a girl plays with different accents and voices to represent different characters and draw your attention to somewhat important matters.
When you are asked to introduce yourself, after your name and maybe age, you most likely will say what you do for work before you say you're a parent or like playing tennis on Sunday evenings. Talking about your work or what you do for a living signals to the listener that you are someone who contributes significantly to the society, people need to know that.
But what if you leave your fancy sounding job title and take up a new title - unemployed, in between jobs … jobless
That is what these women did in this episode and we want to talk about what it is like to quit a job without, well… a new one.
