David Bascome, born in Smith, Bermuda, started his soccer career with North Village Rams at the age of 7yrs playing the Forward position. At the age of 16, Bascome played his 1st division team with the National Youth Team in Bermuda. After four years of playing, he signed his professional contract with the Harrisburg Heat of the National Professional Soccer League, USA at the age of 20. Bascome went on to play 18 seasons with the MISL/NPSL (Indoor Soccer League). He played for the North Village Rams (Bermuda), Harrisburg Heat, Denver Thunder, Baltimore Blast, all pro indoor and the Harrisburg City Islanders, pro outdoor.
Jamal Jackson, born in Mesa, Arizona is preparing to graduate next week from North Atlanta HS & embark on his next stage of life at Appalachian State University as a true Quarterback.
Raised in Atlanta, GA since the age of 1, Jackson started playing football at 4 years old. A few years later he took up baseball & basketball which eventually led him to earning the Captain & MVP accolades for both his high school and AAU basketball teams. Jackson who holds a 3.9 GPA is a Future Business Leaders of America/Top 10 Percent-Freshman Class honoree & a graduate of the Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation.

Robert Williams McQuarters, II aka ‘RW' was born in Tulsa, Ok and is a NFL Corner Back. He attended Oklahoma State University and was drafted in the 1st Round of the '98 NFL Draft by San Francisco 49'ers. Playing over a decade in the league, RW also played for the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and currently with the New York Giants, who won Super Bowl XLII. It was RW's key interception in the 2008 NFC Divisional playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys that sealed the Giant's passage to the Super Bowl. Not only was RW a standout college football player, he also played basketball 3 years for the OSU Cowboys. He attended Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, where he also played basketball for legendary coach Nate Harris, who coached the 1996 McDonald's High School All-American West Team. This hard hitting CB proudly displays his specialty band aids when he is on the field. RW formed the McQuarters Foundation that provides financial support to promote literacy and is a proud partner with First Book Organization. RW resides in Oklahoma during the off season and is currently working on his Construction Management degree.
Fred Baxter, born in Brundidge Alabama, is a former NFL Tight End with a 12 year career span. He attended Pike County HS, where he led his team to the state championship his senior year. Off the field, he was the SGA President and graduated from the Advanced Program. Baxter attended Auburn University & was drafted by the New York Jets in the 5th round of the ’93 Draft. Baxter also played for the Bears and earned the coveted XXXVIII Super Bowl victory playing for the New England Patriots in the 2002-03 Season. Life after football, Fred started the Fred Baxter Foundation in 2000 to empower and support the at-risk youth, families below poverty levels and strongly supports various churches. He is extremely active in supporting various charities & communities nationwide. He and his wife Lisa, currently lives in NJ, where he works as a mentor for the Camden School System covering the S. Jersey and Delaware Valley areas. Baxter is the proud father of Brittany and Kellan.
Trevor Ruffin born in Buffalo, NY, is a former Point Guard, who played in both the NBA & ABA. He attended Bennett High School & played for Arizona Western Community College and the University of Hawaii . Ruffin became a free agent in ‘94 & signed with the Phoenix Suns. During his rookie year, he averaged 29.2 points per his 40 minute playing time=5 points to 6.5 minutes per game. He played his following year with the Philadelphia 76ers. Although he only started in 24 games & played only 2 years in the NBA, he was best known for providing an instant offense due to his immediate point production coming off the bench. From 1997-2004, he played overseas in France , Greece and Turkey & in 2001 he earned the Europe ( Sweden ) MVP award. Ruffin played for his hometown Buffalo Rapids/Silverbacks in ’05. After a career ending injury, he returned as the interim head coach following the resignation of Richard Jacob. Ruffin currently lives in Atlanta where he is the Assistant Head Coach for the North Atlanta HS Varsity Basketball Team and has two children, Trevor and Kendell.

Kenny Anderson, who is from Queens, New York, is former NBA All Star Point Guard, whose street, school, high school & college basketball skills made him one of the best prospects in America. He garnered the Parade All-American honor 3 times, an honor that has yet to be accomplished since Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Anderson’s astonishing college career @ GA Tech, had him teamed up with Dennis Scott & Brian Oliver, formerly known as the “Lethal Weapon 3”. Drafted 1st Round/2nd pick of the ’91 NBA draft, he played over a decade w/the Nets, Hornets, Trail Blazers, Celtics, Supersonics, Pacers, Hawks, Clippers & Euro league BC Žalgiris. He’s best remembered for his controversial shot @ the end of regulation that forced an OT vs. Michigan State, w/a Jacket’s victory. Currently, Anderson is attending St. Thomas University earning his BA, & coaches for the Extreme Sports League’s Hombres. In his spare time, he hosts youth basketball camps & prepares college prospects for the NBA draft.
Bob “Big Whit” Whitfield, was born October 18, 1971 in Carson, CA. He played 15 years in the NFL, drafted in the 1st round as the 8th pick, out of Stanford. He played with the Atlanta Falcons for 11 years, the Jacksonville Jaguars for a year, and his last two years with the New York Giants, before retiring. His career span from 1992-2006, with stats of 220 games played, with 176 as a starter, 5 fumble recoveries and a selection each to the All Pro & Pro Bowl teams. Since retiring from the NFL, he spends most of his time with his 4 children, who is dubbed as the great bi-coastal father and is at the helm of his business, one of the nation’s top recording studio, Patchwerks Recordings located in Atlanta, GA.
This week we will feature Former NFL All Pro Seth Joyner. He was a standout line backer for his great 13 yr NFL career with the Eagles, Cardnals, Packers and finishing up his career with the Denver Broncos were he was part of there Super Bowl team with Pro football Hall of Famer John Elway.He was a major part of that Buddy Ryan Deffense with the Eagles alongside Reggie Whit Byron Evans Eric Allen as well as Wes Hopkins and Andre Waters
