Maddy Espinoza (IG: @Maddy.Espinozaa) is an amazing teenage crossfit athlete. She recently qualified for her first crossfit games and is heading to Wisconsin to compete against the best in the world. However, Maddy is only 14 years old, just finished her freshmen year in high school and had to battle numerous obstacles to get to where she is today.
Maddy was the new kid at school, had to face bullying issues because she is buff (aka rip, aka #SwolePatrol) and had a different body than most teenagers. She had to standup to the "mean girls" and most teenagers can truly go down a dark hole because of this... but not Maddy. She used this negative energy to dedicate herself to her training and to meet her goals of competing in the games.
Maddy is an amazing kid, listen to her story on how she overcame obstacles and is now living out her dream.
