'THE HOT BOX' with Gary Turner PODCASTS

Gary Turner has been spinning soulful and latin jazz-tinged tunes for 30+ years. GT is resident dj with Snowboy at 'Soul at The Pavilion' and also runs the every sucessful 'SOUL@THESHIP' nights Upstairs at The Ship Hotel in Leigh on Sea, Essex, SS9 2EA.

What hits the ZERO RADIO decks during the 'THE HOT BOX' sessions depends every much as to what's hot at the moment but also not forgetting the many wonderful choooons of yesteryear.

There usually a large portion of latin, salsa and latin influenced platters as well as jazz funk, fusion, 'nu-jazz' and left-field soul. I may flit about across Club musical styles but it's only the best that hits the decks!

Each week under 'Tom's Hot Picks' and 'Tony's Top Trio' I play a tune or more sent in by my DJ friends. The 'Deep & Meaningful' slot is a great opportunity to play something slower and cerebral.
