Ever been scrolling through social media and just had this chilling realization. This realization that there are so many voices with conflicting views and varying answers. Even on the same side, people are correcting people for not saying things the right way through emotional reactions. But you stayed there in the loop for so long that sometimes it seeps into your personal life. Everyone seems self-centered online, and you've found yourself to be one of them.
Them, the crowd. Defending themselves against the other mob. You feel like all this fighting is purposeless. Like, we are fighting a stupid war. If you disagree with only apart of what someone says, you are the enemy. And you dislike that. You despise the way the world is online. So you shut the screen. You stop, but now you're behind. You don't know what's going around all over the world. Yet everyone seems to be able to regurgitate part of an article that they've read. And you do the same. You don't criticize, you observe. And you repeat what you've seen. And everyone's so busy defending themselves that your true words were destroyed by the masses.
You know that feeling. Right? Or am I alone. If I am-so be it, I'm going to say what I want until someone actually listens and conversate without pc culture having any more say at what is acceptable in my personal life.
