"VeeVee's POV" (point of view), is hosted and produced by actress and screenwriter, VeeVee. This radio talk show will feature the latest in entertainment, news, and issues we face today. The show will be geared towards our youth and adults to motivate, educate, and empower them. This show will also feature special guests in all areas of expertise -including conversations and interviews, focusing on real life situations and compelling stories. The listeners will get a chance to contribute to on-air discussions, and may call-in to ask questions during the show at (424) 258-9319.
Gerri Helms is a Certified Spiritual Coach and Dynamic Speaker, with twenty-five years experience in the corporate setting. She started her coaching practice in 2006, helping people with life changes, spiritual goals and in the area of weight loss and maintenance, having lost over one hundred pounds and maintaining that for seventeen plus years.
Gerri is the author of Trust God and Buy Broccoli, A Spiritual Approach to Weight Loss, published in 2007, helping many who have not experienced permanent weight loss. She is also a contributing author to The ART of Grandparenting. Her chapter, Instant Grandma, is considered the most humorous in the book! Lee Darnell is a lifelong public servant as well as a professional actor & film producer. He has been a licensed paramedic and police officer for 19 years. Much of his career has been spent as a manager and educator helping mold the next generation of emergency responders. His latest opportunity was to serve as a paramedic on oil spill clean up boats in the Gulf of Mexico.
Lee has also been an actor since his childhood when he became involved in local theater productions. As an adult he has expanded his craft to include television and film work. Now he is trying his hand at film producing as well.
Although having a master's degree in business administration and business experience he says that serving his community and being a performer will forever be his life's focus and passion.

After medical training at the University of Southern California and the Los Angeles County General Hospital, Dr. Kirschner entered medical practice in the San Fernando Valley as a family physician.
In 1961 there were very few doctors with his pubic health experience. This soon led to volunteering in various health related programs, such as the Regional Medical Disaster Program, the Red Cross Disaster and Blood program, the Home Health Association, Visiting Nurse Association, Hospice, several committees on biomedical issues, adviser to the California Health Law Revision Committee, Single Payer Health Care for All, Physicians for a National Health Plan, California Physicians Alliance and other health-related activities.
He has also written numerous articles, letters and Op Ed pieces and appeared on radio, television and lectured on health care issues at many venues. Recently retired from medical practice, he continues to volunteer for many health oriented community programs.
This book is a collection of essays by Dr. Kirschner, regarding some of the many unresolved health care, pharmaceutical and insurance issues that his patients have shared with him during his forty-seven years of family medical practice.

Elizabeth Turner was born and raised in the beautiful state of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is the youngest of 5 children whom were all raised in Happy Hill Gardens, which were the projects. She had her first child at the age of 17 and from there her life was one rocky road. Today, she is the mother of 3 wonderful children, David 21, Brittany 18 & Eric 14. She also has a grandson, Jayden 14 months old. She left NC back in 2004 headed for Florida to follow an unknown dream.
She has been writing poetry and stories since she was in elementary school. Once she settled in Jacksonville Florida she decided to continue writing and one day decided to write a stage play. At the time she wasn’t sure what she was going to call it but she knew that it was going to be about brotherhood and sisterhood. She has experiences so much in her lifetime including being homeless that she felt the need to try to help at least one person.
Today, she has a 17 cast member play titled “My Brotha-My Sista” that is set to debut in January 2011. The production has been asked to be brought to several states and cities throughout the United States. This production will be available on DVD as well as a soundtrack that is currently in the production stage as we speak. Also, she has a book of poetry titled “Not Looking Back” that will be available in December.
Saprina Willis is a native of Syracuse, NY and currently resides in Raleigh, NC. She is married with 4 children and works as a nurse although her first passion is acting/writing. She has done theatre work with the Paul Robeson Center of Syracuse, NY, where she played ''Young Mary McLeod Bethune'' in a tribute to Mary McLeod Bethune.
She has performed in other stage plays such as ''Bang No More'', ''Life, Love and the Pursuit of Happiness’’, and also appeared as an extra in the movie '' Notorious B.I.G.’’ This definitely will not be the last time seeing Saprina as she climbs the wall of success.

Born in New York City in 1976, he has grown up in a cultural/racial melting pot. In the mid-1980s, he moved to Aiken, South Carolina in the fifth grade. Ever since 1992, he has lived in Augusta, Georgia and considers it a perfect fit.

Kendrick Smith landed a co-starring role on NBC and Jerry Brucheimer's new TV show, "Chase" Episode 103 titled "Repo". Kendrick will be playing the role of "Clive Barnes".
Kendrick graduated from LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tennessee, with a double degree in Biology and Chemistry. He also attended the Houston Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Mr. Smith has worked on feature films such as; “21 Grams”, “American Cartel”, “Rent A Car”, “On Time”, “American Dream” and “Hustle & Flow” just to name a few. In television, Kendrick hosted on “Brother 2 Brother TV Show”, Co-hosted on “American Soul”, has played parts in “Diamond Jack Casino”, and has been in numerous commercials including “Hurricane Beer” and “Canyon Café”. In print he has been on advertisements for “Miller Lite” and “General Mills”.
Mr. Smith was C-47 Houston's October 2008 LimeLight feature actor, and will appear in the feature film "Blood Out" with Val Kilmer and Multi-Platinum Artist (50 Cent ).
