The Party Garbage LP is a glitched transmission that follows the titular character, OC-666, after returning to their home planet from an undisclosed mission. While grateful to return home to their loved ones, the planet has become ravaged by greed, pollution, and excess, enabled by unsatiated despots and theocrats. Demons thrive in this milieu by selling and encouraging addiction to a drug known as Party Garbage, leading to unregulated mutation amongst the planet’s inhabitants. The lead single, Live Forever, Make it Better finds OC-666 rebounding from the pits of despair filled with hope and armed with a plan to save their imprisoned family inthecity, only to ultimately find themselves inthetrenches of all out war.

We are very sad to report that The GribCat, also known as Mr. Titan, has passed away. He was such a vocal cat that he ended up in several episodes of The GribCast and even one of our original songs. In this tribute LadyMsGee joins The Gribshnobler to give some history and reminiscence of the GribCat; his life, his passing, fun memories, his positive influence in our own lives and others. We also share a deleted clip from the previous episode in which Rand Kelly meets Mr. Titan and discusses cats and other pets. At the end we play two songs that remind us of the GribCat, by Willie Nelson and Nobuo Uematsu with Emiko Shiratori.

I am in the middle of moving right now and have not had time to edit anything new, so I figured this would be a good time for another GribClassic.

In this GribClassic, The Gribshnobler talks briefly about what was his new job at the time and the making of the first episode. Then he is joined again by LadyMsGee for an extended discussion of the films of italian director Lina Wertmuller. with special focus on the recently viewed "The Seduction of Mimi", "The Belle Starr Story" and "All Screwed Up". After some announcements The Gribshnobler discusses the late Robin Williams and his work with Lady Miss Gee, who also opens up about her own struggles with depression. The last half hour features further discussion and statements about Williams from other friends and family, including Hannah, musician John Demarkis, The Great Niccolini, Ryon Wells, and Lady Miss Gee's niece (Little Miss Lady A) and sister (Michelle). The Gribshnobler and The Contrarian watch the classic 1943 Disney short Applecore, starring Donald Duck and Chip & Dale and directed by Jack Hannah.

The Contrarian had an idea for a podcast in which he and I watch single cartoon shorts or episodes together, so we decided we could try it out as a sort of sub-podcast. The idea is that most of the time we will do a commentary with further discussion afterwards, with most of the episodes being on the shorter side, although we will probably break from the formula as needed.

This is our first go at it so let us know what you think.

In the tenth episode of The GribCast, The Gribshnobler is joined for the first time by his friend The Contrarian. Together they spend most of the episode comparing Orson Scott Card's novel Ender's Game to the recent film adaptation.  Along the way they also ramble about Batman, other sci-fi and comic adaptations, and a few more random things.  Spoiler Alert!!
