This week I'm sharing some things near and dear to my heart. Today, what can we do to get things grooving better with our wives, girl-friends, or significant others? It today's world, it can feel like it's just take, take, take... it can be lonely, lots of rejection... then, to get home and not be on the same page as our SO... truly heartbreaking!
In a great relationship, joy is amplified and pain is minimized.
In a bad relationship the joy is minimized, but the PAIN is AMPLIFIED!
I’ve lived with both.
Honestly, I lived far TOO LONG in that bad relationship but it helped me to understand how to show up more powerfully and present for my wife, Autumn, and our kids Jamie and Evie.
To save you some headache and heartache I recorded this short clip to share with you the #1 secret I’ve found to having an amazing relationship after working with families and kids for over 25 years.
Initially it can be a bit challenging but when you experience the impact it makes on your partner, it’s literally life-changing.
And, so incredibly powerful for your children to witness, too.
And now, what are YOU going to do about it?
Today we're talking with Dr. Nick Sotelo about how Dads can have a better relationship and influence with their teens, brain development, stages of masculine development and more.
Dr. Nick is a well experienced in child development, marriage therapy, and has a PhD in psychology.
Be sure to visit https://nicksotelo.com/ for more on him and his work with The Upgraded Life, which is HIS podcast (and Jeremy was a featured guest in 2020).

Four Ways to Love Yourself
Truth is, you can’t give what you don’t have.

To give you a basic framework for healthy change,
there’s a four step process to grow and shift your inner world and the inner world of your children or teens. So, we’re going to break that down today.

Today, I'm talking about the 3 Costs involved in making change - the cost of NOT taking action, the cost of lukewarm action, and the cost of decisive action to get your results. These three costs show up for you when YOU want to make changes, and they show up when your spouse or partner wants to make changes... even when your kids want (or need!) to make changes. I'm also covering ways to help yourself and others to make real, lasting shifts in your life.

EVERYONE needs a time out - I need a time out, YOU need a time out, our kids need a time out... grinding is great, but when you're burning the candle on both ends and the middle, what's left? So many of us are getting consumed by our dreams, our drives, our side-hustles, etc. And... have you noticed you're getting diminishing returns? Yeah, me too. I think you'll find, with a little time out in your day, you'll show up more powerfully for yourself and others. Today we're talking about some strategies on HOW to make a time out happen for you and for others. Give it a listen, you'll be glad you did!
