I've hit flat-out hit rock bottom—emotionally, mentally, and physically a few times in my life. The crash was painful in every way. It forced me to get brutally honest with myself and finally take responsibility for my life. In doing so, I was able to transform my world. It was the best thing that could have ever happened to me, Your pain doesn't have to define you. Rather, it can refine you and that's what I want for you. In this episode, I share 3 reasons why rock bottom can be the foundation upon which you rebuild your entire life.
Setting boundaries is about self-respect. It's a way of saying, "I matter." Boundaries show others how they are supposed to treat us. It's their choice whether or not they listen.
A lot of narcissists go undetected because empaths cannot even fathom that someone could be capable of being so manipulative and cruel. Education is power. When you take a look inside the mind of a narcissist, you start to see their behavioral patterns and understand why they act the way they do. Once you know the red flags, you are better able to protect yourself. Narcissists hate boundaries because it creates an invisible wall which inhibits them from exerting their power and control. From this place, you become a victor instead of a victim, and this is when the process begins of rebuilding your self esteem ❤️
Strong communication is the foundation of every healthy relationship. Without being able to express themselves and listen to another, partners cannot achieve the level of intimacy that is required to continue to grow and evolve as a couple. Ready to learn how to communicate better with your partner?
I believe that authenticity is one of the most beautiful qualities that someone can possess.
Having the courage to be unapologetically yourself when the world is constantly trying to make you be someone else is bold. Authenticity is about being your true self; it's not hiding behind a mask and living someone else's life because you are too scared to live your own.
Once you are ready to put aside anything and everything that is inauthentic to who you really are, that is when you will experience the ultimate freedom to be your true self. Be authentic, be yourself. Feel into it, embody it and embrace it fully.
In the words of Brene Brown, “Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let out true selves be seen.”
If we quit every time we felt uncomfortable, we would never achieve anything. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. It's a small price to pay for living your dream.
The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
Change can be scary, but do you know whats even scarier? To allow fear to stop you from growing, evolving and progressing towards your highest self.
Your mind is a powerful thing. When you fill it with positive thoughts, your life story will start to change.
