Welcome to the Sonoma Ranch Podcast. A podcast led by the students of Sonoma Ranch Elementary to discuss all things going on at our school. The show will consist of a variety of featured segments that are student-led and created. Such as "Rodeo Work" where students will be interviewed about science, social studies, or other classroom lessons they have learned. "Ranch Call" where students will inform our community of upcoming events & things happening on our campus. "Stallion Strong" focuses on tips about self-care, being a friend & staying healthy. "Dude Ranch" students will share thoughts & ideas about special areas, such as PE, art, library, band, strings, and music class.

Welcome to our last episode for the 2021-22 school year! Yay!

Today's episode will feature:

  • Nathan will be sharing with us facts about the sun and how to protect yourself during the summer heat.
  • Bella will be interviewing our school's Reading Specialist, Mrs. Hardy who will be sharing tips on making reading fun!
  • In Campground Storytime, Ryan R. will be sharing some his favorite book.
  • Producer of our podcast, Bella will be sharing some final words about the podcast this year. And sharing information that Mrs. Munley will be retiring this year.

Welcome to the third episode of the Sonoma Ranch Elementary School Podcast! Today will be a Campground Storytime and the story for this episode will be (drumroll please!...)

THE COOL BEAN By Jory John & Pete Oswald! (You can find this awesome book at your local library or through many online stores.)

During the last semester of this school year, the students in general music class learned about sound effects used in movies and through animation. As you listen to this podcast story, you will hear the use of various sound effects & music created by these 5th grade students; Katelyn, Caden, Bella, Aidan, John, Julissa, Sawyer, Renzo, Michael, Angie & Nataly.

Our narrator for the story is AJ and a special shout out to the 5th grade students (from band and strings classes) that helped out; Jordan & Ella! Thank you so much!
