Firstly, let me apologize for not getting a podcast out last month, but I hope this month's special edition makes up for it.
The only new resource I am talking about is the Roman Catholic parish registers for Ireland, which have been put online for free by the National Library of Ireland at http://registers.nli.ie/. As these registers contain a little Latin, you might find this link helps with the sorts of words you might find if you are not used to looking at Latin.
In this issue I talk about the recent Unlock the Past Baltic Cruise and if it wets your appetite for genealogy cruising, you can find details about the future cruises here.
One of the speakers I mention, Janet Few, has written a book covering the lifestyles of our 17th century ancestors, full of information she no doubt learnt from Master Christopher and Mistress Agnes. Janet has two websites https://thehistoryinterpreter.wordpress.com/ and

Featured Website
This month we are looking at the Dusty Docs website, located at www.dustydocs.com. This website contains links to free online transcriptions of parish registers (and other material) for parishes all over the British Isles.
Genetic Map of the British Isles
A report was published in Nature this month with the results of a project to produce a genetic map of the UK.

The results are interesting, showing there is no unique Celtic identity, and that the people of Cornwall and Dorset are genetically distinct from the others of Great Britain, and also distinct from each other. Full results are available here, or alternatively there are some press articles here and here.
Biographical Database of Australia
Over 400,000 new records have been added to the Biographical Database of Australia. Full details are available here.
Irish Anzacs Database
This free web site, which aims to record all Irish-born members of the Australian forces in World War I can be accessed at repository.arts.unsw.edu.au

Papers Past
Papers Past is the newspaper site of the National Library of Ireland, with access to over 45 million newspaper articles from 93 different New Zealand newspapers, and more are being added all the time. It is located at http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast
RootsTech

Bedlam Burials
The Bedlam Burial Ground register, developed as the result of the discovery of 3000 skeletons during the construction of the London Crossrail can be found here.
Irish birth and marriage indexes
The Early Irish Birth Index and Early Irish Marriage index can be found on the website of the Irish Genealogical Research Society. Choose the "Resources" tab at www.irishancestors.ie then choose "Unique Resources".
Cork births, marriages & deaths
The McDonnell's Index of Births, Marriages and Deaths, which includes bmd announcements published in The Constitution and Cork Advertiser newspaper from 1828 to 1830 on http://CorkPastAndPresent.ie The Cork Constitution is not currently included in any of the big online newspaper databases.
New Copy of Magna Carta Found
