In recent years, we have really had some out of this world experiences with Team Members at Universal Studios Orlando. Spring Break 2025! Decided to skip a trip to Disneyland in CA, and stick around Orlando this year. Litem Jr and Little Litem both had a blast checking into the towers overlooking Volcano Bay on this trip. The first of a few 20 minute episodes; this one features the St Paddy's Day scene at Finnegan's in USF, Pat O'Brien's dueling pianos featuring Irish tunes, and the rough start we had using the buses from CB to CityWalk. Probably the best trip to USF that I have had in years, and there have been some great ones.

Litem's takes on one of his favorite movies of the summer. Thor Love and Thunder was such a pleasant surprise that it shocked me. My take on this film, the state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Halloween Horror Night well wishes to all that celebrate, and an update on the Litem Family. Tried to keep the review Spoiler free; not because it's a new movie, but if you find yourself watching it I would like you to enjoy it the same way my son and I did. (Hint he loved it too)

Some small but good news to report from Disney this last week. A quick walk around the Disney Port Orleans Resort. Take a boat ride along the Sascagoula River and check out this delightful resort. A walk down memory lane to the Alligator Bayou and what it meant to be finally at a Disney resort in 2006 had terrible audio but the rest of the walk by the pool and the grounds were salvageable. Ahh the joys of podcast recording from a mobile unit. Go find some magic. There might not be a tomorrow, so if it doesn't hurt anyone including your financial well-being, go have fun and enjoy yourself. Chase some whimsy.

I recorded this with my teeth chattering amid 4-degree temperatures. Get warm if you need to. If you can somehow wait to get to Universal during Mardi Gras, then make sure you do it! Great food, music, concerts, beverages, and oh yeah, UNBELIEVABLE rides. Typhoon Lagoon is open over at Disney. That remains the only good news from that company and its staff members. (I'm not calling that executive management roster cast members anymore) My thoughts on a very good Spiderman movie and more. If you excuse me, I will play some Tiki music and pretend to be at The Royal Pacific Resort, where it's warm.
Happy Anniversary! We had the amazing fortune to be able to take advantage of a 7 hour VIP Tour with a "plaid". It was an unbelievable experience. There was magic, there were tears, there was plenty of laughter, and dreams came true. Join me as I share what it was liked to have full park access to anywhere on Walt Disney World. Hop into your air conditioned motor coach and enjoy a frosty beverage as you are whisked to the front of the line and backstage for any ride in all four parks. Happy 50th! No matter what you think about Disney's handling of the 50th anniversary of the Magic Kingdom, we all have benefited from what happened 50 yrs ago. I don't have 50 years of memories, but I have plenty of them. I'm taking today to say thanks for all the fun times, tears, laughs and dance parties I've had in the park. Legoland FL is in Lakeland FL. If you don't know where that is or what goes on there, well neither did I. The whole gang took our first trip to see Wildstyle and crew. A delightful little park for kids 4-12. Not cheap, but a bit more relaxing than peak season with the big parks. Also, a full Saturday trip to MK with NO LINES OVER 10 MINS. Followed up with the single most pleasant evening I can recall in years at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Star Wars land. Walk ons all night and smiles on all Cast. It was glorious. More on Volcano Bay and how Fallon is actually doing well with kids. After a Wonderful staycation at Universal's Cabana Bay resort and trips to Universal Studios Florida the Litem clan was completely blown away by how lucky we are to be living so close to the parks. Combine that with some magical moments at Walt Disney World'd Grand Floridian, dinner at the Polynesian, Trader Sams and cocktails with good friends at the Tambu Lounge and you could say that the Pixie Dust bug showed up at the Litem House once again and we all caught it. I had the pleasure of joining Chris and Noelle at the Minnie Mouse Clubhouse and share a bottle of grape powerade and stories from their time as CM yet again. This episode is a just a run down of one of the best dive bars ever. It just happens to be the bar where Jimmy B had his first drink in Key West. The podcast was inspired by watching a video from a musician that featured shots of the bar itself. I noticed the pictures of me on the walls, and thought..........I should talk about how special this place has been to me and my wife. We have laughed,cried, laughed more, and possibly buried loved ones inside the bar rail of this former ultra secret special place that time has not disturbed too too much. Throw some rocks at that dirty bird, its time to talk about real life treasure hunters, scoundrels, bush pilots, and yes...bankers getting engaged and announcing it at a dive bar. Very short podcast as we say goodbye to the Orlando Vista hotel. That was my family's favorite offsite hotel for quite some time. By far the most time I've ever spent in a single Orlando area hotel. It was nothing fancy, but there were a lot of memories. Not bad for 69.00 a night.
Also we are killing time during a half day from school. My daughter talks about dreaming big and setting goals. Enjoy

A little bit more on our trip to Universal. thoughts from my family members on thier experiences (not as guests but my stories) and how bad the service industry can s*ck in FL when occupancy rates are through the roof like they are now.
Part one is re'corded after a marathon drive of 8.5 hrs home. Got the kids in bed, got the wife in bed and wanted a raw version of my immediate thoughts on Universal, Cabana Bay, and family vacations in general.
