God is pure, holy, righteous, and full of love, grace, and compassion. Thankfully through Jesus Christ and the wonderful work of the Spirit of God within us, we have received this awesome divine nature!
In Ephesians 5:1-21, Paul teaches the believers in Christ how to live out this new nature. We are invited to “be imitators of God as dear children” and to “walk in love as Christ loved us”. This means staying away from all kinds of sinful habits and instead choosing to walk as “children of light”; no longer bound to the works of darkness.
Let’s find out this Sunday how we can experience (individually and corporately) a true, meaningful life, as we seek to understand God’s will and pursue the constant infilling of the Spirit.

This is not the season of the spiritual superstar. This is the season of ordinary people getting hold of an extraordinary God, beginning to see themselves as He sees them, and beginning to move in the things He has prepared for them to walk in.
We are excited to hear Pastor Sonaz's message called "DON’T AIM TO FIT IN, AIM TO STAND OUT".
People should be able to see a difference between Christians and non-Christians because of the way Christians live. We are to live as children of light. Paul told the Ephesians to leave behind the old life of sin since they were followers of Christ. Living the Christian life is a process. Although we have a new nature, we don't automatically think all good thoughts and express all right attitudes when we become new people in Christ. But if we keep listening to God, we will be changing all the time. As you look back over the last year, do you see a process of change for the better in your thoughts, attitudes, and actions? Although change may be slow, it comes as you trust God to change you. Our old way of life before we believed in Christ is completely in the past. We should put it behind us like old clothes to be thrown away. This is both a once-for-all decision when we decide to accept Christ’s gift of salvation. It is also a daily conscious commitment. We are not to be driven by desire and impulse anymore, but by the Holy Spirit. We must put off the old ways, put on the new ways, and renew our minds daily.
We are excited to continue our series on the Book of Ephesians this Sunday with guest speaker, Kenn Gill!
Kenn & Cheryl Gill from Calgary will be with us at Peace Tower Church ministering in the 9 and 11 AM services. Kenn and Cheryl are spiritual parents to Canada and the nations of the world. They give apostolic leadership to the Ripple Network as a governing voice to several churches and pastors in their network across Canada and the United States. Kenn is an amazing communicator and is loved by many around the world.
He will be preaching from Ephesians 4:1-16 on "Context Is Everything".

As we get ready to celebrate Pentecost Sunday this week, prophetic friends and pastors that I trust say they are anticipating one of the greatest moves of God in our history over the next several months.
We are in an unprecedented time that the Church has not seen since they were in the Upper Room on the day of Pentecost. In Johns Gospel, Jesus said to His disciples He would send the Holy Spirit (Comforter) to accomplish His work through us as his followers. He also said, “We would be his witnesses to the world, but first, we have to wait! Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father had promised.”(Acts 1:4)
I choose to believe that through this season of waiting God is restoring the foundations of our early Pentecostal pioneers and getting ready to release a mighty move of His Spirit. Let's not get in a hurry to get back to the normal of doing, when in our waiting He is teaching us how to be!

lf you are anything like me then you are probably over this pandemic and you can't wait until we get back worshipping together.
Our world as we know it has been turned upside down and there doesn't seem to be a lot of hope or excitement to our everyday lives. The COVID19 virus has consumed the airways and news media with lots of fear and anxiety about what we should do and the direction we can go as our country tries to recover. Some leaders are saying we may never get back to normal as to the way it was.
I have good news... Jesus said in John 15:16 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and appointed you to go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit will remain." Over the next three weeks, I want to speak to you about the new norm according to Jesus. The Message is the same, the method of delivery is changing but you and I are being called up to our highest calling in the Kingdom! I believe God has His church right where He wants us in the unprecedented season of our lives to "Go" and be vested into this awesome mandate.
