We also introduced "morning drive", aimed at the more stripped-back and deep grooves of dance music. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia and currently based in San Antonio, Texas, Chris Terry continues on his journey as a selector and dance-floor maestro. He is consistently digging deep in his library for that perfect record that properly fits the current space he’s in. Chris is no stranger of extended sets, often packing a room from start to finish - always finding his sweet spot nestled within a proper club setting. Follow @akiva_official www.instagram.com/akiva.wav -- "The artist formerly known as The Kid Inside, AKIVA is a melodic house and techno producer/DJ/live act based in Los Angeles producing and curating music inspired by the progressive house scene of the early 2000s. Topping Beatport charts with music on U.K. underground labels Deepdowndirty and Gibbon Records and the progressive U.K. powerhouse, Pro B Tech Records. Resident on Saturo Sounds with a monthly radio and podcast series, and Identity Presents - the premier LA-based event curator, hosting and playing with Modus, Galestian, Cid Inc, Miyagi, and Dave Seaman. 2021 saw Akiva assume the role of A&R for the Saturo Sounds label imprint, releasing the "Sounds of Saturo, Vol. 2" compilation. Charting at #7 in the Melodic House and Techno, #4 in both Progressive and Organic House, #1 in Breaks, and number #4 Overall charts. Closing out the year with the #1 Progressive House release thereafter. Akiva started his journey through music with Jaco Pastorius. The rhythmically diverse and bass-driven fusion style, presented to him by his father and uncle's jazz records, prompted his purchase of an Ibanez bass guitar. Along with jazz, he developed a love of smooth tenor and alto saxophones and string sounds of the violin and viola through his love of classical music. While he was jamming out to heavy metal and classic rock in high school, Akiva discovered electronic music on NYC's KTU station. Akiva immediately started playing progressive and goa-psytrance songs with his friends at parties. House and techno music were still considered underground at that time. As the scene grew, both in NYC and abroad, he spent waking hours adding to his music collection and refining his production skills. Diego Gignoux (aka Gee.nu) born in 1995, hailing from Lima, Peru and raised in Los Angeles, California, is an artist with a dedication to music stemming from early childhood, beginning with rock music as well as playing several instruments with a passion.
His musical interest eventually grew towards electronic music at the age of 14, ranging from drum & bass, leftfield, dubstep, minimal, microhouse, and deeptech, with plenty of influence from the Romanian electronic scene, which has motivated him to become a DJ/producer since the age of 16.
Gee.nu has spent some time in Peru and the U.S. playing in venues, bars, house parties and various friends' kickbacks with other DJs of the same category. He currently lives in Palm Springs, California and continues to grow with his music career.

Hello and welcome to the fifth edition of our mix series, Mirrors!
For this edition we have a solid hour and 10 minute journey through the sounds of house, brought to us by San Diego based producer/DJ Güülop! (@guulop)
Güülop is a 22 year old producer and DJ based out of San Diego, CA who draws from Melodic Deep House, Tech House & different shades of Progressive House. His music will make you groove out between the hypnotic rhythms and thumping bass. The kaleidoscopic textures and melodies will take you out of your head while the intense vocal samples will take you inwards and make you question everything; the music will take you on a spiritual and musical journey. Güülop is quickly finding his place in the dance community and is a resident DJ for Los Angeles collective, 3rd Eye Tribe, having performed at Exchange in LA and on 88.9 KXLU in Los Angeles. He's released music with Ibiza based label, Haustronaut, and Southern California based labels Soniquarium & Hypnotisms.
