Jacob had a life full of discouragement which led to him being filled with grief and negativity. But as a child of God we should trust in the Lord's providential plan and walk by faith.
Genesis 41 tracks the rise of Joseph from prison to power. We see that God had finished his refining work and now that Joseph was ready God used him for his purposes.

The advances of Potiphar's wife are rejected by Joseph. Through his example we can learn a littel about temptations and how to overcome them.
If anyone didn't deserve a chance, it was Judah. Yet, God still used him mightily. Today we are looking at the great grace that God gives to sinners.

Ecclesiastes 1:12-2:26 There are many avenues that we take to pursue happiness or fulfillment, but almost all of them are a dead end. However, if we serve the Lord we can find purpose and fulfillment there. Serve him today.
Ecclesiastes 1:1-11 The preacher of Ecclesiastes realizes that their is nothing new under the sun, and while this is true, the Christian knows that God makes all things new. We need to change our perspective to look at things from above the sun to find hope and meaning.
3 John 1:1-15 John encourages Gaius to continue walking in the truth, by showing hospitality and being discerning of who he is influenced by.
Today we examine the surprisingly debated issue of God’s great love for the entire world. 1 Corinthians 13:1-7
John 11:1-57 Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead, but he has even greater plans in mind.
John 10:22-42 Jesus is asked to tell plainly who He is. His answer is hard to hear if you aren’t ready for it. So, He encourages you to look at his works to validate His words, and He still does.
Luke 24:13-35 Easter 2021. He is risen! Jesus meets some disciples on Easter evening and reveals who he truly is. Do you truly know Jesus?
John 10:1-21 Jesus is the only true good shepherd. He cares for the sheep enough to lay his life down for them.
John 9:1-41 Jesus consistently did the works of his father. Likewise, we are called to consistently do the works of God.
John 7:1-52 The ministry and teaching of Jesus forces people to make a decision about who he truly is.
Mark 4:43-54 Jesus meets people where they are, and uses our testimonies about him to change lives.
John 4:1-42 The sole focus of Christ is on the Father’s business. Likewise, the church is to be about that same business.
John 1:19-51 Jesus calls his first disciples. Are you humble enough to follow and to point others toward Christ?
Join as as we finish examining the book of Esther (Est 9:20-10:3). We learn that we are called to celebrate what the Lord has done for us.
Esther 9:1-19 looks at how God accomplishes victory from seeming defeat, and also at how God is good to keep all of his promises.
Esther 8:1-17 examines how the old law could not be removed, but a new law could be laid over it. The old law of sin/death still remains for the world today, but through Christ a new law of grace/life exists for all who would believe.
Esther 7. Bill Whitmire examines what the difference between a God centered and self centered life is.
Pastor Matt examines Esther 6 with a focus on how God’s justice is always on time. Trust God to be on time for you.
We examine Esther 5 and the different paths that Esther and Haman take. Esther walks humbly and prayerfully toward God’s plan. Haman walks in arrogance, which will lead to his destruction.
Esther 4:1-17. God puts each of us in unique situations to be his hands and feet. Sometimes these are huge situations, but often it is daily calls to obedience. Are you willing to respond in faith to each situation that comes your way?
Esther 2:19-3:15 God is working in all situation, even wicked ones, to accomplish his grand purposes. That is the beauty of divine providence.
Men may scheme wickedly, but God is with us even in the midst of those dark moments. Esther 2:12-18

Some may think, after the flood, that God has a low view of human life. However, as we see in Genesis 9:1-17, God actually values human life exceedingly high. Due to this, God commands us to place a high value on life as well.
Explore the lessons from the flood and how they connect to God’s eternal plan for redemption.
