Thursday 17th July – In this episode, we’re playing The 4 Park Challenge with special guest, Dad! Here’s how it works:
The idea is that you’re spending one day at all 4 theme parks, you can choose one show, one small attraction and one large attraction to experience at each park. You can enjoy one beverage, one snack and one sit-down meal across all FOUR parks.
Don’t worry, we had as much a hard time explaining it as we do writing the rules (especially as we made our own as we went along)! We’d love to know how you get on playing this with us.

Tuesday 19th March – We simply can’t help ourselves with this one. Since 2003, we’ve been travelling over to Orlando for our family vacays and sometimes a trip meant missing a little bit of school time.
Now that Gabbi has a not-so-little 5-year-old of her own who came with us for our month-long trip back in 2023, and she is currently choosing to home educate him, we got creative with how we integrated learning and fun.
And, seriously, it wasn’t as hard as you’d think! In this episode, we’re sharing the abundant opportunities to infuse education into your kids' next Walt Disney World vacation.

It’s that time of the year again when our favourite event in Orlando descends at Walt Disney World’s Epcot, the International Food & Wine Festival.
Whilst we’re not on the ground, we’ve been drooling away at the menus for this year’s festival, and in this episode, we’re diving into the new eats that we’d love to try.
As expected, there were too many menus for us to talk about, so this episode is the first of two parts. It’s also the first episode of a Food & Wine series that we’ll be chatting about throughout the coming months.
What are you desperate to try at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival? Let us know on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
It’s been a hot minute since we sat down and recorded together and wow, does it feel good to be back!? At the time of this recording, Amelia was based in Los Angeles, meanwhile Gabriella was holding down the fort in the UK.
To say the least, syncing up times for a recording has been a bit of a nightmare! BUT, we’re making it work because we simply love speaking out into the pod-verse.
In this episode, Gabriella is interviewing Amelia on her recent (and very first) trip to Universal Studios Hollywood! It wasn’t quite the same without the rest of the family involved, but she had the most fun time – solo!
We spoke about:
The joys of theme park-ing solo
More!
If you’ve visited Universal Studios Hollywood in the past or are looking to go in the future, we’d love to hear from you! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
This week we’ve got another solo episode with Gabriella as she covers her experience of travelling to Walt Disney World in 2019 with a 9-month-old!
The experience isn’t one that we ever thought we’d do after the assumption that taking a little one to the World was the last thing you’d want to do.
But alas, as always, we found a way to make it work when a spontaneous decision to head to Orlando was made!
In this episode, Gabriella covers how to prepare for long-haul flights, navigating your itinerary and the absolute basics to know when travelling to Walt Disney World with a newborn.
If you know anyone who is debating taking a newborn to Walt Disney World or would like to share your experiences, get in touch! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
In this episode, our Gabbi is flying solo as she takes you through her experience working at Walt Disney World for the Disney College Program. It’s been 10 years since she flew over for the summer of a lifetime, and she’s going to be talking all on:
Share any questions, comments, or experiences you had doing the Disney College Program, we’d love to hear your stories! It’s true. It can be done. In this episode, we are ranking the lands in Disney’s Magic Kingdom from our most-loved to least-loved.
Before you listen, please be aware that this is not a definitive ranking, and even we found ourselves at times wishing we had chosen differently! But, it was fun discussing old memories attached to each land in this historical and fantastical park, and we hope that you’ll nod and giggle along with us.
The lands in Disney’s Magic Kingdom
Let us know what your current ranking is of the lands at Disney’s Magic Kingdom as we’d love to hear! Yes guys, we did an episode on our dream date in Walt Disney World. That said, if you’ve followed us from the start, you’ll know that fantasising about outings with our ~non-existant~ significant others is kind of something we tend to do.
In all seriousness, this was a really fun episode to record which had us take you through our ideal things to do, places to be, food to eat when heading on a date with someone special.
This isn’t specifically about first dates, anniversary dates, makeup dates (you know the ones), but instead, we are just keeping it to a casual date. Or not-so-casual, it depends how wild you think we’ve gone with our plans!
Let us know the Disney dates you’ve been on, or would love to go on during your next visit! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
Have you ever walked past a cast member and thought, “dang, I’d love to do that”. In today’s episode, Gabbi and Papa Bux are chatting about the three jobs that they would love to have in the World!
From taking care of your trip to taking care of the animals on property, shimmying to the stage and being a part of the immersive dining experiences… We’re covering it all!
Have a listen, then share with us what Cast Member roles you would love to play in Walt Disney World! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
As Millie has jetted off to Costa Rica, we thought we’d switch out her seat this week and invite Papa Bux into the mix to join in with today’s episode.
Leading on from our last conversation, Gabbi and Papa Bux are chatting all about his top five favourite things to do/eat/see/experience in Orlando! He was so excited to get in on this chat, and you’re gonna love his choices.
Have a listen, then share with us your top five as we seriously love hearing about your special selects! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
It’s been one year since we started The DUO Podcast and we can’t quite believe it. We decided to do this show as a way to help us get through the stress of the pandemic, by reminding ourselves that there were brighter days ahead.
Since then, we have had thousands of listens, built a lovely community on social media, and made some awesome friends out of it. Whether you’ve listened to us since the start, in the past 6 months, or even just the last two episodes, we couldn’t be more grateful that you have joined us for the ride and supported us along the way.
Here’s to open that next year’s anniversary will see us planning our next trip or discussing a recent one… Either way, the World is in our sight for as soon as possible!
In this episode, we are ranking each of our top five favourite things to experience in Orlando. These are our non-negotiables, our must-dos, our can’t-enjoy-Orlando-without-‘em essential moments.
Have a listen, then share with us your top five as we seriously love hearing about your special selects! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
Thanks, and here’s to another 1 year of talking DUO together!

Oh yeah, we made an episode about Disney Transportation, and we are PROOOUUDD of it! We’ve been visiting the World since 2004, and have watched the many magical forms of transportation evolve and expand over the years, and in this episode, we’re ranking our most loved to least loved ways to get around Walt Disney World.
In this conversation, we mention travelling by foot, bus, monorail, boat and Skyliner, and briefly touch on the option to travel by Minnievan, although we’ve not used this yet.
Let us know what your most-loved and least loved modes of WDW transport are, as well as the memories attached to them, via Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
Thanks, and enjoy the show.
Ok so, the sun is out in the UK and that can only mean one thing – Disney daydreaming vibes are in full swing. At this time of year, we usually crank up the Epcot Master Mix (search for that on YouTube!) to set the mood and transport us to World Showcase whilst we work in the day, and help us to wind down in the evening.
It had us thinking and chatting about World Showcase with a focus on ranking the pavilions from our favourite to least favourite.
We based our decision on Entertainment, Attractions, Food & Drink, Shopping, and Cultural Aesthetics! Please note that we by no means believe that there is a pavilion that’s the “worst”, as a lot of our lower choices have been at the top at some point, and we fully expect our higher choices to change over time!
Let us know your ranking and why via the comments! And, if you feel that we were totally WRONG on our choices, tell us why and change our minds. You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
Thanks, and enjoy the show.
This episode is inspired by a recent conversation on the Best & Worst podcast, where The DIS team spoke on all the things they didn't appreciate enough in Walt Disney World before the pandemic. For this discussion, we reflected on the simple delights, unique features, and experiential moments that they wish they'd given more love and attention to both before the pandemic and back to their earlier trips to Walt Disney World.
We loved talking about this and offering ourselves little glimmers of hope that we will see much of what we mentioned return to the World in its full form one day! Let us know what you took for granted in Walt Disney World and if any of our choices resonated with your trips. You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
Thanks, and enjoy the show.

Relax? In Walt Disney World? Yes, it really is possible.
Here’s an episode to listen to when you need a lil kickback. We recorded this when we were feeling particularly frazzled with life and wanted to remember more peaceful times.
We’re taking you inside the theme parks, around our fave Disney resorts, and over to some chilled snacking spots where we love to sit and take it all in.
Let us know where your fave spots to relax in Walt Disney World are (if you’re happy to let us in on those secret spots)! It’s true, we haven’t done EVERYTHING, but that’s all the more reason to go back! In this episode, we’re talking about all the rides and attractions we are yet to ride across Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando.
… And, P.S., they’re not all the ones you’d think!

So our prime minister announces that things may finally be getting back to normal… and we get a little over-excited and start thinking about shopping.
In today’s episode, we’re gonna be talking about our much-loved shopping spots in Orlando!
Between the both of us, we’re totally different shoppers; Amelia prefers a quieter, slower pace, whereas Gabbi is a real unit when it comes to hunting down the best bargains. Together, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite locations to head to depending on what kind of shopper you are!
Let us know where your go-to shop-til-ya-drop locations are and the ones we need to add to our list! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
Thanks, and enjoy the show.
An episode not about Disney? Let’s be honest, it was long overdue! Today we’re talking all about the restaurants in Orlando that we have at the top of our list of new places to try when we head back to our second home.
From Universal eats to I-Drive streets, there’s so much variety of goodness that we cannot wait to tuck into for the first time. This was such a fun episode to record and a word of warning; make sure you’ve already eaten before listening or you’ll be drooling all over the shop!
Let us know if you’ve sampled any of the places we mention or have some other spots you’d love to recommend to us! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
Thanks, and enjoy the show.
We continue our “Disney park snack series” by heading over to Amelia’s favourite spot, Epcot! We’re used to eating so much during the food festivals in this park, and thought we might struggle for ideas for this one, but once we got going… There was no stopping us!
Have a listen to see if your much-loved treat is mentioned and if not, let us know what we just have to eat! You'll find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and as always, be sure to write a review if you’re listening on Apple Podcasts and share the show with your pals as it really helps to get the word out.
Thanks, and enjoy the show.
In this episode, we’re gonna be shutting down the common assumptions you’re likely to hear (or maybe think!) about Walt Disney World vacations.

This is an episode that Gabbi’s been wanting to record for so long because it touches on a topic that she knows all too well – Disney during pregnancy!
As some of you may know, Gabbi is a mama to 19-month-old Walter. But what you may not have known, is that she became unexpectedly pregnant some months before we’d had a big trip to Orlando booked! Did that stop us? Heck no!
Listen to all the ways that Gabbi was able to make her trip just as enjoyable (if not more so than normal) whilst carrying a little human inside her belly.
Let us know if you’ve ever been pregnant in Disney, your partner or a close relative has, or even if you’re looking to be in the future and are unsure if travelling to the place Where Dreams Come True is the best thing. You can find us on Instagram @the.duopodcast, Twitter @TheDUOPo, and Facebook @theduopo.

Let’s be honest, we’ve all had those moments of utter shock at Walt Disney World changing a much-loved ride, restaurant or entertainment location. Whether it be the ending of Cirque Du Soleil’s La Nouba or more recently, the classic ride Splash Mountain, over the years we have had to say an abrupt farewell to some of our favourite things. Most have been easy to move past, whilst some have been hard…
We agree that change is necessary and shifts in a positive direction as a result, but on today’s episode, we’re going to talk about the 6 things we absolutely, categorically DO NOT want Disney to change.
Hence, HANDS OFF DISNEY!
Let us know what you want to stay the same in Walt Disney World on Twitter @TheDUOPo and Instagram @the.duopodcast. Thanks guys and enjoy the show!
P.S. Have you reviewed our show on Apple Podcasts yet? It’d mean the world if you could spare a minute to leave us some friendly words so we can get our low-key Disney obsession to the masses! X

If you’re like us, you’ve probably been bingeing on Disney+ since it was released to the UK on March 26th, 2020. We’ve loved getting stuck into some old Disney Channel classics, rewatching our favourite films and also learning about all the behind the scenes magic inside Walt Disney World.
That said, our nerdy selves have also been wondering what we would love to see on Disney+ that gives even more BTS action of all the happenings inside the World.
This episode is all about the TV shows we know would be crowd-pleasers on the streaming service and would love for this to be a PSA to The Walt Disney Company to make them happen!

With vacations being cancelled or postponed, masks being required in theme parks and shopping areas, social distancing being enforced across the board and more unprecedented happenings in our favourite locations destination, there is a lot of uncertainty over how to enjoy our future trips to Orlando.
Whilst we don't have all the answers on how to enjoy your next trip with these new (or hopefully temporary) guidelines in place, we have been talking at home about how we would consider enjoying Orlando minus the parks, if it was necessary to do so ('cause, we don't know about you, but wearing a mask in 35-degree heat on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is NOT our idea of fun)... Over the past 16 years of us travelling there, we have been able to seek out some of the hidden gems that Orlando has to offer; from farmers markets to lakeside walks, vibrant sports bars to American classics. Today, we're going to tell you all about them!
For this episode, we welcomed back our lovely Dad to take us through a weekend of off-property activities and it's one of the most fun we've recorded! Let us know on social media if you have any off-property locations you think we should add into our future plans or if you've visited some of the spots mentioned during the discussion.

Over 16 years our opinions on restaurants in WDW have fluctuated. Some have remained firm favourites, a lot we have grown to love over the years, and sadly, others that have let us down on the occasion. In this episode, we're talking about the five eateries in Walt Disney World that were so surprisingly tasty and the ones that left us with a sour taste (pardon the pun).
Do you agree with our choices? Let us know at @the.duopodcast on Instagram and @TheDUOPo on Twitter!

Today we have been joined by another amazing guest, one who we have been listening to for years and feel it's more than fair to say is one of the OG's if not THE OG of Disney podcasters.
Lou Mongello is an author, speaker, Disney expert and host of the 17-year old podcast WDW Radio which has been awarded Best Travel Podcast for 9 consecutive years and is the show you want to direct yourselves to if you're interested in the detailed and amazing history of Disney, ultimate top 10-themed episodes and a really loveable, friendly and passionate delivery from Lou as a host.
As I said, we've been listening to Lou's show for a while and our dad has for even longer, so it was a pretty fun, fangirl, and all-round amazing experience for us to chat to him and learn what a genuine person he is.
Gabbi and I were talking for a while about what topic would be best to explore and arrived at the decision to just talk to Lou about his journey with Disney as a whole. From humble beginnings as one of the first people to enjoy Walt Disney World in 1971, to now becoming one of the most renowned individuals that people turn to for travel tips, trivia and ideas to make your vacation THE best it can be, Gabbi and I feel so lucky to have had this time to talk.
This episode is wonderful, motivational and very much like a warm hug and we can't wait for you to hear it. We know right now there is a lot going on in the world that a lot of people are struggling with so we hope we can offer you a mini escape for an hour or so and appreciate every single one of your for listening and supporting us. Remember to please rate this podcast where you can as it really helps us get the word out.

Today on the show we are joined by an extra special guest - our dad, Richard! He’s the man who has booked our trips to Orlando over the past 16 years and we chose to pick his brain on today’s episode to learn about how he did it.
We will be talking about the reasons behind always booking our trips independently, tips to how we may have scored the best deals and ways we have found it easier to navigate our favourite destination.
As we mention in the episode, these are just our experiences and our way that we like to book our holidays, this is no way means that there is a wrong or right way to do it. We do our trips quite differently to most and that is only because it has evolved over time with our ages, interests and energies.
Let us know how you tend to book your trips by getting in touch on Instagram (@the.duopodcast) or on Twitter (@TheDUOPo)! Also, we're now on YouTube! We wanted to offer another platform to listen to our episodes on and would love it if you went and subscribed to our channel.

Today on the show we were joined by another four super special guests to us. As you may have listened to our previous episode with the Despicable Three, it was by watching some awesome vlogs that we felt really encouraged to go for it with starting our podcast and another vlogging family that we thank for that are Cheers Ears!
The Cheers Ears family is made up of Daisy, Luke, Tracey and Keith and they have been visiting Orlando for the past 15 years or so and vlogging about their adventures since 2018. Gabbi and I felt like we really connected with them through their funny-not-funny dad jokes, relatable references and just a lot of good clean fun.
We had a few episodes in mind to do with them and arrived at the decision to lead with a family-like theme of discussing each other's guilty pleasures and are so happy that all 10 were completely different to one another.
These guys are a beautiful family inside and out (as you’ll probably hear us gushing about in the episode) and we’re really grateful that they made the time to chat to us all together on a Sunday morning.
I’ll leave all their links below on how you can follow and binge-watch their vlogs, so go subscribe to their channel and support them with lots of love. As always please do give this podcast a nice rating or review wherever you can!
I want to mention that there was a moment or two where the sound dropped a little bit on our conversation but it only lasts a few seconds or so.
Thank you guys for listening and supporting and we really hope that you enjoy this episode!

Random traditions; every Orlando visitor has 'em. Whether it be sitting in the lobby of your favourite resort to people watch, buying and downing a Butterbeer upon entering Hogsmeade in Universal Studios, visiting your favourite local market around the city... What are the things, activities and experiences that you must do without fail in order to mark the occasion with your loved ones?
These are ours! Some have developed over time, others are things we have done since our very first trip, but at the heart and soul of each one is the essence of good clean fun in our favourite vacation destination.
We would love to hear what your random Orlando traditions are, so make sure to let us know via @the.duopodcast on Instagram or @TheDUOPo on Twitter.
As always, we would massively appreciate it if you could give our podcast a friendly rating if you're listening on Apple Podcasts and please do reach out to let us know you're enjoying it - it'll make our day!
Happy listening, x
Today on the show we were joined by three very special guests; Steph, Jim and Jimmy that make up the Despicable Three!
The Despicable Three are a vlogging trio who have been broadcasting their Orlando adventures to their 8,000+ subscribers over the past 3 years.
We really wanted them on the show because, although we had the idea to start the podcast years ago, it was really after watching the Despicable Three’s videos during the UK Coronovirus lockdown that really encouraged us to go for it. Their videos are super relatable, they really have fun with what they doing and they just want to spread good vibes to their audience.
I’ll leave all their links below for you to go and binge-out on all of their videos and follow them on social media as we have, but I hope you enjoy this episode today where we chat all about the 3 best and worst changes or updates that have been made in Orlando.
Thank you to the Despicable Three for being so supportive and keen to be a guest on the show and thank you guys for listening!

Jingle made with Kevin Macleod's "Life Of Riley"
Don't pretend you've not thought about it. "Where would we marry?" "Who would be the special guest?" "What time of day would it be?" "Would Mickey & Minnie make an appearance?"...
This episode was inspired by our collective (un)healthy obsession with Disney+'s Disney Fairytale Weddings that we have been watching since the streaming service launched in the U.K. on March 24th.
The show takes you on a journey of couples who are getting married in one of the many U.S. Disney locations or those that are planning magical surprise proposals for their partner. It's truly wonderful! (Amelia isn't a crier, but she's been tearing up at nearly every episode)
In today's show, Amelia and Gabriella talk about their dream fairytale wedding's in the World. From ceremonies at dusk to beachside barbecue's, rustic theming and Happily Ever After endings... Let us know if our dream celebrations are similar to yours or if you think we are totally bonkers. Or both.
Welcome to our first episode of The DUO Podcast!
Today, we're chatting all about how our experiences have changed over the years from our first visit to Orlando in 2003 to our most recent journey out there in 2019. Reminiscing about our earliest memories and fantasising about our future plans, we hope that this gives you an opportunity to reflect on your past adventures to Orlando and connect with ours.
Let us know on social media what your earliest memories are and how your trips have changed over the years!
