Gail Hamilton is a blind opera singer, motivational speaker, and author and, although she has been totally blind for more than thirty years, she has been assisting others in overcoming their obstacles, challenges, and daily struggles by pointing them towards creativity, and spontaneity. Choosing not to be hindered by her disability, she competed in pageants, and in 2013, Gail was honored as the first blind woman to win the Ms. Colorado Senior America queen. She also won Fourth Runner Up in the National Ms. Senior America pageant held in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  Gail believes that no woman should see herself as less than and every woman should have high expectations of herself. For her, "Vision is internal, not external" and this is why she is guided by her heart, not her eyes.
