In this week's episode, we look into inclusive global energy transition. We speak to Dr Nick Ogolla, Managing Director at Majorstep Consultants, a capacity building community development firm in Kenya and Erabor Okogun, Project Development Director of Nemoante Projects with 20years experience in Origination and Energy Infrastructure Development in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Also joining the conversation is Al Karaki, a social innovator and entrepreneur, Julie Akugo, an Associate Consultant and Philip Oyoo, a climate change adaptation consultant. Our focus was finding out where Africa fits in in the global transition.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND INNOVATION IN AFRICA WITH CXI- AFRICA I had a discussion on Digital Transformation and Innovation in South Africa and Africa, with Daniel Naidoo and Prabir Badal, both directors of CXI-Africa and Basetsana Sebothoma and Koketso Tswai, both beneficiaries of Digital transformation and innovation initiatives in Africa; and Kent Yimba, a digital transformation business developer. The main focus of the interview was finding out how digital transformation and innovation can help African people, socially and economically.

I engaged in a discourse , on water resources and irrigation infrastructure development in Africa, with, firstly, Dominic Banaga Mucunguzi, a Principal Engineer in Irrigation and Drainage at Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries in Uganda, secondly, Lukas Kwezi, a Water and Sanitation Advisor, working for Foreign Common Wealth and Development Office in Tanzania, Hans Komakech, Hans Komakech, Senior Lecturer and Centre Director of WISE Futures at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology Arusha. His research areas include water resources management, irrigation development, and urban sanitation and Dr Jonathan Denison, a consultant for the World Bank and the Food and Agriculture Organisation, at times he and a Water Resources and Irrigation Development Specialist. This week I engaged in a discourse, on the energy sector in Africa, with firstly Rolake Akinkugbe-Filani, the Chief Commercial Officer, at Mixta Africa, also an energy and infrastructure sector executive; secondly Nicolas Bonnefoy, an Asafo and company partner and an oil and gas and mining project lawyer with an exclusive focus on Africa; thirdly, Michael Sakala, an energy expert in Zambia, and Mr Mbalati, CEO of DNG Energy. The thematic area was ascertaining the current indicators to the energy sector in Africa with a will to find working solutions for African economies.
