I used to be miss independent, don't need no man, I'll make it on own type of woman. I had figured that as an entrepreneur I was going to have to sacrifice true love because I think different, I'm unconventional and just altogether financially misunderstood by almost anyone who's not an entrepreneur! So along came Michael and I was really thinking our relationship was not going to work, we're financially different and that can cause a whole lot of problems down the line. So fairly early on in our relationship I was ready to part ways. The 6 figure difference between choosing the right partner vs the wrong partner! In this episode Michael shares his story of not being wise in his relationship choices and how much he suffered because of it. He then shares how much confidence and happiness he has in his current relationship with me (Cherice) because I was emotionally available and had put in the work to prepare myself for a relationship. Ultimately we were noth good for each other because we knew what we wanted and were willing to work together in pursuit of our goals. Being on the same page makes alllll the difference in partnership.
Michael and I live over 130 miles apart! We decided to enter into a long distance relationship but we really had no clue as to what we were getting ourselves into!
