This podcast presents the summary of the Personal project subject report  May 2020. 

Students should use this ATL Framework document to demonstrate the development of the skills.  These criteria documents which have the task-specific clarification will be immensely helpful. 

Identify: Provide an answer from a number of possibilities.  Recognize and state briefly a distinguishing fact or feature.

State: Give a specific name, value or other brief answers without explanation or calculation.

Outline: Give a brief account or summary.

Describe: Give a detailed account or picture of a situation, event, pattern or process.

Analyse: Break down in order to bring out the essential elements or structure. (To identify parts and   relationships, and interpret information to reach conclusions.)

Come semester 2 students in the southern hemisphere in MYP year 5 start wrapping up their personal projects and get on with the reporting. This episode will guide students through as to what is required for the submission. If you are a new supervisor this might save you some time by helping you quickly access the information from the guide.

In challenging circumstances and times, well-being remains the focus and priority for all learning and teaching in the MYP. The IB realise that schools may be dealing with physical and logistical challenges, and uncertainty around delivering the programme as intended. This may mean that the MYP in your school looks and feels different than under normal circumstances. These changes reassure schools that programme requirements can be met in flexible ways, and to provide guidance on possible ways forward.
