South Valley Community Church
Gospel Centered Mission Focused
South Valley Community Church is one church in many locations. Each week, hundreds of people at South Valley meet in small communities to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh and live. Church is more than a service, it’s people living life together and helping one another.
Our values are simple: We are Gospel Centered and Mission Focused. Our purpose as a church is to simply "Love God and Love People". We get that purpose from the words of Jesus in Matthew 22 where Jesus was asked, “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” We realize that Jesus has made it simple for us. However, putting simple words into action can be easier said than done. It takes a nurturing community to support those who are striving to follow Christ's words in this world. This is why South Valley Community Church exists: To proclaim the gospel and make disciples.
