Wheeler, M.D. The UCAN project was created by Cutlip in 2005 with the object of helping students plan, prepare and pay for college. The HealthPath Foundation of Ohio (HPF-Ohio) - was established in 1999 as a supporting organization of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF). The HPF-Ohio is not affiliated with Anthem Insurance Company. HPF-Ohio was formed through a voluntary agreement between the State of Ohio, Anthem Insurance Companies, Inc. (Anthem), and Anthem's subsidiary, Community Insurance Company (CIC). A 1995 merger brought the nonprofit CIC under the control of Anthem, a for-profit corporation. She has had the pleasure of working with more than 300 volunteers to provide a positive learning experience for nearly 1,300 youth ages 5-18 in the 4-H Club Program. Additionally, she has give leadership to the school enrichment program, which provides science-based experiential learning in more than 20 classrooms in Scioto County’s schools. Mary Ann Miars-Peercy is the Executive Director of the United Way of Scioto County. As the executive director, she invests and activates resources for 15 partner agencies. She brings groups together to focus on important needs in the community, building partnerships, forging consensus and leveraging resources that have made a measurable difference in the area.
