Connect Church began as a dream in the hearts of our founding pastors, Dave and Kasey Jane. Starting in early 2013, they began meeting with what would become the initial group of people who would start the church with them.
God showed us what Real Love looks like by choosing to love us first. This week we learn how we can respond to that unconditional love.
It's Valentines Day, and what better day than to begin a new series talking about love? We start out the series by talking about God's amazing love for us.
Millions of people will tune in for tonight's big game, and some of them will be young people dreaming that one day they'll be on that field. As followers of Jesus we are inspired by the great heroes of the faith who have gone before us, and yet we are also an example to those coming up behind us. With this in mind, how are you living your life?
A great marriage doesn't just happen. It requires work. This week we look at a couple of ducks to get in a row to help our marriage continue to grow and become stronger.

In the Bible, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. 41 came and the rain stopped. The people of Israel wandered the wilderness for 40 years. 41 came and a new generation entered their Promised Land. For 40 days Goliath bullied Israel and taunted anyone to fight him. 41 came and David slew Goliath. You might feel stuck on your journey . . . but day 41 is on its way.
When the church partners with the family it can make a huge impact on the next generation. This morning we look at the church's role in leaving a legacy in every phase that the kids in our lives go through.

As we approach the two year anniversary of the tornado, we look at the story of Jesus and his disciples in the boat during the storm. The disciples learned that day that they had a choice where to look. At the storm...or at the man in the boat who had control of it.
“Looking up” means to live life by continuing to move up the ladder of generosity, to keep growing in what it means to be generous toward God and His kingdom as a response to His grace.
“Moving up” means becoming a proportional giver: someone who gives to God a tenth of their income as first fruits out of gratitude and devotion.
“Stepping Up” means becoming an initial giver: someone who is moving from “getting all I can for myself” (and the stress and anxiety that comes with it) to “giving significantly for the good of others”.

In Christ, we find life that is really living! Refuse to simply go through life, but instead, let Jesus’ life go through you!
The fourth awakening we look at is the Awakening for Love. When we find our way back to God, we will discover our identity as a deeply loved, unconditionally accepted child of God.
