Today's headline: Man washes up on shore with odd pustules, he seems to have grown some sort of gills, as well. The man was speaking gibberish through choked gurgling, despite his seeming ability to breathe underwater. The man seemed to be drowning, though no water was found in his lungs. He was pronounced dead approximately an hour after being found by a passing jogger. The jogger, Joe Ginebra was admitted to a mental ward. This strikes us as odd, and we'll look into it further.

Welcome back to the Kimes Times, this is Justin Time.We brought you the headline previously about a gurgling man and one Joe Ginebra. The aforementioned, and previously unknown Joe was a man we found to be the owner of Joe's Bar and Tavern here in Kimes Valley. This was unexpected for us at the office, as we hosted our biweekly poker games there, and I'm sad to say, I typically lost every time. I guess there's no chance of me winning now that we no longer have a location to play.Joe Ginebra is still in the Sarstram Mental Ward downtown, with no indication of improvement. Gotta keep waiting on that poker game, I suppose. Welcome back to the Kimes Times this is Justin Time.With the changing of the year comes more complaints about odd noises coming from the local coal mine. We assure you these are simply earthly tones that are emanating from the cracks left by the miners in the 1800s and nothing more. We also would like to clarify the rumors surrounding the disappearance of the miners. They were not assaulted by any monsters or terrifying beings, they simply went in strike and left.The police are investigating a recent break in at the new community center construction site. The suspects left a particularly odd symbol repeated across the entire site. These vandals will be brought to justice, and we are sure they aren't Satanists, so please Miranda, stop calling in.The weather forecast for today is a high of 50, with a low tonight of 38. These temperature drops are expected to continue throughout January and into February. You can expect high winds tonight from the northeast at 10 miles per hour. Welcome back to the Kimes Times, this is Justin Time.We have a new community center being built to replace the old one on Drearer road. The new community center will be twice as big as the last, and also have better lighting. To allow for the construction of this community center, all traffic will be diverted around the two hundredth block of Drearer Road.Speaking of traffic, it's time for the traffic report. I-42 Traffic is backed up at the Ontegra lane exit, that's exit 45, due to a major accident involving a truck, a runaway chicken, and a very angry bulldog. This will be resolved in a few hours, according to the department of transportation.Now for the weather. Todays high will be a crisp 55 degrees with a chance of heavy rainfall. It's our hopes that it will not deter you from visiting our lecturer, who we will mention in the sponsors.
