This piece for guitar orchestra was commissioned by my dear mentor and guitar professor David Grimes who passed away in October 2021. It was recorded by the Orange County Guitar Orchestra in 2020. I am dedicating this post to the memory of David Grimes, someone who inspired and encouraged me to compose music for guitar.

Original piece written for "Trio Camino" March 2017. Best described as a sort of Piazaolla crashes a Samba party!
I was inspired to arrange this after watching a documentary on The Eagles... A sort of baroque meets latin jazz performed by a poor man's Al Dimeola. Hopefully Glenn Frey won't "kick my ass"... haha.
