AJAY C has had a love for music since the early nineties. Digging through his brothers cassette tapes listening to Gangsta Rap – ICE T – NWA – PUBLIC ENEMY. Around this era is when AJAY C started hitting up the INFAMOUS underage nightclub scene in Glasgow – ARCHAOS -THE SUB CLUB – THE TUNNEL.

Fascinated by the dance scene and his love of buying vinyl, led him to get his first set of decks when he was 16. Experiencing the clubbing haven at THE ARCHES, Glasgow and falling in love with Trance, House and Techno. Raving week in and week out to the likes of MAURO PICOTTO – BEN SIMS – CARL COX – LAURENT GARNIER – ROBERT HOOD. A large influence on the WAX he was buying and hosting parties around discotheques in Glasgow.

With over two decades of experience under his belt. NOW, If he’s not locking down the INFAMOUS AFTERS in Glasgow. You can can catch him warming up for special guests like Paul Birken, Thomas Schumacher and The Yellowheads. Still to this day he has a love for VINYL and now is the RESIDENT DJ and HEAD HONCHO of Glasgow underground outfit TAIKANO. Hosting upcoming cutting edge international and local talent.
