Falling is about hopelessly falling in love with a stranger. The strange phenomenon where you feel entirely drunk on someone you don’t even know, which is terrifyingly beautiful. It’s about following where your heart tells you to go and the only thing you can do is to hope your heart won’t be broken too badly.
Dead City was the first single that was released from the upcoming EP called Dark Light, which will be released early 2021. Dead City is energetic 80s synth pop song that marks a new era.
Dead City was inspired by a significant moment in NEEKOH’s life: “It was dark and quiet back in the hotel room in Belgium. My partner was passed out on the bed. I thought to myself how did I end up in this situation. I had so much love to give, yet loneliness burnt my insides. I found myself in a loveless relationship. Blinded by the shining lights, searching for the passion, craving for life.”
