Alt-Hip-Pop artist TeawhYB (Through Every Action Who Has Your Back) represents a brand of authenticity and ultimate connectivity, providing heartfelt commentary over guitars, synths, and drum kits. The cancellation of shows and TV appearances, notably an Official Showcase at SXSW 2020, forced TeawhYB to continue on through an introspective lens, prompting the release of "Controller 2" the debut single of his upcoming EP, "What We Were".
"We, as in the world, can't continue entirely the same way it has before the pandemic. We went through it together, like a relationship gone bad. We're going to make it out but we'll have transformed into something we weren't before."
