Happy New Year and welcome to the first Football Fans Podcast of 2017. It's looking like an exciting second half of the season in all leagues, so let the chat and debates continue. This week on the FFP we look at Swansea, Crystal Palace and Hull. Do you have to have a reputation in Football to get a top job in management? Is Arsenal finishing 5th a positive and how do we revive the FA Cup?

We’re back and what a time to return. Some great games, exciting teams and controversial topics to discuss. This week on the FFP we discuss strikers and ask should scoring goals be enough. Is the Poppy a political symbol and do FIFA really need to get involved? Should fans be expected to self police themselves when crude songs are sung and is Jose being schooled in how to coach players by other managers? We’re also running a competition and giving away a copy of the brand new Football Manager 2017 game. On the FFP this week we look at the Andre Gray situation. He's been charged for a homophobic tweet from 4 years ago, but is this right? A billion pounds has been spent by Premier League clubs in this transfer window but has the quality of the league significantly risen? And how do English players get better if they're not getting mins at the club.
The Premier League season has finally returned and we're buzzing. On the Football Fans Podcast we look at Goalkeepers and discuss, if the expectations will now change on them. Also with the standard of manager now in the Prem and players coming to the league, are fans entitled to expect a higher level of football this season? And Arsenal. Oh Arsenal.
