CarolAnn and I met on Facebook through Robin Solis (SpotMagic!) a few months ago and we adopted each other right away as friends more than media mavens. We hit it off so well, that we are certain we were friends in some other "when", as Stephen King so aptly calls it. CarolAnn is an endless source of light and information. I knew she'd be a good fit for a regular contributor here on MMN. She is a busy bee who gives interviews, writes blogs, fights chronic illness - all after she looks after her family - and also, she can serve up a hot plate of American politics the minute it's out of the oven! I have placed her link in Sari Sees on MMN's website for you. CarolAnn can be found in so many places on the net, that we hope this is just one more highlight for you to get to know her with!
Over the course of a marriage - you have to have humor or forget about it! As Peter and I have gone through the years, we have appreciation for each other in our career callings. As you can tell, Peter has an authentic (albeit watered down by decades in America) Yorkshire accent. He has kept his Brit penchant for woolly wit. The phone call you are listening to was while Peter was at a friend's automotive garage. I wanted to call his cell to test the sound quality of my recording equipment.
What ensues was too good to just delete. Mogol Media NetCasting is not serious all the time. And now, perhaps you can see why.

Meet Thomas Marron of Rhode Island. A self titled citizen of the world, Tom is a Financial Planner and our family friend. Discover his wealth that has nothing to do with his current method of career! Tom has served his country, survived illness and accident issues - a big old slice of life - he has been a teacher and still is very connected to University of Rhode Island on the Alton Jones Campus. Tom is a GRANDFATHER all in capital letters, just ask his family! Tom makes magic just by hearing him relate good stories of a most interesting life. He is a mentor and a friend.
In Part II, Tom continues the Magic Carpet Book Club adventure and we start enjoying a little bit of the life Tom has focused on living. A life of friends, sharing, teaching and his philosophy will brighten your day. Tom Marron finds positive momentum keeps him vital and growing each day. This man currently works a career as a Financial Planner and has clientele from all walks of life. Tom helps people save for tomorrow, but his spirit brings a WEALTH of integrity and methods in our busy world by reminding us that we are all capable of doing good things in small ways. The third and final part of this up close and personal view of one man's journey through heart disease and getting ready for surgery. Now it is time to get down to it. David Smith, age 55 of Yorkshire, UK takes us through arriving at the hospital, drifting to sleep - waking up from surgery, and the start of recovery in hospital and then at home.

Hurry up and wait! David and his family prepare a new lifestyle to get into shape for surgery. His case is non-emergent. They were lucky to have this time to do ALL the RIGHT THINGS to get healthy and strong. His heart valves were noted to be over 95% clogged, but he was able to make huge changes that helped immediately. The wait became a little longer than anyone was counting on. David shares what every heart disease patient needs to know to use their time wisely in order to maximize the goal of a great outcome! Here is Part Two: 13 minutes long
Follow David Smith's journey of Part One: Heart disease diagnosis, Part Two: preparation for surgery - and then Part Three: being sliced, diced and discharged to home. At the time of this interview, Smith, age 55 was three weeks out of surgery date and recuperating back home in Yorkshire, UK.
Part One: 'Somethings not right' - symptoms he did not ignore! It took a couple of appointments, but a diagnosis of angina was made. Further poking and prodding suggested that by-pass surgery was the way to go. Part One is just over 10 minutes long.
