Start Small: Choose one strategy and implement it today. Small, consistent actions lead to meaningful, lasting change.

Time Blocking: Move beyond to-do lists by scheduling specific time slots for tasks. Incorporate buffer time to accommodate unexpected changes, and honor those blocks as non-negotiable commitments to yourself.
Smart Goals and Priorities: Break down your goals into specific, measurable, and actionable steps. Focus on what truly aligns with your values and unlearn the idea that "busy" equals productive.
Delegation and Saying No: Outsource or eliminate tasks that don't require your direct involvement. Protect your time by setting boundaries and learning to decline tasks that don’t align with your priorities.
Journaling and Planning: Use tools like the Priority Playbook Planner to clarify your goals and map out your priorities. Writing things down clears mental space and helps with accountability.

Join me today as I share recent insights from trailblazing women who participated in the recent Women in Leadership conference hosted by SHRM.
In this episode, I shared the key leadership insights and lessons I gained from attending a recent women's leadership conference. A standout message was the importance of speaking up and not staying silent, as silence can allow others to define your path. I emphasized the power of finding mentors, advocates and allies who can see your potential, as well as the value of building resilience, being open to reinvention, and seeing challenges as opportunities.
I also highlighted the importance of inclusivity in leadership, such as actively soliciting different perspectives from your team. As you let go of power your impact will grow.
Another takeaway was the benefits of breathwork and future-casting to build belief in yourself, as well as the powerful concept of "sisterhood", where the idea that when one woman rises, we all rise.
Throughout, I emphasized the need for leaders to show up authentically, rather than having all the answers. I encouraged listeners to reflect on their values, goals and habits to help them grow as leaders. This conference truly left me inspired and energized, and I'm excited to share these impactful lessons with you.

In this episode of the It's Your Time podcast, Michelle discusses the importance of empowering yourself to lead a life aligned with your deepest values and goals. She covers several key strategies for managing time, prioritizing personal leadership, and integrating mindset shifts that lead to growth. Michelle shares a toolkit for empowerment that includes understanding one’s core values, setting clear priorities, and using intentional daily practices to avoid overwhelm.
Michelle emphasizes the concept of integration over balance, encouraging listeners to define success on their own terms and stop striving for unattainable “balance.” Through tools like mindset shifts, breathing exercises, and intentional self-care, she illustrates how to build resilience and calmness. She also explains the "think-feel-do" model, which shows how thoughts influence actions and outcomes. This method helps listeners identify and shift limiting beliefs, building a foundation for lasting change.
To close, Michelle encourages taking small steps toward goals, letting go of perfectionism, and focusing on intentional energy management to maintain well-being. By integrating personal growth practices, listeners can lead more intentional and empowered lives.

She emphasizes that fitness isn't one-size-fits-all. Instead, it's about setting realistic goals, staying consistent, and truly listening to your body. When it comes to mental health, Michelle advocates for mindfulness practices like meditation and breathing exercises as essential tools to manage stress. In nutrition, she encourages listeners to break away from emotional eating by planning and prepping meals thoughtfully.

In today’s podcast I want to talk to you about the concept of Fixed Mindset vs Growth Mindset, and how what you learned in school growing up does not always serve you in the corporate world. Here’s is some of what I see in my clients - the need to always have a right or wrong answer, the need to always do it right, the need to get the A, the need to not be wrong, and the need to get the external approval. But this fixed mindset thinking holds us back from cultivating our qualities, taking on new projects and truly excelling in our lives.

Episode Notes:
In today’s episode I want to talk about blame and responsibility. Especially when you feel like others are causing you more stress and anxiety in the workplace.
I heard some form of this topic last week in a couple different conversations, so I think it’s and important topic to discuss. The work we do here is for us to see just how powerful we are in creating new results in our lives based on what we choose to think.

EPISODE NOTES:
In today’s episode I am discussing the changes you need to make when you want to take your life to the next level. Whether you are looking to take on a new role at work or go for a promotion there are three things you need to be willing to: be bad, feel discomfort, change your identity. Staying comfortable keeps you safe - but feeling trapped in life. Listen today to hear more about how your brain is wired to keep you small - and what you can do to move away from that in order to do more of what you want.
IN THIS EPISODE:
I know a lot of you ladies love checklists right? I’m all about a good checklist myself - the more checked the better right? But, I recently read a great book - The Checklist Life - Breaking Free from a Life of Obligations - and it made me stop to think about how much of my life has been planned from that mentality. Meaning, the idea that x-y-z needs to be accomplished in order to “do it right” - or - I have to do all of these things because … that’s what I’m “supposed” to do. But here is the thing - showing up, doing your life, the way you WANT to - IS doing it right, and today I want to talk more about that. Listen in as I discuss this book with the Tracy Bianco, Leadership Coach, and author of The Checklist Life.

EPISODE NOTES:
The definition of self care reads: the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health. So let’s start here - taking action to preserve or improve ones own health. That seems like a pretty important thing to me right? But somewhere along the line we started thinking self care is selfish. What part of taking action to preserve or improve one’s own health, seems selfish? Interesting isn’t it? The other thing, is somewhere along the line, people started thinking self care meant bubble baths, massages, and days at the spa. Now listen - maybe on some days that is fabulous - and you do that. But I want to talk about DAILY self care - a deeper level of self care that is different from all those other ideas.

Today I want to talk to you about how tiny changes can lead to big results - lasting results in your life. I don’t think we give enough credit to how much your life can change when you make tiny changes. Today I discuss why thoughts and systems are the key to obtaining the new goals you want to achieve.

In today’s episode I am discussing the most important words ever said. Listen today to find out why what you say to yourself is so crucial to creating the life you want to live. This is not an “airy fairy” way to think - it’s the integral work you do recognizing the the small sentences you say to yourself daily which give you the results you have.

I was recently in a Facebook group looking at women responding to the question - what is your biggest struggle with work, and overwhelmingly, the answers included work life balance and time management.
Women trying to do it all and feeling overwhelmed - not being able to do what they want.
Today I wanted to share a few ideas because I think this is such an important topic. Being able to control your time is everything to living the life you want.

Episode Notes:
I am so excited to share some new changes and talk a bit about how coaching can help if you are feeling stuck.
The truth is - the discomfort of making changes in your life offers you the opportunity to feel more alive than ever - vs - staying stagnant in a life you just live day after day thinking there must be something more.
Listen today to hear just some of the ways it has worked for me, and start thinking about what you would want if we could wave a magic wand and help you achieve it. How fun!

Episode Notes:
Todays topic stems from something that came up in a recent class with my group. I think a number of you will benefit from hearing my take on the idea that you have to do it all.
I hear this sentence from clients regarding work, I hear this sentence from clients when speaking about home life, and I’ve even told myself this sentence for both work and home.
Listen today to learn how that sentence - “I have to do it all” is a lie we tell ourselves and what you can choose to think in order to see where you hold the power in everything you do.

EPISODE NOTES:
Change is the one constant in life, and in today’s episode I want to talk to you about the three components that will help you make lasting change. Awareness is always the first step. Once you become aware of what you are currently thinking you will need curiosity and compassion. Listen now to learn more about how the three work together.
IN THIS EPISODE:
NOTES:
One thing I really have been reflecting on a lot recently is the idea of gratitude
I don’t mean - pretend gratitude when you aren’t happy. I mean a true connection with gratitude - for the brain’s benefit - where you truly focus on what is important to you, and where you feel most prosperous.
People who regularly practice gratitude, by taking time to notice and reflect upon the things they're thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have stronger immune systems.
So why is it important to take the time to notice? Listen now to learn more.

EPISODE NOTES:
I think you can agree - we love the feeling of accomplishment. You know - when you can check off the list of things to do. But let’s be honest - we just add more to the list, and keep taking action - going and going and going. If we don’t take a break it’s almost like we are someone one ice running in place and if you don’t stop you are going to start going backwards.
For myself and for the women I work with, it’s easier to keep going, and keep doing for everyone else Vs taking time to hear the voices in your head. So many of us feel like we are stuck in our lives doing the same thing over and over. That’s because - you are. So today I want you to think about your biggest advocate - the future you you want to become. Listen to learn what I mean and how to begin.
1:1 Private coaching opened up - I’m looking for 4 clients who are ready to excel in your life - without the stress and overwhelm, and do more of what you want without feeling guilty.

This is such a great topic. The decisions you make today will be the results you see tomorrow.
You know something? Every decision is optional. What I mean is - everything in your life is a choice - even if it doesn’t feel like it. I can not tell you how important this statement is and how much it has changed my life. It was the quote on my nameplate from Brooke Castillo when I went through certified training with the Life Coach School, and I did not realize at the time how much my life would change knowing this - and that’s why I share it with you. So many of the women I work with feel like that ‘have’ to do - all the things. For me it was all the work “have-tos’ and I use quotes now, but at the time it felt like a fact for SURE. It sometimes caused me to feel super resentful, like nothing was ever enough, and like I could never do anything I wanted to.
Anyone relate?
I’m guessing yes.
That’s why today I’m talking about the importance of the decisions you make, how you always have the opportunity to change the decisions you make and how looking at your decisions can change your life.
IN THIS EPISODE:
Today I want to talk to you about the importance of the questions you ask yourself. The questions you ask will lead you to the results you currently have. We want to ensure your questions are ones that will lead you to the results you want in your life. Listen now to learn more.

What story do you tell yourself every single day? I know my brain likes to go to things like - it’s not enough - your not doing enough - it will be better once I get “there” ... and accomplish ... (insert anything).
Can you relate?
The thing is -the option to tell yourself you are right where you need to be exists. The option to tell yourself you do - and have - exactly what is needed exists. It’s never better “there”. We take our brains with us wherever we go - and so the thoughts come along for the ride.
The option to believe you are living your best life in this moment exists in this moment.
Let’s work on believing that one - doesn’t it seem like so much more fun?

I think the idea of the pursuit of happiness - like all the time happy, happy, happy, - is such a lie. It’s one of those sneaky thoughts, that sounds good but can actually cause so much suffering. Today I want to offer you the idea of emotional balance. My master coach instructor Brooke Castillo says life is 50/50. Meaning, 50% of the time we feel positive, and 50% of the time life is meant to be negative, I almost wish we could take negative and positive out of it - because it’s really more about being willing to feel all feelings. To be a human. Not to label them as right or wrong - just being willing to feel all of them. In this episode, I will use positive and negative for example's sake.

Today I want to talk to you about visualizing your future - especially your future self. I think sometimes this can be a little challenging to know what that means. Sometimes we are like - Huh? I’m not sure what the future holds.
I used to always think that. You know that question they ask you on the interview - where do you see yourself in 5 years? I used to be like - umm… not sure - hopefully still alive..lol. The thing is - a lot of us think life just happens to us. But that is not true - we create everything in our life. So, let's start today by purposefully thinking about what that is.

I was recently speaking with a colleague and she was talking about how she likes to stay behind the scenes. The conversation really got me thinking about how many women think this way. But the truth is, this line of thinking is not useful when we want to continue to improve ourselves and excel in our careers.
One of my favorite quotes from Robin Arzon - Peloton Lady Boss “If it doesn’t increase my vibe or my bank account - Its a no”. This idea is what I want to talk to you about today - the idea of self promotion and increasing your vibe - or confidence - around telling others how amazing you are.
