The Indiana Pacers shot the lights out against the Philadelphia 76ers in game 1 of the seeding games, and wouldn't you believe that TJ Warren would end up scoring 53 points to beat this team, and shoot 20 of 29 from the field and make 9 of 12 3s?? The Sixers were actually up by 10 to start the fourth quarter and Indiana would outscore them 46 to 34 in just that 4th quarter alone!

Even Joel Embiid's 41 Points and 21 rebounds, and Tobias Harris' 30 points weren't even enough to help the Sixers win this game. The biggest concern of the game was the amount of turnovers the Sixers had , and the overall performances of all the guards. Shake Milton played 19 minutes, didn't score a single point, had 5 fouls, and even had some words with Joel Embiid!! Ben Simmons looked dazed and confused on defense throughout the first half, and the other perimeter defenders Josh Richardson and Matisse Thybulle didn't have their best defensive games either.

Tomorrow is a big day!! Flyers vs. Bruins; game 1 of the round robin! A lot to talk about with this team when it comes to players like Carter Hart, Claude Giroux, Ivan Provorov, and some other guys on this team, and there are also some questions I have for this team when it comes to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Is Oskar Lindblom going to get some playing time? How are Shayne Gostisbehere’s knees and will he be available to play? Who is going to be a part of that second line at left-wing? How much of an impact will Alain Vigneault’s coaching style affect this team in the playoffs?

It's about time we heard Joel come out and speak!! He hasn't really been doing that since the NBA games were suspended back in March, but last night he went on the The Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast:with Michael Levin and Spike Eskin and said a few things that were very interesting.

One of them had to do with what his first NBA game felt like against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2016-17 season and how after that game he knew he could be a great scorer in the NBA. He also talked about the Kawhi shot and what happened in last year's playoffs. Not only did he feel sick but he also admitted that his "knee was messed up" and the he "couldn't jump, couldn't run" and he had to push himself "to give the Sixers a chance of winning".

With that being said, he also talked about what it's like playing with Ben Simmons and how happy he was for him working more on his game!! He went even further and got me a little bit emotional by saying, "I love him!! And I want to be with him for the rest of my career because I still think that he has a lot of potential, and me too. We can get so much better than we are right now and I don’t see the point of ever playing with somebody else. Although both of their games are different, and they both have unique skill sets, both of them aren't even in their prime and they have such a high basketball IQ, and this shows that he is ALL IN ON BEN SIMMONS and wants to make this work with him!

The Phillies vs. Yankees Game and the Marlins vs. Orioles Game were not played today after it was confirm today that at least 11 Marlins players and a few of their team members were tested positive for coronavirus. The Marlins were supposed to fly back home this morning to Miami and play in their home opener series against the Orioles! How long will they not be able to play baseball? What's going to happen to the MLB??

Is Rob Manfred going to have to step in? When will the Phillies be bale to play???

Make sure that you leave me a review and email SportstalkwithJJ@gmail.com so that I can hear your thoughts on this matter!

After an incredible win on Saturday afternoon, the Phillies started off strong in the first inning after going up 4 to nothing, but they just couldn't hang on to that lead and ended up losing by a final score of 11 to 6!

Vince Velasquez only lasted 3 innings, the bullpen abysmal, and the offense just couldn't come through during big time moments. The Phils left the bases loaded 3 times during the game, and they went 2 for 13 today with runners in scoring position! They had no answers for Miguel Rojas who almost hit for the cycle in this game and had a 3 run bomb, an RBI triple and a single up the middle ; Jesus Aguilar, Corey Dickerson, and Brett Anderson all hit big time home runs; and the pitching just couldn't stop the bleeding.

How will this carry over into the next series when the Phillies have a split series against the New York Yankees and have to play them 2 times at home and 2 times on the road?

The Phillies won Game 2 of this home opener series against the Miami Marlins! Zach Wheeler pitched a great game and got his first win in a Phillies uniform, by going 7 innings, only giving up one earned run and striking out 4 batters on 87 pitches! Joe Girardi also got his first win as the new manaager of the Phillies, and that's gotta feel great!

Offensively, Didi continued to swing a hot bat and hit a nice solo shot early on in the game; Phil Gosselin also continued to stay red hot and went 3 for 3 today and had 2 home runs and 3 rbis in this game, and finally JT Realmuto finally came through behind the plate and helped the Phillies deliver a much needed 3 run home run to dead center field!! Can they carry this momentum going into tomorrow's game, and possibly win this series??

Friday is the big day!!!!! The Phillies begin their home opener series against the Miami Marlins, and I just can't stop thinking about how I excited I am to see this team play!!

In this podcast, I go over the 60 game regular season schedule of who the Phillies will be playing throughout the season. Next, I talk about what new rule changes the league added and how these new rules are going to impact the Phillies in particular. Finally, I discuss what my expectations are this season for the Phillies in order for their season to be considered successful.  I break this down by going over what everyone in the starting lineup needs to provide for the team,  what needs to be done in the starting rotation, and  the major concerns I have with this bullpen and what they need to do in order for them to close out games.

BIG SIXERS NEWS!!!!!!

Shake Milton has been named the starting Point Guard. That means Ben Simmons has now moved to the Point Forward Position and Al Horford will be coming off the bench. How will this new change affect the entire team?

I also discuss what the Sixers Schedule looks like for the next 8 games, and what the expectations should be moving forward for a team that is trying to make a deep playoff run.  I specifically go into detail of what I expect out of Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, and even Brett Brown in order to help this team excel and move forward.
