Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The American Psychological Association says that biblical masculinity is a form of mental illness. The APA has issued a set of guidelines based on the premise that “traditional masculinity is, on the whole, harmful.” By traditional masculinity they means qualities such as “stoicism” - the ability to face adversity without collapsing, “competitiveness,” which is one of the main drivers of career success, “dominance and aggression” which are traits that enabled American men to achieve independence, free the slaves, and turn back the Nazi menace. The APA is part of the dark crusade to utterly feminize men. But, as I explain in my book for fathers, The Boy to Man Book, which you can get at afastore.net, biblical masculinity means using masculine strength, to stand for the truth, protect the week, and to provide for and lead our families. Maybe it’s the people who think this is toxic are the ones with the mental disorder.
