I am a musician/DJ. One of the best kept secrets of Soundcloud, I unleash my musical experiments here on the unsuspecting audience... It's what I create weekly in my Amsterdam basement studio ,inviting fellow musicians and singers. My instruments are keyboard,guitar,bass ,percussion & grooves I use a combination of Ableton,Logic and a lot of live recording. My specialities are sounddesign and producing the final mix for studio recordings,for which I received many awards and Billboard chart notations. Because my musical career started with reggae,playing in the band 'It Lives" in the 80s ,I got a firm grip on that groove... With this band we opened for Creation Rebel,the Revolutionaries,DoeMaar,General Saint,to name a few.. I mix dub style into everything I encounter on my path ,so in 1995 I was signed by Chris Blackwell to Island records,and after that I worked as a producer for Higher Octave music in L.A for 10 years.During that time I produced beats,remixes & synth tracks for artists like The Soto Koto Band(Gambia),Jon Anderson (Yes),Gary Herbig (Tower of power)Craig Chaquico(Jefferson Starship),Richard Hardy (Carol King) and cooperated with musicians like Bill Summers(Herbie Hancock) and Tony Scott(Steely Dan) I was also part of 3rd Force,a smooth jazz trio,( 8 albums) of which the last album in 2015 was 33 weeks nr 1 in the U.S. charts. Nowadays I play keyboards & guitar for several bands in Europe,produce music for You-tubers, and I try out my new tracks weekly at Barney's Uptown, a DJ cafe in Amsterdam, I am a front of house sound tech at festivals locally & produce music from my Amsterdam based studio...
