theStream.tv Fan Show Network presents the Scandal After Show. Tune in each week, live or on demand, for the review and conversation of the Shonda Rhimes hit ABC television series. Scandal debuted on ABC on April 5th, 2012 and focuses on Olivia Pope's crisis management firm, Olivia Pope & Associates, in Washington DC. The staff of Olivia Pope & Associates started off with Harrison Wright, Abby Whelan, Huck, and Quinn Perkins. In the midst of all the Scandals, Olivia Pope has the biggest scandal of them all, her affair with the President of the United States, President Fitzgerald, aka Fitz, played by Tony Goldwyn (Ghost). Before Scandal, Shonda Rhimes was at the helm of the popular medical drama Grey's Anatomy, and it's spin-off Private Practice. After three successful seasons of Scandal, ABC announced Shonda Rhimes new legal drama, How to Get Away with Murder, which follows Scandal on Thursday nights as part of their #TGIT line-up. In the series, Oscar Nominated Actress Viola Davis (The Help) plays Annalise Keating who is a Criminal Defense Professor to a group of ambitious law students. Scandal, now on it's fourth season, stars Kerry Washington (Django) as Olivia Pope, Darby Stanchfield (NCIS) as Abby Whelan, Katie Lowes (Big Hero 6) as Quinn Perkins, Tony Goldwyn (Divergent) as President Fitz, Jeff Perry (Wild Things) as Cryus Beene, Guillermo Díaz (Weeds) as Huck, Bellamy Young (Criminal Minds) as Mellie Grant , and Joshua Malina (In Plain Sight) as David Rosen. Kerry Washington's character, Olivia Pope, is partially based on former George H.W. Bush administration press aide Judy Smith, who serves as a co-executive producer.
