Born in Champaign, Illinois, raised in Arlington, Texas but currently living in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. I have that Down South sound with the rawness and delivery of the Southwest. "Lil Pat AKA Tha Hook King" was born on April 20, 1991 in Urbana, Illinois. At the age of 18 months, he and his family relocated to Arlington, Texas where he was raised. He started his love for music at the age of 6 when he began taking piano lessons and playing at recitals. At the age of 12 his cousin, Koomlaude, introduced him to rapping and showed him how to record with a computer and an inexpensive microphone. Lil' Pat was a natural and immediately started writing and composing his own original songs. Around this time, he was also singing in choir shows and still learning how to blend his love of singing and rapping which would eventually become his signature sound.

Lil Pat has performed at a variety of venues and opened for artists such as: Chingo Bling, Lil' Rob, Hurricane Chris, Chalie Boy, Dorrough, Billy Cook, The Bangz, and more. His sophomore independent album, "Never Look Back" was released November 20, 2012 and is continuing to receive rave reviews. Lil Pat visits schools and community events geared toward the youth to show them rap music does not have to be full of profanity or glorify drugs and women.

Lil Pat exhibits a vast vocabulary of words and punch lines through songs that are stories and many that are about his own personal life and his strong dedication to family. In spite of being diagnosed with Leukemia in July 2009, he remains positive about his future in music. He is a Rapper/Singer/Producer that promises to always keep "Chasing My Dreams".
