On episode 13 of the Mercyhurst Made podcast hear from one of our most recent alumna, Marina Boyle.  Marina is the 2021 recipient of the Carpe Diem award, read her bio in detail below.

Marina is graduating summa cum laude, with majors in both Business & Competitive Intelligence and International Hospitality & Tourism, plus a pre-law minor. She’s already received a number of prestigious scholarship awards in her field.

She has also been involved in just about every aspect of student life. She’s been active with the Merciad, this year serving as managing editor of the student newspaper. She co-chaired the Senior Class Gift Committee for the Class of 2021. She was a resident assistant, an Ambassador, a representative to student government. She’s also served as president of the Competitive Intelligence Club, the International Students Organization, Habitat for Humanity, and the Pre-Law Society.

Marina will start a job soon as a financial crimes investigator for Key Bank. In the future she hopes to combine her two majors to do competitive analysis for a tourism or travel company.
